I highly recommend this restaurant! I have ordered takeaway from here several times and I have never been disappointed. It is also always a lovely experience to eat at the restaurant. Was supposed to go for mother's day due to lock down that didn't happen! So went last night and the food was beautiful! Everything was so fresh and the service was fantastic 👏 our table was booked for 7pm and we'd eaten our 3 course meal by 8pm!! The staff are all so friendly and welcoming and kept apologing for noise people in the restaurant which didn't bother us! We didn't realise that they wear doing the eat out to help out so for an already amazing value for money restaurant it was even better! Will definitely be going again!

Love this curry house. Good food and service. Friendly staff. They will recommend dishes to suit your palette. Dishes not on menu can be accommodated - give the garlic, chilli and cheese naan a whirl. Had a delivery and it was prompt and hot. Good value.

this is great cheap indian restaurant. they do a very good tandoori mixed grill for a little over £10! the staff are friendly and helpful ask for raymond hes the knowledgeable manager been there years.

Tonight was the first time I've ordered from here, and I'm glad I did. The food was nothing less than excellent, cooked to perfection, full off favour and large piece's of succulent meat with no fat. Delivery was swift and although they are not the cheapest I will definitely be ordering from them from now on. Well done guys, I'm still licking my lips.

Had a Christmas party here. They are not licensed to serve alcohol so you can bring your own which is a big bonus. Food and service was good and the value for money is excellent. You may need to book a table particularly weekends.

Ordered a takeaway. Found it rather expensive, and not very good value. Curry was rather watery with not much depth of flavour. Vegetables looked like a frozen mix. Bajis were like the ones you get with a supermarket curry. The Naan bread was the best part as it was very good.

Stumbled across this place after reading great reviews. Had to give it a go and was not dissapointed. Its a bring your own alchahol establishment but we always like to go for the Mango Lassi and we werent dissapointed. Huge jug for under a fiver. Food quality was excellent and nicely presented. Staff were attentitive and very helpful. We really need to support these smaller restaurants and can wholly recommend Balti International

Went for a last minute meal as we had received a flyer through the door, we arrived at about 6ish and the place was empty, so in turn it made he service excellent. Although there was a meal deal, we just went for Poppadums as a starter and a main course each, along with cheese naan and lemon rice. The food was lovely with the lamb literally melting in my mouth. We bought drinks, which were costly, but you can take your own beer and wine! Really good and would recommend!

Clean and tidy and food not bad.very samey though. Takeaway food not brill.. My was powdery if that makes sense. It looked like gravy and so did my boyfriends... We both had different curries and different heat strength.. Mine was hotter than mild and had just chicken and a bit of tomato and him indoors had the same Ingredients to mine. Bhuna and balti was more like rogan josh! Not peppers or onions. Wouldn't recommend at all but we all have different tastes so don't be put off

I love Balti International, for both the restaurant and takeaway. It is BYOB if you do go into the restaurant (which makes it a lot cheaper!) The food is really tasty, I've never been disappointed and I've been eating there for years.

We go to this restaurant regularly and always get a good welcome and enjoy the food. This time was particularly good as everything was spot on, which was lucky as we took some friends for the first time. I can recommend the tandoori fish and the murgh methi palaak. They don't have a licence but you can take your own alcoholic drinks, or even better get a jug of beer from the nearby pub, also 2 offlicences across the road. Sunday to Thursday they have a meal deal of poppadom, pickles, starter and main course for £15. The prices are very reasonable anyway.

As ever, a fantastic Balti International meal! Couldn't resist the meal deal, devoured what we consider the best pickle tray in Derby with a poppadom, succulent hot chilli fish and a sizzling lamb shaslik to start and an eye wateringly authentic fish Sri Lanka and gorgeously tender lamb Rezella main with out favourite mushroom pilau and garlic coriander naan to help with the heat sweats!! Wonderful friendly service and really quickly served tonight. We cannot find better in Derby, even amongst the posher places which seem overly greasy /rich and over priced by comparison.

Visited on the 14/06/2014 there was 6 of us 2 children and 4 adults we had been 3 times before this visit and had no problems but not this time as the for the next 2 days after our visit me and my sister got Diarrhoea and couldnt leave the house. We were the only 2 who had the same starter a chicken tikka puri so we put it down to the chicken not beeing cooked properly. This has really put us off returning to this resturant which is a shame as staff where polite and food was good. What a shame our night out for fathersday was ruined by this resturant.
