Quite nice. The staff are lovely- very friendly and presentable, they make you feel good. Think I made a bad choice about the food; salmon salad- the salmon was cold and separated on top. The mango in the salad was too much of a variation with me. I’m sure those with a more refined pallet may find this enjoyable. The bread starter was nice- plenty of it. My other half had the halloumi starter and then a meat free burger. Lager (Estrella) was tasty. This is a massive place, it looks pretty and it looks good for groups- there were two groups already in there when we got there. I’ll come back, with a different choice on the menu.

This is a lovely place with lovely food. I've never had a meal I didn't like. The bar area is great for a relaxing drink. I'm there often and take my Book Club there... We went for a Tapas evening last night. Food and wine were lovely.

Been to a few CCs around the country, so familiar with the setup/menu. Dined here as a family of 5 on a quiet Tuesday night. Welcoming atmosphere with eclectic decor. Great range of dishes and great cocktail offer. Got served by Callum, who was polite and charming. Service and food both spot on. Highly recommended!

I really enjoyed it here lovely building and great atmosphere I will be coming here again that's for sure. The food was really nice and presented very elegant, which i like I was the first person to try the Christmas menu and at very reasonable price. I also tried one of their cocktails which was well made and presented. The staff seem very friendly and helpful which I like to see and found nothing to much ask for and had small but yet meaningful conversations which is important as someone myself who mangers other establishments in the hospitality area. I am going go back and try out some off there other food as there menus had plenty to choose from and a great drink selection.

My friend and I wanted somewhere different to go for some late lunch and so we decided on the Cosy Club. Although my friend had been once before a while back, it was my very first time visiting. As you walk in, you're greeted with an almost vintage-y feel and it's great! Old paintings upon the wall and retro furniture too, but that's not all. Ascending the stairs to the top, we got to the first bit of the club which is the bar area and what a fab area it is too, to relax and enjoy and Beveridge or two. Further down is where the restaurant is located and a lovely restaurant it is too. Very ornate with a fancy oldy-worldy vibe, almost like stepping back in time. The decor and glass chandeliers make for a very luxurious, almost palatial feel. The staff were really friendly and showed us to a table where after a short time of waiting, we had water poured for us before choosing what we'd like to eat and drink. I decided to go for the dirty chicken burger and I'm glad I did. The portion size was great, and there was plenty going on in the burger; the flavours were tantalising! Everything was cooked really well and tasted good (oh and the berry cider they have is certainly worth a try!) After spending time enjoying our meal, we paid for the bill and were able to make our way, with our drinks, to the bar area to take a sit and enjoy the vibe further. I would certainly recommend the Cosy Club to anyone looking for something different, with a cool vibe and great food. Thank you to the staff for a pleasant and enjoyable visit, will certainly be returning! :)

Beautiful Victorian building converted into a pub and dining out place. Beautiful architecture, historical decor and design, very spacious and great customer service and quick delivery of drink and food items. The mocktails was fresh and tasty, tapas portions were great and tasty and my pan-fried Seabass fillet meal was lovely, tasty and warn and delicious. Prices were very reasonable. Nice building & interesting decor. The ladies were spotlessly clean. My husband and I went for brunch and both agreed the food was tasty but not very warm when served. The staff were friendly but not very attentive despite it being very quiet. We didn't get any serviettes & a table near us wasn't cleared away.

Lovely place with great vibe. We went here with a group of just under 20 for a hen party meal. We had a set menu to choose from which had plenty of choice and a selection of starters were brought out which were all delicious. Our mains then all came out at the same time and were great. We were also able to order drinks separately at the bar which wasn't too busy and made splitting the bill at the end much easier!

First of all this a wonderful setting for a meal. Quite special. We had a family meal there last night (five adults) each of us choosing something different from the menu, and all our meals were excellent, with nobody left feeling disappointed with their choice. It was extremely busy but the young lady who looked after us was charming, helpful and attentive and was a real credit to the place. It wasn't our first visit, and we have always enjoyed eating there, but the new menu is excellent and is likely to tempt us back very soon.

This is an excellent spot for anytime of day, Masterful cocktails, delicious meals and great service. The the atmosphere feels like you've been transported to the 1920s with decor and staff dress. I have eaten here a few times and has not disappointed. You will forget your even in the heart of Derby. My only disappointment was that the Breakfast/Brunch menu is small what is on there is good but I would like to see a few more twists on the classics (I was really hoping for Steak and eggs) Highly recommend a visit for food and drinks.

We had a family meal here which was always going to be complicated and yet the Cozy Club dealt with it really well. 17 noisy people, 3 vegans and one member with severe allergies…the group was a challenge. The hostess and chef were brilliant and went to a lot of trouble to make sure that everyone was catered for and the food was satisfactory. The reason for 4 stars was due to the time we had to wait for our food (nearly an hour) and the time we had to wait between starters and mains. I would definitely go back with a small group though.

Disappointing food! As a bar the place is great fantastic venue along with a trendy atmosphere very nice however the food is very Disappointing I had the house burger which was OK but the portions were very small, my wife had the club sandwich which was shocking dry and hard chicken and well over cooked bacon with no taste. We did mention this to the waitress with a reply oh sorry still had to pay for it. So round up nice place rubbish food

Despite it being part of a pub chain it is a quirky and unique addition to Derby. It's amazing what they have done to breathe new life into a very large historic building that was otherwise looking very tired. Great food in a beautifully decorated setting. Loads of space so getting a last minute reservation wasn't a problem. The menu is varied but the portions from the main menu are on the small side. Such a wonderful hidden gem, going upstairs into a beautiful space with elegant, quirky and stylish decor that is both intriguing and pleasing to the eye. The staff were attentive but no overly so... A fantastic venue. Feels like such a privilege to be able to enjoy such a building. Relaxed and atmospheric. This place is truly amazing, it offers you a wide range of different sets of meals (breakfast, brunch, lunch, tea, dinner etc.) which are absolutely delightful. I went out with my family and we had some great time - the place is clean, warm and just like the name, cosy. The food is delicious as well as very well served and presented. Personally, I would give this restaurant a 4.5/5 however Google doesn't allow you to. I wouldn't give it a 5/5 because the food at Cosy Club is rather expensive. I recommend you go to this restaurant.

Words wouldn't do this amazing venue justice, but I'll try all the same, if your looking for a relaxing chilled environment with its own style which cannot be compared to anywhere else on the high street, you will not be disappointed. The decor all the way through to the menu, simply amazing, with a dinning room that impresses , with space aplenty you won't feel like your eating with the people on the table next door. The tapas starters are a great way to get the meal going enabling the sharing of each other and a tast sensation with every bite, we had the shredded chicken and chorizo, sesame crispy chicken, mini sausages and halloumi fries, simply amazing. I split my golden dame burger with my brothers blue velvet burger so I could try both on this one visit, both were amazing, with our partners enjoying the half chicken and the pork belly , the food being so good I don't think any of us spoke till we had finished. All meals must end with desert and if there is a hot chocolate brownie and ice cream out there that is better than the one I had here I am yet to find it, simply mouthfulls of heaven for the brownie lover. All in all a great venue and great price, I will return for sure, and recommend to anyone in derby and the surrounding areas.

Sadly today wasn’t as good as it has been in the past. Service very slow, staff not always to be seen, waited so long to order, drinks slow, after eating, plates with us for quite a time before cleared away. Long wait before we saw someone to ask for a dessert menu, when the staff were switch us they were very pleasant and helpful, but the waiting was frustrating. It was not busy, and yes we were catching up as I had not seen my sisters since May when we were last at your venue, also the glasses for the Prosecco were dirty, glasses on table for water, one had grit in it, and my cocktail glass had a chip on pedestal, so all very sad as we pick Cozy Club for our meeting place when my sisters travel from London to visit me in Derby. They also visit cozy club wherever they travel, the Bristol one being a favourite of one of my sisters. These are the reasons for giving three stars, such a pity.

Visited late on a Friday night and the place was very empty. Managed to order a few very delicious cocktails via the table service app. Really nice quality drinks. Had espresso martini and a fizzy gin concoction which was a great pick me up. Decor in Cosy club is opulent and the music not too loud so a really nice place to have a drink and a conversation.

Derby’s hidden gem! The interior is absolutely stunning. Went there today with my sister and we really enjoyed it. The food was lovely - I had the Sea Bass and she had the Thai Green Curry. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the atmosphere was wonderful. Highly recommend 👌

My new favorite restaurant! Once I entered the building, I was already amazed, but once I got what I ordered (the halloumi burger), I was astonished. It was good, filling and definitely much more than just cozy. I had the best time ever with my partner.

I really enjoy this place an old fashioned place in decor brought to together with style and good customer service. The derby branch is no exception. I go regularly and enjoy it every time. Pricing It’s a little on the pricey side but that keeps the riffraff out. Service The service is really good Access my only bug bare is that access is upstairs there is a lift but it is small and the stairs are sharp and steep. The seating is old style with sofas and arm chairs all it needs is a nice fire.

Warm and friendly restaurant in the middle of the city centre. Food selection varied and pretty decent quality. Prices quite high for Derby. The building is beautiful but is so loud when its even half full mainly attributed to the furniture selection and the use of blinds on the huge 5m high windows rather then drapes.

Best atmosphere for that life in another decade feel. We happened to be in it on a Friday night with a live jazz band playing covers of popular songs. It was great to hear the talent and it didn't detract from conversation too much. Brilliant drinks menu, although asking for a straight whiskey, I failed to mention no ice... This place is exactly what it says it is, cosy. It reminds me of the club's you'd see down in London in 1920s, high ceilings, comfy seats, a warm and vibrant atmosphere. The drink prices are expected in Derby, paying around £4 for a cider/beer on tap. The food (the nibbles we had) were tasty and well worth the few quick we paid each. Seems like the perfect place to bring a date or to have a nice relaxing chat with a friend or family member.

What a gorgeous venue! Once I was inside (either by lift or stairs) I discovered it was rather bigger than I'd expected. It's slightly more expensive for an alcohol drinks than I'm used to, but it's definitely worth it, and the soft and hot drinks are very attractively priced (plus lots of options including soya and decaf.) It has a 20s/30s/40s vibe, exemplified by the styles of the free live bands that feature monthly, and that helps to make it a place that's really comfortably cross generational: I know my nieces love it here, now so do I. Very helpful, genuinely friendly staff. The name feels very apt, the whole place feels really rather cosy due to it's layout but it remains fully accessible throughout, and it does kind of feel like you're a member of a special little secret club when you're up there. I think this is going to become one of my favourite venues for a relaxed afternoon cuppa, for romantic meals, and for a fab night out. :)

Having enjoyed the excellent Lincoln Cosy Club, we thought we'd check out the Derby version whilst in the town centre. Initial entry to the venue looks identical to Lincoln, until you go up the lift to the restaurant/bar area. The look and feel of the place is very similar to Lincoln; although a much smaller venue, it's still spacious and welcoming. The staff were polite, friendly and helpful. The food was very high quality. Overall a get pleasant experience. I'd recommend it as a good place to eat whilst you're in Derby (or Lincoln, for which I'd give a very similar review).

Four of us visited Derby Club last Saturday at 9.15pm. The restaurant was fairly busy but not full. I imagine some people may find the cavernous dining room, with it's high ceilings, a little too noisy and lacking in intimacy but its undoubtedly been fitted out and decorated to a high standard and is pretty impressive. Likewise, the service was polite, friendly and efficient. So, the only thing that disappointed slightly was the food. We shared tapas for starters which were reasonable. For mains one had the belly pork which was actually the best dish and very nice. The Harissa lamb needed a sauce -- the dish was simply too dry without one. The fried buttermilk chicken just looked like a breaded chicken burger and chips - although apparently it tasted ok. It was all perfectly edible, and the decor is certainly impressive, its just that we all left thinking it could have been slightly better.

Went for my birthday in the evening, could have been because it was a busy bank holiday sunday night but my main concers were it was very loud, you could'nt hear yourself think over the music. Which when you wanted a nice family meal was'nt quite what we ordered. My other half did ask the waitress if it could be turned down but she just rolled her eyes as if to say good luck with that one. The service also was very slow and trying to keep catch the waitresses eye was nigh impossible. It was a shame really as i have been very impressed with the place when i have been in at lunchtimes several times. Maybe the night time vibe is different but can't say I liked it. On the plus side the food was very good, there is a great array of drinks to choose from some of the cocktails sound very exotic I had the cherry bakewell one which was very nice. The staff were very pleasant just a bit rushed off their feet. In retrospect I would go for brunch or in an afternoon but not probably ona night again. I do love the decor and the ambience.
