Restaurant was not very busy when I took the kids. Interior was clean and tidy. Staff member on till was approachable and friendly. My order was prepared quickly and tasted great. Kids were happy with their meals and that says a lot because they won't eat anything that doesn't look or taste as it should. Very pleased overall hence the 5 stars.

The chicken was fab, boneless fillets, hot, fresh, delicious! ... but was very disappointed by 2 issues while being served! 1- A delivery driver, possibly Uber Eats or Just Eat/ Deliveroo???!! Was very rude to the staff, moaning for them to hurry up and do their jobs! Out of order! Not his employer or staff! Disgusting behaviour. 2- The way a member of KFC staff spoke to his colleague! Name:Matt! V v rude, disrespectful and patronising, unprofessional. A smile or kind word would not go amiss. If it made me feel uncomfortable as a customer and cross, imagine how your colleague felt! Think!! Respect!! Apologise!! Customer Service Skills!! You were just very attitudy and stroppy, no need for it, we all have bad days but it was a constant flow and the body language and attitude said it all!!

Really good service, placed a big order at drive through, meal brought out within minutes and staff waited out in the rain for me to check even though I insisted I trusted them. Then was happy to belt up the bag in the back! Amazing and will deffoes come again!!

I went here quickly for the bathroom and to charge my car at the rapid charger. If it wasn't for the charger then I wouldn't have heard about this place. Toilets are tiny and aren't the cleanest. Great that the place is a HFA approved halal restaurant though 👌🏽 inclusivity in the community is key and this is a great example of that!

Outstanding chicken strips and popcorn chicken, spicy chicken is great, not too keen on the boned chicken but thats personal preference. chips are meh, I preferred the old chips then the new ones. Sauces are great taste and consistency.

Generally speaking with KFC it's the same throughout the UK, the difference is the service and this one hasn't let me down! Went on a busy Saturday evening, the drive-thru line was out to the roundabout and inside (where I ordered was busy too) they still managed to get me my order in around 5 mins. Fresh and hot! 👌🏾

We went here after been at the cinema nearby at around 10pm. So it wasn't busy but we still had to wait a fair but of time for our food. In looking around the place it didn't look very clean. The serving areas and on the floor under the counters were all covert with food that had dropped (mainly chips). The tables felt sticky as if not cleaned very well. The food was hot and tasted ok but I was put off by the untidy appearance. I would have expected better from such a busy KFC usually.

Brilliant service from Jacob on the counter at this KFC today, he is great! The food was quick and really nice, nicer than other KFC’s I’ve been to.

Food served is very hit or miss and family buckets tend not to include thighs or drumsticks unless you mention. Only local halal KFC otherwise would consider switching.

Customer service was the highlight of my visit which sounds bad but it's really a compliment to the woman on the counter. She was warm and friendly, honest that the pepsi was off in taste and ask if it was okay for me to switch to a pepsi max which I appreciated. Food wasn't piping hot and was more warm so was great to dig into immediately but it won't please everyone. Burger was rushed as it was a bit lopsided which wasn't great. Fries are okay, a minor improvement over the previous style. The mini fillet burger was good all round and surprisingly filling.

I have to say, this KFC has let me down more than once. Nothing to do with the chain store, which I must say is excellent and affordable in its products and prices. In this particular store I've witnessed not a very good welcoming and support from staff. I have felt almost left to myself and treated almost as if they were doing me a favour and not I them as a customer. I use it because it's nearer to me, not because it's better than other shops of the same name. I will be looking out for changes. It used to be a nice little place for family and groups.

The KFC was really nice, there food was fresh and the staff were friendly. One thing that was bad is that one of the staff drags the chairs to rearrange them causing a horrible screeching sound to occur. But appart from that the experience was easily 4 stars.

I like eating here; the food is hot, the people serving are polite and helpful, it's nice it's halal (I have been to KFCs in the past where bacon got in to my food when I hadn't asked for it. When you don't eat bacon this is unsettling ~ so it's good to know it can't happen here). The inside is clean, when I have been at weekends and evenings I can find a table to eat at. Toilets were clean and stocked with paper and soap. I would have given the extra star but for the longer than normal wait for the drive through (although not the longest time I have waited but longer than some at around 8min) we also find they run out of some food and the Krushum machine doesn't work a few times. Overall I would recommend.

Found this place to be hit and miss. It used to be well managed with the staff well trained and on top of the job. However, the last few visits have been a let down. The Service was slow, the staff did not show any pride in their work and it was hard to find an empty clean table due to previous customers being too lazy to take their trays back. The floor also had dropped food on it and the bins had not been emptied. Since this review, the place underwent another facelift. Looks better but they still have lazy customers failing to clear their tables.

Near to office, there are self service kiosks. Waiting time depends on the crowd. Generally fast service. KFC has brought a bunch of healthy options and vegan options which is great in taste.

We used to go and still went a few days ago mainly because of Halal certified fast food place but unfortunately every time we are visiting, more and more disappointing the place is: 1. Always in a very poor condition regarding cleanliness of the dine in place. 2. Food quality is also mediocre. 3. Staff is rude 4. Always missing plenty of things like wipes, ketchup, tissue papers and if you ask the staff, they will show a lot of attitude as you are asking for any donations. 5. Wash rooms are in an ugly shape. Very very disappointing. I would request Derby city council to take some action.

It can get super packed and it's clean and the service is usually quick. 3 stars only because kfc is in their limited menu right now so I can give more because they aren't serving any of my favorite foods (the Wraps and rice bowls) due to this. Very nice staff and good food. One thing I did notice was at 11pm while waiting for my food a group came in and was turned away being told it closed at 11pm - but online it says it closes at midnight. This is not the case. Just a heads up! ☺

Mixed feelings feelings about this one but i think mainly negative. Firstly, due to local area the restaurant doesnt serve bacon and there is no signs telling you this. So if you craving a big daddy or any other meal with bacon I'd suggest going to a different restaurant. Cleanliness is also mixed bag, mostly OK but often tables are dirty, trays/food left on the tables and just doesnt feel like you want to eat there. This all usually when it is not busy so I cannot imagine what happens at peak times. 2 out of my 3 visits I had to wait for 10 minutes for my food to be ready. That is with only 3 people in front of me. Popping in on the 30min break and eating in a rush is not a good experience.

Drive thru queues are a nightmare & forever getting my orders wrong & i have also heard staff members talking to other staff members in a very unprofessional manner. Burgers & wraps are nice but i find the buckets of chicken are way too greasy!

Halal approved sign on door and KFC website. Food nice. Self service machines available for card only. Cash and card available at till. Range of hot and cold drinks available. Rewards KFC app available which you can use at restaurant. Male and female toliet available. Female toliet looks newly refurbished however feels small and hard to walk in and out of. Free ketchup and barbecue sauces in sachets available, hand wipes, tissues and straws. Drive thru available. And click and collect.

Very slow service only went because pizza hut had an hour wait but we waited almost an hour for our food here anyway. When received parts of the meals we ordered was missing but we couldn't be bothered to wait again for the items

Sometimes this place get very busy that you have to wait 50 mins to eat. They will give you extra fries or popcorn with your order. These workers certainly know how to work under pressure. 👍

Food was great, restaurant tables were clean! I come in everyday for lunch and see no problems. Spoke to the lass on the tills, she's a lovely gal. Can't see why people have to complain about any mess, if there ever is any it's either super busy so they can't get around to cleaning. I guess they would but people are complaining because their food ain't coming out fast enough. You wouldn't think it because of the reviews, but this KFC is the 10th best KFC restaurant in the country. The drive thru is always packed so you have to think about that. Before anyone has any sarccy replies, McDonald's have two windows so it's quick and easy to get food, KFC only have the one. All in all, best restaurant for me. Also there is no bacon because it's the only Halal selling KFC in Derby..so obviously there is no bloody bacon, go across the road to maccies if it's such a life problem.
