Amazing pizza, lovely friendly staff. Whilst getting the drinks for the table was initially a bit slow, this wasn't anyone's fault as it seemed they were short on staff, which is happening in a lot of places due to the rising covid infections. Would highly recommend 👌

One of Derby's best hidden gems. After finishing just a few slices, Pizzeria Da Alessia easily cemented itself as one of my favourite places to eat in Derby. The staff are super friendly and the pizza is phenomenal. Incredibly authentic Italian pizza which completely blows the local competition out of the water. There's really no reason to eat pizza anywhere else in Derby.

Me, my Mum and my partner stopped in here after walking round trying to find somewhere to eat late at night (around 11pm) and thought it was just a little takeaway place. To our delight the restaurant owner revealed that there was an actual place to sit in upstairs and re-opened it for us. We ordered our pizzas and I am lactose intolerant so I asked if they did vegan cheese and lo and behold they served me a pizza with the best vegan mozzarella I have ever tasted. The pizzas tasted wonderful, the restaurant part was decorated beautifully. And the tables even had lovely authentic Italian olive oil to put on the pizzas. ***** Service ***** Pizza

So many takeaways promise to give true Italian pizza but never deliver that. This takeaway changes that and I'm so pleased I've finally found a takeaway so close to home that tastes like true Italian takeaway. Ordered 4 times since discovering this place recently and they are 1000% the best pizza in Derby. Beautiful dough with proper sauce and mozzarella. The Marinara is to die for and I highly encourage you to try it. True Italian menu with all the things I love and miss in Italy, Bellissimo!

I really recommend this place. The pizza is simply amazing. The dough feels great with a lovely char from the oven, the tomato sauce is of good quality and so is the mozzarella. The toppings didn't disappoint at all, and I believe that the price is great especially for the services offered. Will definitely come back to this place.

Well, it has been two weeks that I was passing through this new pizzeria, and I have said to myself, I will give it a try, so we took two pizzas (Tonnara and quattro Formaggi) we didn't regret it and it was delicious. Perfect pizza, the texture and the dough are just amazing. The quality/price ratio is unbeatable, nothing to compare with other junk pizzerias. Keep the quality high, you're doing well!

I grew up in Italy until I moved to the UK at the age of 20, about 5 years ago, and since then I have not found a place that makes a pizza as authentic as Pizzeria Da Alessia in the UK. Italian pizza might not be for everyone, especially when you are used to Domino's and Pizza Hut, but if you're someone like me who has been desperately looking to have a REAL Italian pizza, or even if you're in the mood to try something new, I highly recommend trying one from the classic menu. The range and quality of toppings they use is far far bigger and better than any other place I've ordered from in recent years, and the price is very very affordable and fair. Please give these guys a shot, they are clearly working very hard to bring a different and better experience to the extremely stale and uncreative pizza industry in the UK. A quick look at the menu will show you how much more choice they offer! This company at 11pm at night was welcoming and even reopened the restraunt upstairs so we could sit in and get some really lovely italian style pizza, they even had vegan cheese for my lactose intolerant daughter who said it was the best she had tasted! 5* all round
