S. K.Food was very good, I ordered a salad granary cob which was cheese, red onion chutney and leaves cob and a latte which was really nice.
My dad and brother had chicken and stuffing soft white roll and you get plenty of filling which they really enjoyed.
Clean area and the salad bowls looked really nice.
Would be great if there were tables and chairs outside as there were only two stools inside because it's a small place. Would have liked to have sat nearby to eat it.
Each roll was under £4 which was great Would visit again
N. B.Fantastic little shop for a take away lunch. Had an excellent box salad lunch with a beautiful frittata plus a superb gooey banane nutella cake slice. Will definitely call back in when next in Derby.

M. O.Absolutely brilliant! We had the Steak and Ale pie which was top notch, it came with the sort of gravy I would lick off a shirt the next day if I found I’d spilt some. We also had dauphinois potatoes, which were garlic and cream perfection. They said it was for 4, but you could def serve 6 with it unless you’re a really fat badger. All for £30!! You could probably do better, but not for that price! Best money I’ve spent since I got a gravy stained shirt off eBay for a tenner and found a fiver in the pocket.

C.thought i would share my review with you, working on derby silk mill at present, site team told me about this little outfit called Portobello just up on the high street. got to say i've visited twice this week, and must say how impressive the food here is. had a new yorker today and it was unbelievable, regards to the shop staff, very pleasant, and a pleasure to meet nice people from being out of town. a credit to derby......:)
S. J.Never normally leave reviews, but sometime make exceptions. Went here for a sandwich today. Roast chicken, stuffing and cranberry sauce (well actually I subbed the cranberry sauce for mustard because I’m a weirdo).
