y.Arrived much quicker than estimated, very polite delivery. The monster seafood sushi was out of this world deliciousness and a very good size. My chicken yakisoba was a very generous portion and flawless and the gyōzas were perfect. Will be ordering again!
A. N.A lovely new addition to the Derby food scene, delicious home style cooking and a good drinks selection.
The menu is simple and well thought out, and everything we tasted was great.
Competitively priced, we shared starters, then had mains and a drink for ~£16 per person.
At the time of writing this review it is cash only, so go prepared. There is also a vacancy within, so I'd suggest letting the proprietor know when you arrive if you've a train to catch in the immediate future.
Once those two minor inconveniences are ironed out (and that is all they are, minor inconveniences) I'd love to see this restaurant go from strength to strength.
P.Having only just opened, I was very excited to try out this cafe. as I'm quite a big fan of Japanese food. It was absolutely amazing. The beef donburi was so tender, edamame beans were perfectly cooked and wonderfully seasoned. I'll also add to the other review praising the Goyza. I look forward to visiting again in the not too distant future!
