Great food and service, had a great meal out with family and friends for a friends daughters birthday today, thank you to our waitress Karine, she was fantastic

I enjoyed my dining experience here. The burger was really good and was big. The place is cool and I loved the vibe inside. The food was good, but I found the sesame chicken a bit too sweet. The portion was massive though, so come here with an appetite! ;) they take American Express which is always a bonus. However, when I made the reservation online I chose to dine at the bar, and instead, I was seated at a table - I didn’t see anyone sitting at the bar so I’m not sure if it’s something to do with corona or whatever silly reason, so if it’s not available I don’t see why they let me book it on the website. Oh well. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Great food, and really impressed with the attention to allergies and diet requirements. One wish is that I think the new menu is distinctly lacking the Chicken Finger BLT - a true TGIs staple!

The staff member with the pigtails (young man) didn't even say hello or welcome us like you would expect when waiting at the entrance to be seated, not sure if he realises that a hello is quite key in customer service. There were yellow meal offer leaflets on the table for an offer that expired in March 2022.

The vegetarian burger here is the best in derby (well, the vegan burger but I have regular cheese on it as not vegan). My son says its the best burgers as well (he eats meat ) and my friend i always go with. Pricey, but we go for a treat every so often. This is our favourite place to eat at the moment. It would be five star but the wait is exceptionally bad, like the worst ever!!! Longest wait for food I've ever had anywhere and it's every time we've been. Think that needs addressing or they could loose customers as its in alot of the reviews. We love listening to the young waiter who goes around muttering some quality things to himself, he's totally on our wave length, love him. It wouldn't be the same without him.

Went on a very busy lunch time on a Friday, during school holidays. The food was good as usual, and the service, all things considered, was excellent. The waiting staff did not stop, and were still cheerful and attentive. A credit to the company. One of the main reasons for our repeat business.

Wasn't as a good experience as normal. The service wasn't the usual TGI experience. The food we saw waiting under the heat lamps for about 10 mins. Im aware it keeps it hot,. However keeping it hot isn't keeping it fresh. The food was nice, Just the service wasn't the standard we've experienced at previous TGI visits

The staff were following covid-secure procedures and they were very informative on how customers can keep themselves safe whilst at the restaurant. The service was very quick and staff would refill drinks (when you purchase a bottomless drink) on time and the food is prepared and presented pretty well. The restaurant spaces customers well and I would recommend this place for a good date night or a meal out with friends and family. I absolutely recommend.

Was seated very quickly on a Friday afternoon, the whole atmosphere was fun and lively. Great selection of food and drinks, some amazing looking cocktails! Staff were very friendly, I especially appreciated our server Stevie for being so kind, fun and helpful! The good was great, really loved it and will be returning!

Visited for my sisters birthday 08-01-22. Food was delicious and the deserts are to die for! Our waitress was a lovely lady named Cara. She was absolutely fantastic, friendly and welcoming. She engaged with us throughout our stay, checked to make sure we was okay and refilled our drinks promptly. We even got the staff to do their legendary tgi happy birthday sing along 😂Absolute credit to the team, well done Cara and staff

After a bit of a rocky start to our meal (waiting for a staff member to take us to a table for a considerable amount of time, calling to one in the restaurant with their reply being "I'm not on duty yet") we actually had a great time. The staff member dealing with us was fun, informative, fast and friendly. The food was lovely filling, well presented and came out quite fast. I had the fajita shredded half duck and my other half had a double burger stack. The only gripe that I really have is that the booth seats are very low against the table which makes eating quite awkward for a small person so next time I'll ask to sit on one of their chairs rather than being placed in a booth.

I visited on 3rd January. The food was really good but the service was painfully slow. We were not offered desserts and paid our bill with a table of dirty plates in front of us after waiting for 5 minutes. Drinks were slow to arrive and the starters were not cleared until the mains were ready. Personally I wouldn't rush back. There are better dining options within spitting distance.

Stopped in here on our way home from Leeds. Its exactly what you expect from the TGI's chain. Had the 2 course meal deal which was ok & not badly price for the 2 meals.

Service was abit slow. Food wasn't as good as it used to be. Cleanliness is a bad point as there was food still on the table. Basic cleanliness would help massively, proper table and seat cleaning, clean condiment bottles and give the menus a wipe. And could do with some repairs around in the toilets.

We booked a table for peak dining time for our anniversary and Hayley A made our experience amazing. I’ve not met someone yet who has nailed customer service quite like Hayley A. Truly superb! She has ensured that we were comfortable throughout our meal, friendly, approachable and professional throughout and an all around joy to talk to. Had a meal today around noon. Burger, chips and a refill. Overall service we average. The girl serving us was lovely, asked us about food allergies and was very professional. Food came after around 45 min which I think is a bit slow considering there weren't many people at the time of our arrival. Good burger, fries weren't salted though. I think that for me to go back again there, TGI would need to improve on delivering food times and value for money.

Been here twice and it's already one of my favourite places to eat. The atmosphere in the place is really nice and has a nostalgic feel. The food is amazing - the ultimate ribs is my favourite choice. The service is also really good and one server in particular, I believe her name is Hayley A, who is always very nice and comes over and has a chat with us - she recognised me and my friend when we were there last week when the time before that was well over a month ago and she made us feel very welcome.

I love the Derby TGI and I have been coming in for a very long time, the staff are always very friendly, kind, hard working and will always give you wonderful customers services. The manger is doing a great job and the staff really love their jobs and it shows in the beautiful food that comes to y and often I asked their advice on food and drinks and they always make great suggestion. And I love the choices I make. The Halloween costume the staff were wearing may I say is brilliant, I loved the chatters they dress up in Joke, and so many others. Might I say the cocktail Halloween Darren suggested was top class. Tgi in Derby are always an prime example of such a clean, excellent place I call my home. ' Darren was very friendly and made my experience very rewarding. it was very busy and he was very good at helping me out, and servicing other guest. He is very passionate in helping others and like many great staff like Jade, Haye and Whitney, sinita . He is a great example of the brilliant service you get from TGI Derby. Darren keep up the great work and the staff are always first class. '

Myself and some friends, all of us with 1 year olds, came to TGIs today. The staff were absolutely amazing. They made some balloon animals and gave them to our kids, they asked if we wanted the kids meals out as quick as possible even if ours wasn't ready- just perfect! They were all so friendly and interacted with our kids. All staff wore masks too. We all hadn't been there in years, but would definitely go again soon because of the lovely staff! (The food was really good too!)

Pandemic safe service at its best... Really was great service...warm, friendly, regular check ins to see if you needed anything else, but not too often to avoid it becoming annoying. They noticed when your glass was empty, and straight over to refill (for free on soft drinks). Great spacing between tables, and even though we didn't book, we didn't have to wait long even on a Saturday. Well done TGIs 👏🏻👍🏻

Great experience and good food. We moved from the US and this place makes us feel like home. The only tip for your staff is PLEASE take the order for the kids first and put it separately in your POS. If not, the kids will be waiting until the adult food is ready. Apart from that, all good.

Brilliant service, my husband has a mild sesame seed allergy. When they came to take the order they asked if we had any allergies. They then brought the manager over to discuss our options and assured us that our food would be checked and dealt with by the manager. I would highly recommend. Went to celebrate my daughters birthday. Food was great, portions were good and we didn't wait too long for it to come. Whitney was our waitress and she was absolutely lovely! She brought a slice of cake for my daughter and when my youngest told her it was her birthday too "in 10 days" she brought her some cake too. It made my 6 year olds day! Visited during 'Eat out to help out late August 2020'. Very good systems in place for hygiene and social distancing. Staff in visors, lots of space and out of use tables as a result. Didn't feel crowded, reduced menu during pandemic but still good choice, quick attentive service and great food. Three courses served and done well within the hour. We booked in advance of course and were in and seated well before our allotted time.

Big party of 13. We all arrived at different times and were promptly seated. Drinks orders taken quickly but took ages to arrive. I was disappointed with the food - my burger and fries were cold when they arrived so must have been sat out a while. All of our food did arrive together though, so this was good, but was also probably the reason why my burger was cold. The burger itself was nothing special and overpriced for what I got, hence the disappointment. However, the service was excellent - Jordan looked after our table and was brilliant!

I've never really been a fan of TGI's but everywhere else was absolutely packed and this was the only place which could seat us straight away and boy am I glad they could. The waitress was absolutely fantastic with us and especially with my 3 young daughters. Food was amazing and they had a gluten free menu for my husband. Food and drinks arrived in a good time. My only gripe was that the baby changing room had poop smeared all over the toilet seat, God knows how this happens, but it's fine as we took the girls to the adults toilets. We will definitely be going back again!

Very friendly staff in general, our server was especially patient with our very excitable 4 year old. Food was delicious, and we were impressed at the separate menu and care taken when catering for my partner's food allergy. Cannot fault them at all but while we enjoy the music some may find it noisy.

It was a little slow from walking in to someone greeting us to seat us, it was busy so took a little while to get the food out. Food was good and we would want to try again. Been here first time, the atmosphere was great (I wouldn't recommend if you're wanting a quiet chill vibe) the staff were friendly and made you feel right at home as well as the food being spot on and not bad for the price at all! I guess the downside if any is the place can be quite busy so seating may not be ideal but either way it's a nice place to go. If it's your birthday, they'll sing a mighty song for you.

The last time we visited we had a fantastic time. Jay the waiter was amazing; we enjoyed his company, he helped us if we needed it, he made sure everything was okay. We could not have asked for better service. I would definitely recommend to come here as we have started to go more regular now. The food is delicious and the staff are great. I can't fault the restaurant or staff in any kind of way. We will definitely be coming back!

Nice venue and pleasant welcoming staff. But service slow. Our starter initially went to the next table and when it finally arrived had obviously been standing under the heat lights for a while as it was wizened & dry. The ordering system needs sorting as both adjacent tables were served first and had arrived sometime after us. I had 16oz rib eye steak for my main, that was cooked to perfection.

But I dont like it when there is visible dust on the silver detail/ridges on the columns. this is just above table and is easily reachable! Seeing this Just above your food while eating not Nice. Cant believe a member of staff hasn't seen this! Also the cutlery was covered in water Mark's to the point I couldn't tell if it was clean or not!.. I will be returning as you do amazing chicken but hopefully the time you have not serving is used to clean the place better. It's the simple things that count! :)

Went to eat here once and it was cool. A woman serving me was nice and it was a pleasure to look around the retro decorations, with a personal favourite of mine being a Back to the Future poster. I assume every T.G.I Friday's is adorned with pop culture hang-ups, but this one got it right nevertheless. A burger I ordered wasn't anything to shout about, but acceptable. Overall, a nice set-up.

One of my favourite restaurants. They like to crouch a lot at your table. Sometimes it takes a while to get a drink refill so if you order spicy or dry food you can begin to feel a little desperate, sucking on ice cubes.

One of my favourite places to go and eat, I'm usually a creature of habit so won't stray too far from what I know food wise but I've tried nearly all the burgers on the menu and they're all delicious, also if you like steak I suggest the tomahawk, 30oz of meat on what seems like a mile long bone, a little pricy at almost £30 but worth it! A restaurant I will continue to frequent for as long as it remains open

Really nice food but a bit expensive. I would recommend this as a one off but not a place I would visit frequently. It's only a bit of a pet peeve but the straws they give you fall apart and brake up when you drink through them. I think they good be better off using something metal or maybe a more recyclable plastic.
