We went there for a family champagne breakfast as part of my wife's birthday celebrations. There were six of us all mostly having different dishes. All were excellent; as was the service. Will definitely not leave it another twenty years before we go again!

Excellent experience. Just wandered into the courtyard cafe and warmly welcomed when I asked for a glass of water. Stayed for a first rate coffee with a slice of fruit cake added. Delightful and hope to return soon.

We had Sunday lunch a three course meal was £30 ,the meals were lovely and hot ,the staff were friendly ,the place was lovely and clean ,I would recommend going for a special occasion ,the only down side was they was no vegetarian option

Ok. Food was nice. Service a bit slow at times. A large party were seated next to us and we didn't really feel the restaurant was particularly covid friendly for vulnerable patrons. No masks were worn by staff, which I appreciate isn't a legal requirement, however staff needed to lean over us to serve the food, so too close really. We're not rushing back, although I know many others do enjoy this place.

A Champagne breakfast without comparison! The food was so delicious. The service was wonderful and the procedures put in place to keep everyone safe were exemplary. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Such a good range of choices and all so yummy. Please book ahead and order yourself a Christmas treat. We all had a fabulous time here and will be back.

Food was excellent. It was my first time here and I are from the dinner menu. They also offered a street food menu which you could pick and choose from which was husband did. All n all, we had a parfait and beetroot risotto to start, venison curry and duck for main and a chocolate and raspberry, and sticky toffee pudding desserts. Cannot fault the experience in any way.

The service was excellent and the food was good but I think it's slightly overpriced (eg £4 for a bottle of water). It's a cosy place with an ok atmosphere but considering it was busy it lacked a buzz.

Went for the Champagne Brunch and was not disappointed. Fabulous food - great choice on the breakfast menu, and great quality of ingredients. The service was very good, and the only thing that stops it getting 5 stars is the fact that only one of the staff seemed to have the authority to take orders and payments, so things took longer than they should. All the rest of the staff were pleasant and well trained, so really not sure why they are only allowed to deliver food and clear tables.

What a wonderful experience it was today visiting The Bay Tree Restaurant the welcome from the staff was excellent and the service was great, the staff was attentive friendly and helpful and of course the food was excellent. Myself and my wife and two wonderful friends one of whom was his 50st birthday we all went for a Champagne and Prosecco breakfast and having never experience anything like this before it was wonderful and hopefully we can repeat it again in the future. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who would like to do something different and go to somewhere that you guarantee service at its very best, keep up the good work management and staff 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿

Wonderful food and service every time. Look out for the gin nights that roll around from time to time too - a great chance to dabble with a few exotic or lesser known brands, expertly mixed by the knowledgeable bar manager for that personal touch.

Fantastic little restaurant, went here for my father in laws 60th. we wanted some canapes before the meal these were cated for and very nice. main meal nice also. owner very helpful as we were struggleing to get a taxi home but he managed to get one within 1/2 hour
