Had the classic breakfast. It was a mid level price for the area and had some interesting twists. Overall it was a tasty breakfast but with a few improvement that could have been made. The service was great and the staff were lovely. The areas of improvement for me would be slicing the black pudding thicker as mine was quite thin. Having the option to choose regular sausages rather than herbal ones.

Wonderful warm welcome. Good service. Although we only had a drink and a cake were impressed with the taste of everything. Spotlessly clean and deserving of 5 star hygiene. It's a little gem. Will use again if ever in the area.

Absolutely fabulous breakfast. Friendly staff and great service. Worth mentioning the sausages are herby and meaty. Clearly great quality sausages and not the cheap ones you often find. Thick cut toast with proper butter too. Very reasonably priced and must say best cafe breakfast I've had in Derby! Highly recommended and looking forward to revisiting for the Caribbean food!

They say "the proof of the pudding is in the eating"... However, as far as this cafe is concerned it is more. Seemingly much more!. What attracted me as a "passer by", was the hygiene and cleanliness of everything the eye could see. The metaphorical refrain "you could eat your dinner off the floor" would not be lost as I was confident that the attention to detail with the most important aspect any food establishment was it's saftey. I only had time to enjoy tea and will be looking to return with confidence that I will not be disappointed. The staff were super friendly and as it was not busy at the time, they took the time to explain their plans to make it an exceptional customer experience. Customer focus is the bedrock of a successful business and embracing it as a passion will make the difference between success and failure if it remains consistent. Consistency is everything and that is the challenge. Looking forward to my next visit.

Unity Cafe is a lovely little placed tucked neatly away in Alvaston. A beautiful and vibrant little cafe with a great menu, very friendly staff and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The prices are very very reasonable. Would totally recommend.

Really nice cafe serving a variety of delicious food! I've had a full English, eggs benedict, bagel and pancakes from here and they have all been delicious. Good customer service and friendly staff too!

Ordered twice from here now for home delivery and it is the best cafe food I've had my entire life. I'd really try the brownies - nice big portion and really good. On the second time, the cafe rang up almost instantly after receiving the order to say that a menu item wasn't available. A similar item was suggested. If you're in Derby and you're not trying Unity Cafe, you're missing out.

Fantastic experience! My sister & I took our friend for her first time & she was so impressed by the warm welcome & friendly atmosphere! Clean & presentable with some lovely artwork that depicted the Cafè's well chosen name of 'Unity'!! We were spoilt for choice with their tasty menu selection which included a Caribbean menu in addition to their English menu at competitive prices! But don't take my word for it, go and visit Unity Cafè yourself, trust me, you won't be disappointed!! Would highly recommend this delightful cafè & award it a well deserved 5🌟 rating!!

This is a simple cafe which does basic good food at a great price. The people who work here are so welcoming and i watched as all the regulars got a nice greeting- some even a hug. I'm new to the area and felt the people who come to the cafe was part of something- like the centre of a community. The cafe is a little gem and I will be a regular visitor once I move. Well Done!!
