If your looking for delicious vegan food then give them try. Fantastic coffee too. Off the beaten track but worth walking past Costa and Starbucks to get to them.

This is one of our favourite places to come for lunch and a warm vegan drink. Being gluten and dairy free I know I can always rely on Vedi. Their matcha latte is one of the best in Derby. It's a relaxed environment and our children enjoy coming here too.

I visit regularly, and am always greeted with a smile. The food is wonderful and they have options for vegan or dairy ingredients on many of their dishes. Service can sometimes be a little slow but that's to be expected as there's only two members of staff, and the food makes up for it!

Probably will use this place quite often. This place is in a brilliant location. Just out the way of the hustle and bustle of the city centre and nearby the train station. The coffee was good rich and tasty. Although the first one the milk curdled (almond milk). The cakes were brilliant I had a huge 😂Viennese whirl and sister had the cookie sandwich. Oh I should mention it’s all veggie 👌.

For a 1st time visit first impressions were excellent. Lovely warm ambience and relaxed comfortable atmosphere. We had hot chocolates and thankfully they were perfect. Hate a bad hot chocolate!!! We ordered the full monty vegan breakfast. Beautiful. Staff friendly and a credit to Derby this place. All in all a cute little find. Will be back and taking mum this time!!

In love with this place! Went there for breakfast whilst waiting for a train (it’s 5 min walk from the station) and was very impressed. Avocado on toast with chickpeas tomatoes and seeds was lovely, so flavoursome and really fresh ingredients. Lovely friendly staff and incredible value for money, will definitely be returning :)

I was spoilt for choice with food options when I visited. Everything is suitable for vegans and homemade. They even have a large selection of vegan cakes! It's really handy to get to, a quick walk from the train station, just outside of Westfield. A really lovely cafe.

An excellent choice of vegan and vegetarian dishes and desserts all served in the café or to take away in sustainable packaging. Just what Derby needs, a decent cafe with a social conscious. A nice space, with relaxed acoustic music playing. The menu has lots of options, all delicious sounding - the Rati Rap and spicy potato side was great. Really nice staff, highchairs available, and accessible toilet with changing table. Will visit again! Thanks :)

Really nice place, people and drinks. I had a smoothie which was superb. The place is excellently decorated and clean. The staff were overly accommodating and friendly. If you are visiting Derby I'd recommend parking at liversage st car park which is opposite and one of the cheapest. Then you could meet/start/finish in Vedi. Easy access into the intu centre. only a 1-2 minute walk.

Came here for lunch which was really nice. Staff are really nice and the food was lovely. We also felt the food was reasonably priced considering most vegan places massively over charge. We had the tofu Wrap, Chickpea Shawrma, smoothies, flapjack and cherry bakewell. Everything was so fresh and tasty. We would recommend.

Travelled from Birmingham so Dropped in for a pitstop, staff were super friendly and welcoming, gave the vegan Burger and super purple smoothie a try, both were spot on and tasted amazing, definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Derby. 5 star!!!

Nice & friendly service and an interesting Indian/British casual fusion menu. These are simple and tasty dishes - we enjoyed the burrito, curry wraps, and avo toast. Shakes were also nice. Seating is comfortable, atmosphere is modern easygoing. It did take about 30m for dishes to come out despite very few diners, I guess there was a lot of prep from scratch - just take that into account when visiting!

Great service and excellent food and drinks. This is the best Vegan restaurant anywhere and Derby is the anywhere of all anywhere. The staff were very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Visit this is a must.

Tried this new vegetarian and vegan cafe today. Well worth a detour to find if you're in. Derby City. I tried their roti rap with homemade veggie curry, served with a little salad, pickle and vegan yogurt. Good cake selection. The samosas & vegan sausage rolls looked good too.

The guy who served me was patient with me, I had no idea what I wanted and a bit of time to kill. Had a gorgeous orange, carrot and turmeric smoothie mixed with some peanut butter. Yum squared. I had something else that I can't remember, something falafel-y, but overall, good choice of food, nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Downside, I don't live anywhere near.

I really like Vedi. The roti raps are absolutely delicious. While the cafe has vegetarian and vegan options, dairy's available and you don't feel judged for choosing it (though the coconut yoghurt with the rap is awesome). The team are really friendly and seem to like being there. A nice addition to Derby's café scene. Oh and they should sell their lime pickle by the jar, it's superb.
