Always like this place and have been going for around 20 odd years. Always had good food, good service and at a good price. Only down side is that the decor hasn't changed in that time 😅

Both the food and service were fantastic! We had the buffet option which is not like a standard buffet. You can order as many dishes from a set menu as you'd like and they are all cooked fresh for only 17£. This is our top pick for Cantonese food in the city.

We went back to Zing Vaa again last Saturday. As usual the meal was superb. Beth was so busy but as always polite, friendly and helpful. One customer was complaining that his beef in black pepper wasn't the normal slice of beef. John the owner tried to explain that Chinese Restaurant Beef in black pepper isn't the same as in an English restaurant, which should be obvious to anyone eating in a Chinese restaurant lol. Always great food - never had a disappointing meal either eating in or take-away. They are lovely people too - even ran after me to give me some money as I had been accidentally charged the restaurant price for my take-away. Would definitely recommend.

Local gem. Particularly good Tofu. If you don't get the point of Tofu, try it here. Many other good things on the menu too whether you are veggie or carnivore.

Always lovely people, gorgeous food, their fried rice is AMAZING, love everything. They're very careful with their Covid arrangements - pick up from a distance in the carpark, spaced out collection times, masks. Everything excellent.

A friend treated us to a wonderful meal, She experimented with a dish she hadn't had before with ginger and pineapple. Beth was rushed off her feet as usual but Laura the waitress who was fairly new was amazing. They were busy, but the food was excellent. We would highly recommend Zing Vaa. They have some new items on the menu. John and Beth the owners make everyone feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble

My favourite Chinese restaurant around! My family and I visit here regularly and are never disappointed. Friendly/attentive service, amazing food and a clean, warm setting. My Mum, Sister and I all suffer from food intolerances/allergies and Beth and John (the owners) go above and beyond to modify any dishes they can to make them possible for us to have. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food, friendly service and an overall great experience for a meal out.

The restaurant is very clean and cozy. The waitress was Proffessional and welcoming but very dissappointed with the quality of the food . We ordered chow mein and I could barely eat it because the chef had put too much sauce and it tasted quite bitter .. the beef was also very old and not fresh . For such a highly priced menu the meat should be fresh and prepared well .. I can not justify the quality of the food to the cost .. not a good experience unfortunately .

Beautifully fresh cooked food, we chose a set menu with a lovely selection of dishes. A little slow on service but not a major issue. As we went on a very quiet day. For a special occasion, perhaps they thought we would prefer a relaxed atmosphere. Very friendly staff. All of our party said we would definitely visit again!

Service was good. Very polite, refill on the tea, rice crackers at the start and fortune cookies at the end. However, the food wasn't as good - the portion of noodles was small, and rather burnt; Cantonese duck while tasty, was not prepared in the traditional way. Vegetables were fine.

Are here this evening and it really is amazingly good! All you can eat menu (available Tues/Wed/Thur/Sun?) is very good value and has a fantastic choice. Everything I tried was beautifully cooked - salt and pepper squid probably the highlight. Excellent service too. I reckon this is the best Chinese I've ever eaten in.
