we had the buffet option its available day or night just let them know when you walk in and they will bring menu. i took a pic of front only the back had all the mains on. nice restaurant. we ordered dishes to share but you can have your own portion too but we wanted less of each portion to try dif ones. the buffet option works where you pick off menu what you want and they keep bringing u as much as u want would go again!

All of a sudden decided to pop in for dinner at China Palace. We ordered the set dinner as it was a bit too pricey for two of us to individually order items. Also had the Chinese tea which really made us feel good. The appetisers at first really makes your tummy full. But being a foodie couple we could finish all the items. A total of £39 for two persons. Personally, I felt like it was a bit too high but the food was far better than any Chinese I ever had.

After reading good reviews on a popular Facebook group "Eating Out Around Doncaster" we decided to give China Palace a try. There were two menus available when we arrived at 3pm on a Sunday afternoon - £8.45 for 2 course - order one main, one appetizer & a choice or egg fried rice or chow mein OR the "Eat as much as you like banquet" £18 pp. We opted for the banquet. Good choice of dishes, all served fresh in a reasonable time. Restaurant was clean, staff were friendly and attentive. Resturant was quiet when we arrived but tables were filling up fast when we left at 5pm so I would recommend booking if you're planning an early evening visit. Really enjoyed our meal and can't wait to go again

Went Saturday night after racing at Doncaster. We went for the all inclusive buffet at £20 a head. You order your food as often as you want and each plate is cooked to order. Also you get a crispy duck Course. Lovely food and a good atmosphere in there.

Went on Thursday for the buffet menu. Amazing service as always and everything cooked fresh to order. Food is always nice and comes quickly, my only criticism is that we would come more if the meat in the main dishes were better quality. Would still recommend.

The place is dead during week. Been with my friends on Wednesday and we were the only one at 8pm. Ordered open buffet but you can't order another dish till you finish your meal... Also no desserts on this menu, too bad because other open buffets have sweets. Food was tasty, spicy meals not spicy at all. Price is decent. Waitresses were standing 1m away from our table, staring at us... Very uncomfortable and awkward. Give it a try but there are better places.

Went here last night with 9 people to celebrate a birthday. Cannot believe I've never been here before. Also cannot believe how big it is inside. Such great value for money and some of the best Chinese/Cantonese food I've ever tasted. We went for the banquet, which including a few drinks each only came to about £25 each. They just kept bringing dishes and dishes of food, all amazing. The maître d' Was very entertaining, but of a comedian. Made the night even more fun!! Visit this place, it's brilliant.

Decided to try as we were visiting Yorkshire Wildlife Park and fancied chinese. It doesnt look that great from outside but once inside the place is massive immaculate and modern. We were greeted by the barman and shown to a table instantly. As soon as we arrived a giant bowl of prawn crackers arrived. We decided to go for the all you can eat banquet which comes with a complementary crispy duck and pancakes starter. Our starters arrived within 2 minutes. We were dining with our three year old daughter and the staff ensured she was well catered for. Then we ordered a few main courses to share which again arrived very quickly. All the food was of a very high standard piping hot and not at all greasy. On top of this the service was outstanding and very child friendly. 100% would recommend to anyone. Wish we lived closer i would go all the time.

Me and my family are incredibly impressed by our experience today at the China Palace. Not only was the food delicious, well good, varied and in abundance - we also experienced a brilliant level of customer service. The cooking station at the back and the cook who we talked and joked to was a great addition and the meat the meat that he cooked was very tasty. Also, the manager who walked around the restaurant, talking and having a laugh with us definitely added to the service and the experience. Seriously recommended, brilliant inside, the food is nice and the service is amazing.

Casusl dining. Two menu's, one a lá carte with some different dishes including lamb; the other is a smaller menu where you can eat all you want - that's what the menu states. On a Saturday night the second menu was £20 per person. If you phone up, China Palace states this is the buffet menu, but you will not find a buffet. The meal begins with complimentary duck and pancakes, then you each choose one dish from the shorter menu. When you have eaten that, you order another dish, and so on. The food was fantastic, well cooked and colourful, really appetizing. The service was good, not overbearing nor used dishes left around for too long. A different style of buffet menu, but food cooked for you, like the a la carte menu; just one dish at a time. We really enjoyed our meal at China Palace and will definitely return.

Love this place, especially for the traditional dim sum menu. Can't get any more Chinese than that! You still have the option of a budget set menu or a more 'standard to British tastes' menu. I like to go all out on tripe, whelks and chicken feet. The dumplings and buns are to die for, especially the sweet ones. If you're feeling brave, try the congee with century egg. It's an acquired taste but my friends, who I took there for my birthday, hace fallen for it big time.
