Been a while since we last visited.not disappointed, friendly staff and quality food. We'll worth a visit and reasonably priced.

We ate here on Saturday night . Our rice was appalling and grey in colour and was supposed to be pilau rice . My Chicken Dhansak was so hot I took most of it home and had to add yoghurt to it to cool it down . The waiters appeared disinterested . All in all a disappointing dining experience .

Went here for a family meal to celebrate my nephews 21st birthday. Brilliant food, wonderful attentive staff especially Jimski 😁😁what a wonderful guy, he made our night. If you haven't tried it definitely give it a go..xx

Reason for only 3 stars is I had a meal to take away, it was luke warm 😒 plus the dish wasn't what it usually is they must have used a different sauce and just added spice to it. Usually this is my favorite Indian restaurant . The customer service when I picked up wasn't great either. I think I'll be looking for a new place from now on.

Had lovely meal in pleasant surroundings. Good quality food with a depth of flavour to the spices. Went perfectly with the bottle of house red , a great reasonably priced wine. All good value too. We'll be back!

This is the second time I’ve been to Dower House and on both occasions we’ve felt rushed to eat our meal. On both times it’s started with the staff hovering around our table and looking at us even whilst we’re still eating. Then whilst your taking a breather or just having conversation they came over to take our plates away! Then as soon as I put my fork down, they came over again to clear the table and asked us to finish our drinks in the bar area to free up the table. The total time we had at our table was 1hr and 5mins. Food was nice but this has put me and a few other people I know off going again because they’ve shared the same experience before. Will go to Elachi next time.

A comfortable Indian restaurant with nice decor. Excellent, attentive service. Good menu which is far from the bog standard expected in an Indian restaurant. Kingfisher lager beer. Takeaway service but no delivery. I recommend it.

Nice restaurant with a good size menu, we both had one of the specials (one was a recommend from the waiter) no complaints on taste but the fairly hot was more like a Korma hot. Would go again, but probably ask for it to be a little hotter than 'advertised' worth a visit if your in the area for sure!

It was ok. Service was good and the food was ok but it wasn't as good as I was expecting or as good as I remember from several years ago. Nothing stood out and the bill was more than a generally good Indian meal would normally cost hence the rating. The food was tasty but not wow just very much general standard for an Indian restaurant there are many better restaurant's in the food department especially where taste and texture is concerned.
