Cannot recommend this place enough. We are never disappointed with the food. The chicken Kathmandu I had was so delicious and every one I was with was pleased with their meals. I regularly choose the Nepalese dishes as they are mild and full of flavour. The staff are friendly and welcoming. They were busy when we arrived but we were served in a reasonable time and didn't feel we were waiting too long. Give this small business a try. You won't be disappointed.

This place can range from pretty decent to mediocre depending on the day, but it's probably one of the better Indian restaurants/takeaways in Doncaster. The curries often range from being rather flavourful with decent quality meat to something that is less standout-y. Never ate in and only had takeaway, but generally speaking this place doesn't disappoint too often!

Quality food, Best Nepalese in town. Nice thick quality cuts of lamb and chicken from a local butcher and fresh vegetables used daily. Famously friendly and lovely owners/managers in the two brothers that run the place. I feel like a friend of the place when ever I go.

We have eaten here several times in the last year. The food and service is superb. This evening we asked for recommendations and as good as my food was I know my wife won, her Gurkha lamb was melt in the mouth delicious. On top of great mains the pickle tray is generous and tasty, the onion bhaji's are made to perfection and the staff are welcoming, friendly and knowledge. Our eldest enjoyed the chicken tikka and our youngest loved the chicken nuggets (we are working on him!) If only we had started eating here years ago!

Astonishingly good food, pleasant, friendly staff, appropriately dressed very smart. Reasonable prices (a bit dearer than Chinese but always is and is well worth it) The restaurant is well decorated and cosy, plenty of on street parking nearby. Overall bloody brilliant.

Very yummy food! Great place to have Indian food, if you live locally (or even if you choose to travel). Price is a little bit higher than usual takeaways but this place is also a restaurant. Food quality is also high therefore this also reflects in the price. Me and my partner thoroughly enjoyed it and will defiantly order again and once able to dine in the restaurant too :)

Fantastic, my partner is not keen on indian take away as it can be too salty but this was delicious and now our take away of choice. We ordered veg curry with no veg, chicken madras, pilau rice, mushroom rice garlic naan and starters. It was all amazing looking forward to being able to have a meal in!

Tried this restaurant out for the first time last Saturday. Always a bit wary when I haven't been before but was really pleased that we gave it a go. The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. Relatively new restaurant. Food is fantastic. The service is very welcoming. This place could easily justify charging far more for it's food than it does. It's not particularly big inside. It only has a few tables. Wait times are normally about 20mins for main courses to arrive from time of order. Can't recommend this place highly enough.

This place is fantastic, the food is excellent (no long waits), the staff are lovely, polite and can't do enough for you and the prices are extremely reasonable. Plus if you're driving although they don't have a car park, there are a couple of places in front of the restaurant, there is plenty of parking on Danum Road immediately after it I WILL be returning!!!

I'm a visitor in these parts and I was looking for something interesting for dinner so, why not a Gurkha curry. I am a curry lover but I am often dissapointed by the samey taste of generic curry sauces and over cooked meat. What a surprise I had at the Kurkha Lounge. The sauce had a lovely flavour, which was different from the run of the mill. The chicken was succulent and far from the ussual dry fair. Enough about my dinner. Suffice to say that it was very nice. The chap who served me was polite too. Winner!
