I don't normally like putting reviews but I feel this would mean people miss out this gem . Excellent food and really large portions. I would definitely recommend this Chippy . The staff is friendly and the fish was very fresh. I would definitely come back next time. Really impressed.

First time in 18mths we have visited 😊 and I have to say we were very impressed 👏 it's the best we've tasted in a long time so would highly recommend and we will be back soon 😀 we had large cod and it beat us lol 😆 so next time it will be a medium.

They offer a brilliant vegan menu but all of the food there is outshined by the friendliness of the staff. Warm and polite to their customers, would recommend a visit. In fact, the only reason I'm here is because I was checking opening times to go back today 😂

Roberts golden cod the best fish and chips in South Yorkshire I first started going to the beckett rd shop for my mother and brother jack both passed over they only had cod not chips and peas the shop and Robert and staff really good shop very clean at all times I. Did taxis for a while customer's would ask me for good fish and chips I would take them to Roberts shop in armthorpe! They rated Roberts golden code full 5 stars I moved to Sheffield in 2005/6! I moved back to doncaster 2007 and found out Robert had a shop Auckley I. Had a drive and Robert remembered me! I've yet to try them.but.will I.
