Great Argentinian steak restaurant, good selection of starters and mains, cocktails beers and wines. The steaks were all cooked perfectly for our 7 person party, the chicken burger main was really moist and tasty, empinadas were lovely. Service was excellent, fast, friendly, attentive and professional. Prices were very reasonable and we all had a great night.

Just wow! I have not had a meal this good for years! I have already been recommending la Boca to others. Lively atmosphere on a Friday night which is nice. Staff are very attentive, you are not waiting long for food or drinks. Cocktails in zombie glasses 🤣 Huge portions of food with attention to detail on the flavours. Vegetarian option was superb and we will definitely be returning!!!!

Family meal of 10 and have to say by far the best and most attentive service i have received in a very long time. Quality of the food was exceptional and the entertainment provided (a magician), was brilliant. Most definitely revisit again and would definitely recommend!

My first visit and also my birthday so treated myself even though it was more than I would usually pay. Hadn't booked but still got a table even though it was busy. Staff were very friendly and attentive and it wasn't a long wait for drinks and food. On the whole the food was good, had an appetiser and starter, then a mixed grill for the main, however I wasn't happy with the quality of some of the meat, found it fatty and gristly, had to discard half the sirloin. A complimentary prosecco for my birthday and an apple sour shot.

The whole experience was superb, friendly professional staff, wonderful atmosphere, great drinks, but the food, the food is off the charts. Forget the run of mill Steak House chain places, the steak just melts, the lamb as soft as you like, those meat parcels, every element was just spot on. Can not thank you enough for a wonderful evening.

Me and my girlfriend went in for dinner after the races and we had not booked. The staff were excellent even whilst dealing with someone that was causing issues for them. We were politely asked to sit and have a drink and wait for a table. We only waited around 15 minutes in this bustling little restraunt. It was worth the wait, the food was amazing and the service was even better. Will be going back on our next trip to the races and we will be booking a table. Keep up the excellent work guys.

I phoned earlier in the week to book a table for Saturday evening at 8.30pm fof 4 people. We arrived at 8.30pm to find the bar area packed with lots of people waiting. We were offered a table in the bar area at 8.45pm, but declined it due the proximity and large number of people amassed around the table. We were told that we would have to wait longer if we wanted a table inside the restaurant. We finally got served at the bar at 8.55pm, and shown to our table at 9.15pm. We ordered a variety of appetizers, starters & main courses. However, more confusion when the starters arrived before the appetizers! We questioned it, the waitress disappeared into the kitchen and then returned with the same starters and we were told they would all be served together! However, the appetizer sharing platter didn't appear until the starters were all consumed! We asked for some water for the table, it didn't arrive and we had to ask again for some. We were served the lemon sorbet palate cleanser, and then our main courses arrived. All the food was outstanding and we thoroughly enjoyed it. When our bill arrived, the manager i believe it was, came over to apologise for the poor service, and had omitted one of the appetizers from the bill as a goodwill gesture. This was welcomed although we hadn't asked for it. We suggested they take less bookings in future and concentrate on delivering better service to their customers, as the food itself is delicious. I would visit again, but perhaps think twice about going on a busy weekend evening unless you're prepared to wait.

I also had side of chips and king prawns, which were also cooked perfectly. Great atmosphere, good prices for the quality, already booked again for our anniversary. The food was nice but the seating location we had wasn't great which put a dampner on our meal. I also don't like the automatically added 20% tip that is added to your bill. It should be the consumers right to chose wether they feel they have had a good experience to leave a tip not be forced, and yes I know you can request not to pay it but that makes you look bad. Mixed feelings on this venue, good food, well cooked just little things that can spoil your evening.

We felt like we were being hurried with the end of our meal with staff almost like bouncers hovering near your table to get you out and the next set of diners in. The high reviews on trip advisor made me choose this restaurant in the first place- but I realised that these high reviews are because you get a free baileys drink and you are pestered at your table whilst they watch , the give a hearty review! We ordered from here in lockdown and the food was amazing for take out. Couldn't wait to eat here properly. There was a magician there last night aswell that was absolutely brilliant. Only thing if i had to nit pick is they dont have gf bread which wouldve been great with my starter. All the starters come with bread and id have loved some also. I was very pleasantly surprised by La Boca. Most Latin restaurants abroad misrepresent Latin cuisine. But as possibly the only Argentine to visit this restaurant, felt la Boca was quite authentic. A few items on the menu were a bit of a questionable mix but other than that, most options were the same as you'd find in a restaurant in Buenos Aires. Get any of the steaks and the empanadas. You just can't go wrong with those.

Tried this on a Wednesday evening and it was packed. Says a lot. I had a 10oz sirloin steak with was amazing (the one time I could of eaten probably a 30oz) and several of my colleagues had the fish which they all said was very good. They are not vegan friendly that I personally noticed however are vegetarian friendly. For someone who enjoys their South American cuisine a very good choice and enjoyable restaurant with vibrant atmosphere and must be very popular to be packed to the rafters on a Wednesday night. I can see why. If you are in Doncaster I would recommend booking a table here.

Went last night, 9th October, first time myself and family had been, the whole experience was 10/10. Staff were attentive, polite and professional, even the young man who was working his first shift there. The steaks were amazing, cooked to perfection, even the chips were great, my partner had a burger which he said was the best he'd had. This is another welcome addition to my list of quite wonderful places to eat in Doncaster. Yes, Doncaster. A lot of people get a bit snobbish about Doncaster and to be honest, that's their loss because it's a home of some true gems. La Boca is clean, friendly and has excellent menus for food, drinks and sweets. The quality is truly outstanding and you should at least try this once - you'll be back, oh, and the value will make your wallet smile. Outstanding.

I went last night with a friend. Was a little quiet at first but soon became busy, showing just how popular the place is. Friendly staff who never rushed us to vacate after our meal. Although the bill nearly made my eyes water, a good portion of that was on drink and luckily I wasn't paying! As for the food you get what you pay for and I got quality. Came here yesterday. Was surprised to see that Choripàn and Milanesa wasn’t on the menu as you can’t go anywhere in Argentina without this being on the menu in any restaurant. However the food we ordered was delicious. My partner is Argentinian and she rated it so need I say anymore. Sultan the waiter (apologises if I’ve spelt the name wrong) was very welcoming and funny. I would say it is worth a visit if you haven’t been and I would definitely call in again if I happened to be passing by.

I had a mixed platter which had lamb cutlets, chicken/chorizo skewers and chicken wings. All were tender and tasty. The staff were very attentive and efficient and had a pleasant demeanour. We even got a magician at our table, which was a lot of fun. Prices are completely fair for what you get. We paid £75 for two courses each plus drinks. Parking is easy with the large (free after 6pm) market car park just across the street and a large ncp car park further up the other way. Second visit. Still #1

This place was packed on race day but we were found a 1.5 hour slot before our train home. Wine well priced, steaks good and nice choice of starters and sides - two bottles of wine, shared starter, two 10 ounce steak dinners and a shared side for 95 quid plus optional service is good value in an Argie steak restaurant. Food service was perfectly timed too. Sirloin was perfect, Ribeye could have been a little less fatty - although I enjoy the milky fat that normally comes with this cut. Recommended, we'll be back.

Visited La Boca for father's Day. I had the sirloin and it has to be one of the best steaks I've had. I arrived earlier than the table booking so spent around 45 mins at the bar waiting for the rest of the party to arrive.I had a lovely chat with the waiter who was very invested in making sure I was enjoying my time at the restaurant. Some small mistakes were made by the waitress who took our food order but this can be forgiven as the restaurant is new and was more than made up for by the care taken to put things right. My starter, main and dessert were all fantastic but I had a burger for my main instead of a steak, you would expect an Argentinian steakhouse to have the steak under wraps, but she was underwhelmed by the quality of it. The staff who served us were friendly and smiley although were slightly hard to understand at times, but they were happy to help at all times. The prices were a little steep for the quality we had but I would recommend this place for anyone looking to try a new place to eat. Best steakhouse in Doncaster. Went to La Boca for lunch today with 3 fellow diners. This was our first visit but it won't be the last. From the moment we entered the restaurant we were well cared for by our waiter and servers. There's a wide range of food and drinks on offer. We finally decided on 3 mocktails, a glass of red wine and 4 different cuts of steak. The steaks were cooked to perfection and delicious. We all thoroughly enjoyed our mains and emptied our plates. We had a little room left for desert and all ordered churros. Again we enjoyed them so much that we all cleared our plates. We will be back!

I can honestly say only having visited Doncaster’s only other steak house La Boca was most certainly needed for the town centre. The food has an excellent taste that was massively satisfying, taking away from the normal Italian Indian Spanish etc. The steaks we tried could be cut with a fork they were that tender. This is not a moan or a winge but honest feedback. After being welcomed into the restaurant and shown to our table we were told that our 'server' would be back shortly to take our drinks order... 10min later I called the guy over. Told him which bottle of wine we wanted and that we also knew what we wanted to eat. 15min later our bottle of wine appeared and the jug of water we asked for. Then to our surprise the food came. We both had ordered a ribeye stake cooked rare. Both steaks where cooked rare as requested but my steak I had to cut a lot of viens and sinew out of it. I left them in a pile on my plate. Once we had finished, our plates where taken and the waiter never even asked or enquired if there was anything wrong with the steak. We then ordered two espresso and asked for them to be strong. The espresso was short but weak and when the waiter asked if they were OK I told him that they were both poor. He then said the he "only takes the orders" ... So what was the point in asking if he wasn't going to take the feedback and do something with it? I asked for the bill and a different person came along with the card machine. He asked if the meal had been OK, so I told him that he deserved honest feedback and that was "we had eaten better for cheaper" He accepted that but never asked what could have been done better... So, if he's reading this... 1) a more prompt service for ordering drinks. When told that the waiter would be back shortly, we wouldn't expect 10min 2) a more prompt service to deliver the drinks... 15min after ordering a bottle of red wine is too long. 3) if someone complains about something, take the complaint and do something or at least say that the complaint will be passed on. Doing or saying nothing makes the customer feel under valued. 4) if a waiter sees an unusual amount of rough cut steak left on the plate, someone should ask if there was any problem with the meal. Most customers hate to bring up a complaint first but if asked they are more likely to. In our other reviews of restaurants we always pose the question "would we go back?" Our answer to this one is unlikely.
