I visited as a solo diner on a very hot Thursday evening. I had booked ahead although when I arrived it was clear I didn’t need to. If you’ve been to one TGI you’ve been to them all. This one is located on a leisure park surrounded by other eateries, a bowling alley, a cinema and loads of free parking and has the obligatory yellow New York taxicab outside. I was soon seated and served. I went for the wings as a starter which were OK followed by some ribs. Both were messy, tasty and kind of what you expected them to be. This is still a chain restaurant after all. I finished off with a couple of cocktails (well they were on offer). I got the impression from chatting with the manager (who was the one that seated me initially) that they were slightly down on staff that evening however my waitress was friendly, on the ball and made sure my beer never ran dry. I noted the table next to me seemed to be the customer from hell but she held her cool and dealt with them in a really professional way and didn’t ignore me or any of her other customers. Well played. At the end of my meal my waitress had just clocked off for the night so it was somebody different helped by the manager who cleared my table and got me my bill. It’s always good to see a manager getting involved and not just hiding in the office barking orders. It makes a huge difference to the staff and as a customer, you can really feel the different in attitude and service. So good food and good service on a Thursday evening. Not cheap and not gourmet dining but you expect neither of these things with TGI so it delivered exactly what it said on the tin. A good night out.

Great meal here today, friendly staff, quick service. Garlic chiabatta was a little burned but everything else was brilliant. New menu doesn't include my favorite burger so I had the jack daniels chicken strips while my wife had a salad.

Love it here. like i love all TGI's, The staff are lovely and they have a great personality. the price is resonable depending on what you get id always go for something that is more than just a burger so you get the best out of the expirance, the sesame seed chicken becuase that is amazing.

Came here today for the first time but will definitely come back again, Lauren our server was very attentive always had a smile on her face and nothing was to much trouble. The food was amazing it was lovely and hot when it came to the table. They certainly do not skimp on food here there was plenty, will definitely be coming back again. Well done a lovely clean and friendly restaurant with happy staff x

I saw several reviews of this TGI's which made a point about the poor service the reviewers received. This was not the case when we attended. The staff were friendly and accommodating from the very beginning. Including allowing us to move seats with no fuss as a booth had become available 10 minutes after we arrived. Menu wise it was what you would expect from a TGIs. A good vegan burger and chips.

Lovely staff and lovely food. The waitress that served us couldn't be anymore helpful we ordered bottomless drinks, the glass was never empty unlike in other TGI'S where you wait 20 minutes for a refill. Great atmosphere the best TGI'S we have visited.

Mostly good one glaring problem. We attended the Doncaster TGI like we have many times before, and were seated promptly, we have a little bit who is soya and milk intolerant, so his order had to be taken by a manager, my daughter asked for chicken tenders brand and chips, which when it came the chicken wasn't cooked correctly the batter was wet and not cooked at all, at no point during the meal were we asked if everything was ok. And when I highlighted the issue with the chicken to a member of staff she just looked at me and went ok. This isn't the service that we'd normally expect from a large chain restaurant, the rest of the meals were fine, but no attempt to rectify or offer a replacement of the chicken was made.

Tasty, Tasty, Tasty..... Took our daughter and friend for her 18th birthday. The food was amazing, as was the staff, they were very helpful, friendly, and polite, we were served by a girl called Bethany, she was very helpful, and made our daughter feel special on her birthday. We visited today after using the Dome for my sons 10th Birthday. Both our server (whos name i didnt get) and Gabs were fantastic. Orders were taken and then admended once the boys decided on more food without issue. Gabs was fantastic as my son was very bothered about the Birthday fuss but she was amazing and made him a hat and made him feel special without drawing attention to him which was just perfect. Credit to the company.

Due to Covid restrictions we only went for a take away so can't comment on the full experience. We love TGIs American feel and have mealed in a lot of them up and down the country.... I have to say there has been a lot of thought put into the design of this place, its gorgeous inside and out. The food was spot on too, ready for the exact time for which it was ordered. Packed well and still nice and hot after a 15 minute drive home...

Very interesting place, lovely food, all a little different to your usual pub chains. Great ambiance and decoration. Plenty of staff moving around so always easy to get somebodies attention. Not the cheapest place to eat, but I think it's decent value for good food and good atmosphere. Looking forward to going back.

We booked in advance and were greeted promptly and seated quickly. My wife and I both had burgers and were delicious. My only gripe was I didn't have the Legendary glaze, so I had to steal the wife's! Staff were lovely and attentive ( sadly, I forget our servers name, but she got a tip from a person that does not regularly too!) Great evening left feeling stuffed and happy.

Went on a Friday for a birthday, place was very busy but had a reservation with additional guests which staff managed to seat without fuss. Let me say first the food was cooked well and was verry tasty. However the servings was tiny. My son literally had 6 frys on his kids meal. Both me and my wife had the garlic frys she had more than me but not by many I had only a hand full. I had to order more food for everyone when we got home as all we're still hungry. We went in this restaurant for my dother birthday, she is 12 so best what they did is was surprised my chiaild with one slight of cake.. thats was very amaising, good tradition! If the rating was based purely on the front of house staff its would be 5 star. On arrival we had a 20 min wait for a table however the yound lady explained that more waiters were due on shift soon. We headed to the bar and were severed by yet another lovely lively lady who made us feel welcome. Soon enough the buzzer went off and we were led to our table. The waiter was again very friendly and lively which to me is always a good thing. Nothing worse than a mardy waiter haha. We were gove just enough time to decide and the service really was good. However upon ordering my hubby a vegetarian was told their were no vegetarian burgers available 😔 but the waiter did say they had the vegan burger and also any kind of pasta could be served without the meat. He settled on veg fajitas with a side of warrior fries. Myself the steak fries and coleslaw. The wait wasn't too long. The warrior fries were cold and my coleslaw was in fact appleslaw 🤮. Our waiter was again very good and got the fries sorted. My coleslaw was not to be as they had run out so. So all in all great service from all in the front disappointing service from behind closed doors.

Well firstly I would like to say as a party of four, we had a great variety of foods on order from appetizers through to delicious deserts. The food was delicious..and enjoyed thoroughly.!! Compliments to the chef. (Although the blue cheese salad was delivered minus the blue cheese..? with no apology Haha.. so just lettuce and bacon ... so was returned) The staff were wonderful, polite and professional at all times making our visit even more enjoyable throughout. My only grievance.. sorry... is that the waiting time on drinks delivered was appalling... I waited so long at one point of the evening I went to get my drink myself only to be met by a wonderful young man who immediately rectified this matter with efficience and grace so I was not disappointed with the outcome. All in all wonderful evening had by all. Just needs tweaking in the bar sector. No delays or complaints regarding anything else. Thank you T G I Fridays.

Brilliant! The food was absolutely amazing, great selection and we were able to change a few small bits to our meal. The young lady who served us was really lovely happy and listened to us very much on top of making sure everything was OK. HIGHLY recommend!!

Sadly they didn't have what I wanted to order but I was offered an alternative chicken dish. There were way too many chicken pieces for me, half a portion would have been plenty & the lettuce was a little sad looking but the fries were nice. I thought it was a bit overpriced & found the music too loud but the staff were good & all sang an alternative happy birthday to our birthday boy.

It is a TGI Friday! You know what experience you are going to have before you go. It is one of nice staff with good customer service. However, the food is average and overpriced. I would not eat at this TGI again. Not due to a poor meal, but, due to there being better options for the same type of food in the local area (better value and just as nice or nicer). However, TGI is one of my absolute favourite places to go for a drink. The bar staff are always knowledgeable and they will make basically any cocktail you can think of!

Staff are lovely and the food tastes amazing. Unfortunately the service is a little hit and miss and you might sit around for a while waiting to be served or given the bill. They do offer an amazing service for those with food allergies, to make sure the risk of cross contamination is minimised as much as possible.

The food is just amazing. Is tasty and well made. They might do take away/click and collect. Plenty of options for food and drinks and the dips are just amazing and their fries are the best ones in town. Would recommend if you're feeling fancy as it can be fairly pricey. The restaurant itself has an intimate feeling to it and is made for dates as well as for family /friends group. The staff is helpful and nice. Would come back again to try the desserts

Visited last Sunday and the front of the house worker said theres a 90 minute wait. Went back to the car, booked a table online and managed to get in within 5 mins. Stupid customer service. However the food was really nice.

We had a warm friendly meeting on arrival and shown to our table. It was our first visit to a TGI Fridays, Drinks order was taken but was very slow to be delivered to us, waiter said barman had a backlog of orders but we had been watching the bar area he wasn't there for at least 5mins or more. Our food arrived I had half rack of ribs with BBQ sauce and fries, it was lovely my husband had a burger which he said was good too. Later that evening as we were discussing how much we enjoyed the meal I realised that there was no slaw or corn on the cob which should've come with my meal, oh well never mind too late to chase it up now, I'll make sure I get some next time. All in all good evening out nice food and will deffo give TGI Fridays another go.

Four friends and I had a very pleasant experience. We were not happy with the first table we were given as we found it quite difficult to slide around the curve of the booth seating, so we asked if It was possible to move to a booth with straight sides, within a few minutes we were given what we wanted, the service staff were lovely, and several of them said goodbye when we left not just those who had served our table. The service was exceptional, booking means you get a seat especially with Coronavirus restrictions. The person we had was bubbly and actually nice. The food was good to a point. First the starters, we had mozzarella sticks. They were great and the sauces that came with was nice. I also tried the potato skins with cheese and bacon though they tasted weird to me at least as it seemed it was deep fried. For mains I had a cheeseburger, absolutely amazing, though I must say the bread did taste a bit dry for my liking. The chips we had with it were also nice especially if you opt for the cheese and bacon ones though if your used to normal 'English' Bacon it may taste a bit off. Finally we have the onion rings, this Is what let it down with them being just not great, over fried and the onion just fell out after one bite. Apart from that and a £70 odd bill, nice. Personally the Asthetics aren't for me buuuuut for others its good and every thing has a meaning behind it. So yah, all's good.

1st time going to the doncaster restaurant and we both really enjoyed our meals. The deal for 2 courses for £10.99 were excellent and got a varied choice of items. Great atmosphere and surroundings, staff were attentive and welcoming. Very surprised for a monday how busy they were but cant fault anything.

Booked online which was very easy, we turned up 10 mins late ( due to traffic, totally our fault not leaving enough travelling time) The staff on reception were very friendly and accommodating, we were shown to our table straight away. Our waitress appeared immediately with the menus, introduced herself and was incredibly friendly. 10 mins later she returned to take our food and drinks order...... very impressed however it went downhill after that. Our drinks took at least 20 mins to arrive with one missing saying it would be on it's way. Our food arrived around 40 mins after our drinks.( 60 mins after ordering).... no sign of the missing drink and everyone was ready to order another. The food was good , ribs especially. The missing drink arrived half way through eating our food! Our food was cleared away and we ordered desserts..... wish we hadn't....... another wait!! 2 1/2 hours we were in the restaurant for a main course and dessert. We shall not be returning in a hurry!

Booking is essential or you have to wait it's that popular. Tables are very spaced out due to the restrictions which is good, and the waiter was pleasent and helpful as usual. The menu was noticeably smaller than usual but ribs were available so all was good.

Having been here several times in the past you can be sure that the food is very tasty and usually maintains a standard that you can rely on this time was no different as I ordered a full rack of barbecue ribs with fries and onion rings the food itself was very nice as usual the price is a little expensive for what it is is but but it does offer a unique taste compared to other places so you get what you pay for I suppose the only issue is the waiting times due to the popularity of this place especially on a Friday and Saturday you can be waiting for quite some time so it is best to to book in advance
