Nice please,really cheep. I had the pork ribs. The meat was melting in my mouth, but I'd lake a bit less bbq sauce because it was too overwhelming for my taste. Service was quick and staff very polite despite being busy. Will visit again.

The meal looked really nice, however..the salmon was nice and hot, the chicken was warm. When I asked if they could heat up the chicken, one waitress told me it was the salad it was on that cooled it down ...so no. Another waitress asked if I wanted to exchange the meal. I said no had lost my appetite....she was more cheery than the first and served us a dessert with a smile. The first waitress must have been having a bad day as I never saw her smile while we were there. So mixed review..been to other Beefeaters, had brilliant meals and excellent service. Will give this one a miss for a while and try again maybe next year.

We have been twice now but this time we brought our little boy with us. We had the buffet breakfast there's a wide variety of food & drinks and it's all delicious. Allison was so helpful with taking our order and showing us where things was. She was really friendly with our little boy he loved the attention. She kept checking in on us that everything was OK and couldn't be anymore helpful 5 star worker! We will definitely return too "the moo moo cow pub" as my little one calls it.

As I travel all over the UK for my work I stay in lots of Premier Inns and eat in the accompanying pubs the service is different every time. The evening meal service was first class, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was great too, the breakfast team didn't disappoint either again very good and supplied everything that was required to go with your breakfast at the start in a small bowl so no need to ask once your food arrives.

Didn't have anything of what I actually wanted in stock, asked for the desert (all I ordered in the end, and not the one I'd have liked to have) to come with the other mains, and they forgot, a member of our party eventually went and asked as they hadn't come to check how our food was, so we couldn't remind them. The other members of my party enjoyed their mains, the surf and turf looked good, steak and king prawns were cooked well. My desert (brownies) was also good.

Second time i have been in service at the bar very slow. Ordered the ribeye portions on the small side considering the price. Ordered medium rare came out medium. That said the steak was exceptional quality. The question i always ask myself would i go back again to be honest 50 / 50

Booked a table for 8 people but got the date wrong….. staff were absolutely amazing and went out of their way to accommodate us . Majority of our party had the Sunday lunch ( which was amazing) and couple ate off the main menu all our food was brought out at the same time which was lovely. Will definitely be back .

Wonderful staff, the Manageress is a goddess of kindness! The food is better than Miller & Carter, steak is to die for ! Hat off to the team, highly recommend! I can’t wait to go back…. We have eaten at different Beefeater restaurants , this by far was my least favourite. We were sat in what appeared to be the children's area. The food presentation was poor, the starters and mains looked like they had been dumped on the plates, no care or attention. We thought there would have been a little lettuce etc with the starter's, no the ates were large for the amount of food on. The chicken melt had burnt cheese and was tiny . On a positive the steak had been cooked well. The facilities could have tidied, staff could have smiled and been more attentive, not just towards us . Possibly we caught staff on bad day

So we visited today for breakfast. Staff the two ladies are lovely and make you feel very welcome. We ordered full English with poached eggs! The food came out looking good! But the plate was swimming in water from the poached eggs and mushrooms the the point the black pudding looked like a sponge. Not sure if the chef was under pressure and rushed it but with both didn't enjoy trying to eat our breakfast in a plate of water. The continental???? You guys have a massive problem with flys and I could even entertain the fresh fruits with the amount of flys helping themselves..... I'm a restaurant manager myself so I understand flys are a massive problem but you guys seem to have a problem with them to the point we decided to finish our drinks outside. I'm sure we will come back but when chessworld do the the same menu food we will stick with them for now. Sorry

Dear Sir/Madam, 'Approz hundred&ten years' was something a staff member wrote about the firm which oversees the restaurant onto paper. I haven't eaten at this place but have visited for guidance. The staff members were extremely understanding. I went to get guidance about a type of assessment with Oxford's Beefeater but it was at the incorrect timings yet this hasn't prevented them from maintaining decorum. An other member of staff after was still speaking with humor "You've picked the worstest time of this annual calendar" where he was extremely empathic about how much I required guidance the previous Saturdays times but then said he couldn't provide anymore than the previous staff giving the paper full of stats' info. I just wish my head can be read by whoever's seeing this because if it is psychically linked aha you'll see how grateful I am for the diplomacy shown. With Regards Mr Dee Dinakaran

Had the Sunday dinner slow cooked roast beef with the usual trimmings a positive is you get unlimited gravy, roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings. Very enjoyable the beef was very tender. My partner is a veterinarian and there were plenty of choose for her. The atmosphere is very nice withfriendly and efficient staff. Overall very good for a bit of dinner before shipping at lakeside or having a walk around the lake. People need to register there car when entering or ask staff as they have parking cameras.

Just completed a 2 week stay here for work & the staff couldn't be more helpful. As a lone female, the thought of eating alone could have been a daunting prospect, but all the restaurant staff were always checking I was OK, always had a smile and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were clean and the beds were fantastic - Had the best nights sleep ever. All in all, I cant recommend the hotel and staff highly enough. Outstanding.

Brilliant food, too much really but it was Christmas day dinner so 3 courses! 4 glasses of wine and a gin only came to 27 quid which I think is very reasonable, waitresses were 'on it'. Coffee and after 8's were nice (their tea of choice is PG Tips which I think is awful) - Yorkshire tea would have been better, so we had coffee! 😁 Ambience was good, service was good, overall I thought it was bloody brilliant!

My partner and I enjoyed a lovely 3 course meal from the festive menu. Steaks were cooked perfect. The 3 children had a 3 course meal each from the kids menu. My only issue was that initially it had all been rang through as individual items which added an extra £20 to the bill. This was quickly rectified. I'm glad we checked the bill though.

It's OK some staff are friendly enough but the food is very average for the prices not particularly high but would expect a little more on plate and lacks standards over other Beefeaters. If staying in hotel it is worth eating here though. Don't forget to enter your vehicle registration upon entry.

Stopped at this restaurant for breakfast on Friday. Lots of choice and staff was very friendly and helpful. Kids really enjoyed it too. Only thing was that it didn't feel very clean (table, cutlery, plates etc.), but overall a good experience.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Our server both evenings was Linzi (not sure on the spelling sorry) and she was so lovely to the children. Tyler and Emma both kept looking for you Linzi throughout our time in the Beefeater at tea times 😅 The food was generally good but I did notice the price for the smothered chicken seemed a bit steep for what my partner got. Last night the meals were spot on and the server who brought our meals even made a joke that I had the better meal (mixed grill) to my partner (rack of ribs) which was lovely to have a laugh with the staff so thank you to the young man who served us and made the joke. You we're very welcoming and it was refreshing to see someone enjoying their work! x We only had an issue with the fries and peas being cold when we came in tonight but mentioned this to Linzi and she apologised profusely and discounted our puddings off the price bless her. Atmosphere was great and I noticed the music this morning was quite chill to wake up to. Quite loud in the evenings but obviously with a lot more people in you expect that. Breakfast staff were lovely this morning and very helpful and very kind to the children. We unfortunately didn't get the name of the lady who served us this morning but have been told she is back on tomorrow so we will add her name here for reference. The puddings had to be the tastiest so we strongly recommend the black forest sundae and the chocolate churros sundae 🤤 absolutely delicious. Thank you to all the staff and to Linzi thank you for making our days brighter and for being so happy during your shift. Their is so much I want to say about this place, not only was the food and drink quality, the staff is what makes it. Me and my mate have been staying at the premier inn for 2 months and we have had an amazing time while their. Being in construction is a hard job at the best of times but even when we had a hard day coming back to the digs and seeing the smiles on the staffs faces and remembering our order of drinks is amazing. Jake,kaden,aiden,mckalea and everyone in the back( which I wish we had spent more time with) made us feel welcome, secure and did the utmost to look after us the best they could in such a busy environment, and it was most appreciated. With working away we are away from our friends and family, so meeting a great a team like them was awesome. Be safe, keep grinding at university and I look forward to seeing you all again.

Went in for lunch on my own, I was greeted by a nice lady with mousy brown hair who I assume was a senior member of staff who was very welcoming and pleasent throughout. I ordered the grilled prawns and swapped the fries for grilled veggies, I really enjoyed the meal but the only criticism would be that adding a sprinkling of sea salt on the veggies would of made a huge difference. I will be definetly returning.

It's a nice place, they seem to be out of ingredients for more than a couple of dishes each time we go. The Gluten free section isn't great, there is a choice between two burgers really because other things have sauces on them not at the side.

Clean and welcoming. Following Covid-19 guidelines VERY well. Food was tasty and well cooked. I had the 8oz sirloin, because unfortunately they didn't have my first choice of the fillet, and my wife had the smothered chicken. Both dishes came with "triple cooked" chips, which were lovely. My steak was cooked to perfection and was very tasty and juicy. Sorry I forgot to take pictures, I was too hungry to wait! I would have given 5 stars, but being out of fillet, and not telling me before I sat deciding for 15 minutes cost a perfect score I thought. I'd still highly recommend the food and friendly staff.

Went for lunch today before hitting the shops. It’s about six months since I was last in this pub and today was a much better experience. I think it’s a new menu, much improved. They also have an excellent offer, five meals on the menu are just £5.00. And these are available Monday to Friday. It was a good selection and ideal for a lunch. We had beer battered fish chips and peas. The fish was definitely a cut above the normal frozen fish usually served up in this type of pub. The chips were lovely,not greasy at all. It was well worth what we paid and it was an enjoyable hour out of our day. The waitress was very pleasant and although they were having work done in the pub we thoroughly enjoyed it. We will return.

The food was decent as you would expect from a chain like Beefeater. The staff were a little bit slow to offer me a table but once I was sat down everything was great. The staff were polite and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant was bright and well presented, it was a little bitty from dropped food throughout the day but that is the norm. Pleased to.announce that all the dropped food had been picked up and cleaned up for breakfast the next morning. After visiting this establishment the following night due to being away for business the service was spot on. I was sat down and greeted as soon as I entered the door. And again the service and food was as good as always from a beefeater restaurant. All of the staff were again polite and friendly with the restaurant floor considerably cleaner than on the Sunday when I first arrived.

It is very busy in here 😍 on a Saturday and the staff were constantly knocking my chair as they went past. I had a good veggie meal which was nice but it was the only veggie meal available. It was our 1st time back there for a few years but it won't be long b4 we go back. The whole visit and everything about it was really good , from being greeted and seated be very friendly and polite staff. The service by the serving staff and quality of both starter and mains were outstanding. As it was 5.30 on a Sunday, it didn't feel packed or rushed but still had enough in to get a good vibe . We stayed at the Travel Lodge Lakeside this weekend and visited the Lakeside Beefeater Pub for lunch on the day of arrival. The front of house Manager was very welcoming and friendly and showed us to a table. The staff were very helpful and polite and the food was very enjoyable. We returned for our evening meal which was excellent and again for breakfast on the day of leaving. The staff were very very good ( special mention for Oliver) and the food that we chose was very enjoyable. I would have mo hesitation in visiting the Beefeater at Lakeside again when I am next in the area. Well done everyone. Brenda

Free parking for the match, providing you take the precaution of registering your car registration number with the staff. Maybe I misunderstood the instructions, or missed the signage?.. Or, more likely, I was more thirsty, than worried about parking fines, and perhaps the signs were obscured by Coventry City fans, of which there were many, but... There's a tablet on the bar, immediately in front of you, as you walk through the entrance, and you just type in your number plate. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and very efficient... So long as you want to buy beer, rather than wasting their time with questions about the parking policy. Food looked nice, but obviously half five kick offs fall in between meals for normal people, so can't give a first hand account

Had the fish and chips with mushy peas which was brought out very quickly as it wasnt very busy. The fish wasnt greasy and tasty and the chips were very nice too. The mushy peas were a bit bland but better than a lot of other places. The staff were very polite, not overwhelming and very helpful.

Have been visiting here for years when visiting the local attraction. The meal deal on offer when staying at the premier inn attached is good value and ideal when you have children as its so handy. A simple walk through the hotel after being outcand about all day. On our last visit the service at night was poor to be honest. Took our order. Mains arrived but tge starter didnt. Waitress didnt return until pudding menu. Not asked if we wanted any more drinks through out. It wasnt particularly busy. But with a lot of places that do breakfasts. There seems to be as much time spent making up tables for the next morning. The food is typical chain pub grub. Fills a hole and salad i had was really good.. Waitress in the morning who looks after you for breakfast, who has been here since we started coming several years ago is great and cannot do enough for you. Should maybe enlightening the staff who work nights. Overall on this visit. Not as good as usual. But does go to show how much staff affect the overall experience.

Since my initial visit have been back several times and learned that Becky is a very capable and pleasant manager, Adie must be on skates and a person, possibly Jess is totally in top of the game. This venue is warm, welcoming and very Covid prepared. It is a totally pleasant experience to visit my only problem is knowing when to leave. We visited last night for my belated birthday meal. Beefeater never fails us. I had the ribeye steak and if is always lovely but last night was the best I had tasted in a long while. As I said, it is always nice, but it was just cooked to perfection. My husband had the haddock and chips, ( no surprise there!) and he said his was good too. My daughter had the steak and frites, she said hers was also cooked perfectly. Our server, Rebecca, was lovely and very attentive. If you havent tried Beefeater, Lakeside Doncaster, you are missing a treat. We go that often we are recognised immediately. Lovely food, lovely staff and management, cpean, comfortable. What more can you ask? Thank you again for a perfect dining experience.

Somehow, Beefeater seem to keep me interested in their food. Even though I have eaten at dozens of them, they have enough choice to keep me going but first and foremost it's the quality that keeps me coming back. The steaks are sublime, perfectly cooked and the sides are of equal quality. One of the nights I thought, no steak, let's try a steak burger :)...WOW!!! Superb!! Beefeaters seem to have it just right and long may they continue doing so with me as a customer.
