Service was good..lovely lass..very pleasant. However I was disappointed that we weren't told there would be items missing from our food. The Nachos were missing the chilli's (the best part in my opinion) which meant I knew the main course of chicken fajitas would also be missing the chilli's too... and I was right. Mexican style fajitas and nachos just aren't the same without them, and we ought to have been told on ordering. I was offered an extra side order, so chose guacamole but in fairness the chicken was very chewy and the peppers and onions were raw. I've been having the same meal for about 20 years ...maybe it's time I tried something different as this was by far the worst one ever I've had..and the very first time I've ever left half of my food on my plate.

This is one of our favourite eateries. However tonight they were sadly lacking . I ordered my usual mixed grill to be told there were no onions or eggs n at first no suggestion of something as an alternative. Then I was asked if I'd like an extra mushroom I asked for an extra sausage . The meal arrived minus any mushrooms at all and not even on a hot Sizzler platter. Nore were any sauces proffered.,the next table was told no sweetcorn either . Not their finest night .

I attended a private function after a funeral and sampled the variety of refreshments that were provided. The food was freshly cooked, well presented and very tasty, although options for vegetarians were limited, they were still very nice. The pint of beer that I had was perfect and the interior is what you’d expect for an old village pub.

Food was nice nothing too special. Had an absolute nightmare trying to use the app and must of been in about 30mins before final gave up and went to the bar. Stuff we requested on the app came up not available so chose something else. Only to find out after that apparently they had everything other than the supply issue stuff on the print out on the table. I'd say only let down is don't really get a dining experience (I know it's just a pub). Told to go get your sauces yourself and from when we got there not one person came to see if we needed anything or any help. The sweet potato fries that cake with the burger were pretty much black and when we asked for them to be replaced the staff member said well have you tried them 🤣. They were like coal!

Great pub who made us so welcome after travelling up from Portsmouth and arriving at 09:30. Doors opened at 10 and we were welcomed in for breakfast. As a gesture chips and bread were put on for all us travelling fans which I thought gave this pub the big thumbs up. Thank you from us, Pompey away fans. See you again soon.

Great food and friendly staff. Decent sized portions and you don't have to wait ages after ordering for your food to be served, which is always good. Only thing that let it down was the desserts. £4.49 for an honeycomb rasberry sundae. No honeycomb available (which was no major issue) my main gripe is you only got 4 very small scoops of ice-cream the rest (2/3) was made up of squirty cream. So will be avoiding these in the future as they really aren't worth it, even both my kids weren't impressed, this is why only gave 4 stars and not 5. It's a shame as the meals are generous, sort the desserts and it's a great place to go 👌🏻👍🏻

It's an OK chain pub.The food is decent pub food. Has some veggie and I think even vegan options. Staff were friendly. Toilets could use an update. Convenient car park.

Visited this morning for breakfast. I must comment that the establishment was really cold, there was no heating on as is the case on many occasions we have visited. The breakfast was only just warm enough as the food had been left on the side for quite some time (there was only one staff member who was tending the bar and waiting on tables so not his fault as he was very busy the whole time we were there). This made it difficult to get refills of tea/coffee & perhaps this could be left on a table accessible to customers so they can help themselves (as per The Friendly Forrester (Sizzling Pub) in Bridlington who have this set up). This however did not detract from the quality of the food we received or the service given (albeit slow).

Typical pub food. Quick service and decently priced. I wouldn't recommend eating on a weekend here, as you have to order at the bar and it took us half and hour to get served for our food order and any drinks thereafter, as they only had one member of bar staff working.
