Very pleasant ambience for a family gathering. Especially, the centre party table with a virtual sky screen was a great feature. The food was delicious and really enjoyed the desserts too. The staff was very friendly and supportive, with my little toddler running around the place, they kept their professionalism and handled it very politely. I highly recommend this place for a nice family dinner or even a large gathering or party functions. Thanks for the great time.

Traditional Indian restaurant - very good! Various updated versions of Indian restaurants are popping, but Apricot isn't one of those. Apricot is a traditional Indian restaurant - decor as to be expected, every variation of every type of curry on the menu, etc.... but the food is excellent! Probably one of the best naan breads I have had - really! Excellent service, good value, look forward to coming back.

If you want some chatter with the server and owner you can get that with this restaurant. The restaurant was visibly appealing and unique and plays it's heritage very well. The food was tasted deliciously. I order the chicken tikka shashlik. Alot of onion!

This is a really lovely restaurant. Probably the best Indian meal I've had in a long time. Very nice staff as well. There were four of us for the meal. They didn't hurry us at all as we took our time over our meal. If you enjoy Indian food this place is a must.

Went in today for lunch. Lovely restaurant. Food is excellent Had the super minced lamb swish kebab as a starter Comes with a super sweet sauce. The chicken tikka masala is full of flavour and you get a large serving. The garlic nan was delicious. The man who served us was very friendly. Try this place without fail.

For quite a while now, not any where near as good as Apricot used to be. And the salt content in the curry sauce that comes with tandoori dishes is shocking, as well as texture and flavour... Bring back the old Apricot please, we miss it. Edit to this post. Business lunch good value for money but the curry dishes I have tried so far are ok, but not really to my personal taste. Small nan breads as apposed to the larger ear shaped versions in most nearby places The staff were friendly and attentive enough and both the dining areas and the toilets had been cleaned to a good standard.

Probably the best Indian restaurant I've ever been to. The lunch menu is outstanding and also very affordable considering the quality and portion sizes. There's nothing 5* about this place; the food is incredible, the service is top notch and professional and the decor is very nice. I don't often go to the same restaurant multiple times, but this is a rare exception. I wish i could give more than 5 stars!

Delicious food and fantastic staff. My only negative point is that many of the dishes, whilst tasty and authentic, are a bit sauce heavy. I had a king prawn dish as a main and it contained four king prawns and lots of sauce. Even with rice and Naan bread, there was still lots of sauce left after I had eaten the prawns. Starter was delicious, authentic flavours and reasonable price but more prawns / meat and less sauce please !

Apricot had a buffet charity night for the British Heart Foundation. Food was good, hot, plentiful and very tasty. Not a huge selection but good quality. Service excellent as always. Staff are very friendly and can't do enough to help. Would recommend a visit.

Being fom Glasgow I'm pretty spoilt with amazing Indian restaurants, and I'm often disappointed when I try somewhere outside my usual favourite eateries - however Apricot was better than just good. The staff were really friendly, making the visit a very enjoyable experience. They were even happy to amend a saag aloo to accommodate my wee toddler's dairy allergy. Something I wish other places would do. It was incredible, full of flavour and smoky without being too spicy for a wee kid! My Dopiaza was a proper sharp tangy zinger and the sides of mushroom rice and paratha hit the mark. This is a proper curry lover's restaurant. Thoroughly look forward to coming here again when I'm next visiting Dunfermline.

Best curry I've ever had. I've tried the korma, Tikka masala, and bhuna, all of which are absolutely delicious, really flavourful, and absolutely the best curry around. The pakora is really good too, light and fluffy with the perfect amount of crisp on the batter. The naan bread is the same too, really soft with just a little crisp to it. All the staff are very friendly and polite, the atmosphere is very relaxed and it feels like a very upmarket restaurant. The prices however, do not feel upmarket. The Sunday buffet for £10.99 is an amazing price for such a great meal. The buffet isn't a massive selection but when every single dish is that good, you don't need to put out 25 different curries. With that said, unlike other buffets I've been to, every dish that's put out is always hot and fresh, which makes a hugely pleasant change. I've recommended this place to everyone I know and so far I haven't heard a single bad review. By far the best Indian restaurant around.
