Reviews of Crooked Glen Brewers Fayre
P. R.
Standard Prem Inn.
Parking close by,
Clean rooms,
Nice powerful shower,
Friendly reception.
The food across the road in the Brewers Fayre had deceiving looks, kinda like a mirror after a hot shower.
I went for the mixed grill with upgraded 8oz steak and the chicken and gammon came out hidden underneath the beastly slane steak.
When I revealed them, they looked so sad, so pitiful, like they had just returned from Lizzies state funeral.
Looks don't count for everything however and they tasted even better than an injury time winning goal.
Regretted ordering the humongous chocolate sundae.
It was so big it would have dwarfed the gypsy king himself.
Tasted sooooo good though, hallucinations and sugar sweats were included for free!
C. L. T.
Very friendly staff. The food arrived quickly and was good. Tables well spaced. Good table by window. Didn't seem overly busy. The only downside was a quite long list of things that were out of stock. Having said that, it didn't affect us first choices we're available. Curry and Scampi.
Right next door to the Premierinn. Good job too as it was typical Scottish weather, ie torrential rain !
S. J.
Food was reasonably priced. The food was of a good standard. Needs a better drink selection though. My girlfriend had the chilli non carne. I had the luxury lasagne. I had a side of chips also. Corona beer was the only beer I liked.
L.
Lovely carvery meal, tasty and juicy turkey and roast beef. Dessert was also amazing! Highly recommend, especially as it is a very family friendly place to go if you have young children.
C. B.
Staying here for work. Pretty boring place and the food is OK.
A. B.
Popped into have breakfast on our way to the airport. The breakfast was absolutely lovely, hot and plentiful. The female toilets let them down big style. They were very dirty. Toilet seat hanging off. Such a shame! Very lovely staff too.
E. B.
The bar staff when we arrived was dealing with a very rude customer who had bought a meal deal then kept telling her that the bill was incorrect. Unfortunately I didn't get the ladies name but she was amazing and stayed composed at all times. They definitely don't get paid enough for what they have to deal with.
I can't stress enough, how hard these people work and if I see her again in the morning I will definitely get her name and publish it.
m. l.
Apart from the gut who showed us to a table that we would be sitting looking at a blank wall when there were plenty other vacant tables once we were settled at a different table we had a nice time the waiting staff were very pleasant I dont know who the guy was think he was in charge that night but was not suitably dressed. Food no complaints and my grandchildren loved it
V. D.
Great customer service, especially from waiter I think his name was Robbie. He overheard my daughter said something was spilt in the softplay and straight away got it cleaned up so they could go back in. He was very attentive and even offered to call the kids from the softplay when our dinner came. Burger was good and the kids enjoyed the spaghetti bolognese.
K. B.
Ate here new years day , first time here. Staff were lovely and friendly, love the fact there's a soft play to entertain kids while waiting on dinner , very clean and tidy . Food time was really quick , portions were small and food was average .
P. D.
Great place to take the family,, decent food, great service, only thing that spoiled the evening was very young children being allowed to run riot by parents who was happy to sit with their faces glued to their phones.
S. S.
Staff were very attentive, welcoming, it was busy but didn't feel rushed, food was cooked beautifully 👌
A. H.
Buffet breakfast with family, nice selection, good quality sausage & Bacon. Lots of different options for cereal, yogurts etc
W. m.
Ordered soup of the day and rump steak both were lovely. Good service and atmosphere
J. F.
Stayed in the premier inn next door for a week and ate in here most nights staff were always friendly and nothing ever a bother the food is standard brewers fayre food which does the job
c. b.
Staff very friendly..I had Xmas meal salmon en crout n trifle enjoyed it all . Very relaxing
A.
A lovely place to eat for all the family! Very clean place, great selection of food and very friendly, helpful staff. Plenty of parking outside the door too.
B. A.
I had the good fortune to be visiting my son, who took me to the crooked glen for a meal, & boy was it nice. The staff were very good ,efficient & helpful. I would recommend this place , the food is lovely.
M. R.
Lovely meal staff very friendly nothing to much bother
P. N.
Good little restraunt for a quick and fast lunch nice and cheap
R. M.
You know what you get from this sort of place. Food is as you would expect but I would say the portion sizes are small for the price on the main menu. Soft play good value.
S. S.
Decent family meal, kids took advantage of the indoor play area.
S. H.
Classic brewers fayre. Reasonable quality and price. Decent little softplay so you can enjoy your meal while the little ones play
a. b.
The food was OK and the staff were friendly. The soft play area was filthy, in fact it was so bad we took our grandson out.
s. o.
Wonderful wonderful food, perfect location not 5⭐ due to not the greatest service! But overall I definitely recommend due to a great dinner! Well done to the chef's!!!
H. H.
Worth it. Very friendly service, easy to park, spotless inside. Excellent varied menu with fast service and really friendly chilled staff.
G. C.
Typical mid-range pub food with choices of breaded, battered and 'meat with chips'. Good vegetarian & gluten-free options. Friendly and helpful staff but system for ordering food at bar can be slow. Plenty of parking. Many smokers stand at the door, unpleasant for non smokers.
S. B.
Excellent table service. Food average but worth what is charged.
k. g.
Good food nice dining nd plenty to keep kids amused food excellent but wouldnt recommend the steak pie not my take on traditional homemade streak pie
J. B.
Had a lovely meal with my friend. Service was good. Certainly would go back.
C. M.
My wife and I arrived to the restaurant as a last minute attempt to get some food after staying at the near-by hotel. Forgot it was mother's day, the guy that greeted us did everything he could to get us a table and was very friendly. Excellent customer service from all staff even though it was beginning to get busy. Food (Sunday Carvery) was good as was the coffee. Thank you again for helping us out.
A. B.
Food was really good. And I tend to avoid this kind of restaurant, but fish was really fresh and the batter just nice. Fries again were nice. Only complaint would be that there seems to be a lack of staff. But that's getting the norm in these almost post COVID days
D. D.
First time back after a couple of years and yes, we would definitely go back. We had a lovely meal, warm, tasty food and a decent menu. Friendly staff and never had to wait long before getting served nor did we had to wait long for our food. Thank you.
S. G. W.
Food was very tasty and fantastic value for money, especially the kid's meals. Service (from Grace) was excellent, she was so attentive and accommodating. Kids had so much fun in Soft Play. Would highly recommend for a family meal out.
a. e.
Unfortunately I can't remember her name but hands down the best waitress to ever serve me. Carvery was awesome and price is extremely fair. Brewers fayre with a little extra special customer service.
V. C.
Food ok, cleaning seen a better days
L. P.
Great food and service from waitress named Grace tonight.
Highly recommend!
P. G.
Chole and staff absolutely brilliant service was best I have ever had at a brewers fayre well done.
N. F.
Amazing food the staff were brilliant and helpful had an amazing experience
R. T.
Good food and service plus reasonably priced
j. l.
Great food fast and friendly service can't fault this place.
V. B.
Good place to have a dinner - portions huge, alltasty. Marta are extremely friendly host.
S. K.
Breakfast was lovely, hot and good choice of food, staff really friendly also very helpful, would definitely go back again
I. M.
Frequent visitor travelling up and down, food is good and staff are really nice and helpful, not had a single bad experience at this one.
L. H.
Food was nice - although we were there for lunch and didn't find much on the menu that was a "light lunch" option. I chose the Mac & cheese though and found the portion to be adequate.
The restaurant itself was clean, the staff were wearing masks and social distancing of tables was being observed.
C. B.
After many years of rubbish food and poor service from many of the staff finally got z decent meal and lovely staff
t. b.
It's wise to book as can get busy. Beware of ongoing supply issues which means some items not available on the menu.
N. T.
My meal was decent, I had the smothered chicken which I enjoyed. Others in the party were not so impressed. It is very cheap to eat here.
R. W.
Grace was the lovely lady who served us , she was very cheery and helful. My husband and i both had the tikka masala , both very tasty but my husband had to get a spoon as the sauce was very watery.
C. A.
This is a lovely restaurant with excellent staff who where very friendly and could not do more to help you. A great place to take the whole family as they have a soft play on site as well
D. J.
Food was great and staff friendly
M. S.
Excellent festive dinner very tasty and good servicr
c. r.
Wasn't expecting much from a chain restaurant but was handy stop while on a short trip to E'burgh from Dundee in a very convenient location.
On arrival we were seated quickly without having reserved and there were plenty of seats on arrival. Once seated, drinks were ordered quickly and we were also given a sheet of paper showing which items from the menu that were not available.
I ordered lasagne that was not on the list of unavailable items but was told it was not available. (If you're going to provide a list of unavailable menu items, please keep it updated. Wasn't a major problem, just something worth mentioning.)
Food was as you'd expect from a chain....reasonable prices and acceptable food (let's face it we don't go to brewersfayre and expect fine dining -cheap and cheerful does the job when on a budget).
Waitress was an absolute gem (sorry I forgot her name), she was very down to earth and took time to have a laugh and a joke with us....totally unpretentious. She also seemed to just sense that we were there to eat and run so once she asked if we wanted the dessert menu and we declined, she did not push to try and sell us coffee/additional drinks etc). Do not take that as criticism; while some managers would say she missed an opportunity to sell, I considered it to be great service....she just sensed we were there for a quick food stop and got us the bill quickly.
Food is nothing to write home about but ok for the price. Fast and friendly service. Nothing more than you'd expect from a chain in a leisure park conveniently placed a few minutes drive from the motorway.
Would I go back? Of course!
A. E.
Breakfasts reasonable for the price but other meals are served a little to quick for my liking and the portions seem pre measured as if they have been prepared the night before then zapped in the microwave. The smoking area is by the front door so when the doors open to let customers in you get the aroma of cigarette smoke blowing into the restaurant. Also the smoking area has not been cleaned in the 5 days we have been staying at the Premier Inn opposite. Discarded cigarette butts everywhere
M. F.
Delicious food and dessert, not too pricey, very cozy, it's renovated and spotless, all the regulations are in place, the staff is friendly and helpful. Good promos! I loved the traditional food and really yummy dessert. I'd like to go back sometime.
M. C.
Visit here often. You can get 2 main courses for £8.99 through the week up till 6pm. Great staff. Efficient & friendly. There is also a staffed play area for kids if needed.
L. T.
First time here today, walked in and fit a table no bother for four of us. Quick service and meals were lovely, chicken Caesar salad (hubby had and was a very good portion), scampi + Chips, lasagne and chicken tikka curry. All meals were good portions, we even all had pudding. Staff were nice and would def go back again when back down this way.
d. h.
Meal was very good and reasonably priced. Only criticism was the chip portions are smaller than we used to get .Overall I would recommend to eat here and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
S. D.
Fabulous service, lovely food, didnt have to wait long, would definitely visit again.
C. S.
Very good for normal brewers fayre basic quality but good staff and a nice place.
U. S. L. S. i. S.
Absolutely disgusting today food was terrible and when we told the staff the attitude was shocking.
To quote " Well you didn't have to eat it" then the member walked away shaking her head.
Aye cheers pal. Nice to be nice.
Good luck in this place.
From one business to another. Staff training required...
C. M.
This place is a hit or a miss we where there about 4:30 and they had no carvery left at all
W. M.
Good food, prices ok. Staff could try harder.
J. S.
Excellent food at a great price.
A. H.
I like the free refills on the coffee and the good value soft play.
B. D.
The staff are very nice, the food quality has gone down hill, shame,
F. M.
Very clean, standard pub food selection with a few interesting dishes. Very good selection of drinks and any place with Rekorderlig gets extra points from me! Plenty of barriers between tables, app or online ordering would be even better.
A. P.
Interesting place if you're not local. We ordered and payed at the bar and then got our food at the table. The salmon was ok.
R. G.
This place is fantastic, the staff are brilliant and the food is exceptional. I woke up this morning and it was cold and miserable outside and couldn't be bothered cooking breakfast.Decided to go to the Crooked Glen and as usual we had a outstanding experience. If you haven't tried them before make a point of getting their cooked breakfast, you won't be disappointed. Love this place Robert and Valentina.
J.
All you can eat breakfast for £9.50 excellent
R. B.
Pub grub, always tasty, food arrives quickly,
a. s.
Meal was good and value for money - especially £8.99 for two menu. My bonus points failed to register, however after several e mails customer services did agree to add them. Advise you keep your receipt to check if bonus points added as customer services will ask for it if you are querying points not added to your account.
C. W.
Absolutely fantastic service, all the staff are very helpful, highly recommended this restaurant.
E. A.
There was 4 adults and 3 kids and we all enjoyed our food no complaints from eny of us and great for the kids as they can go and play will be back very soon .
R. B.
Love this place for our monthly get together, good value , the waitress we get is really good , she doesn't rush us out, so will be back in 4 weeks
G. W.
Nice food great service
C. A.
A good experience overall. As we have a 4 year old the soft play was a hit and it was a good price for a reasonable time. Me andMy partner rate the free refills on hot drinks! The food was average, main meal came very quick but wasn't great, yet the deserts took ages but we're worth the wait. Overall a good experience, we would go back.
A. C.
Went during lockdown restrictions with Eat out to Help out deal. Reserved table no problem and felt very safe throughout. Very friendly and helpful staff with table service. Food was delicious and good portions given (especially the starters!)
F. C.
Food was great, quick service, would have been 5 stars but, one of our drinks was wrong, there was no Lasagne just after 6pm and they forgot to bring my barbecue sauce for my smothered chicken, other than that had a delicious meal
G. M.
Staff were great, food was ok 👍
L. E.
Arrived here this morning for breakfast 5 minutes from closing. The lovely girl couldn't have been nicer. Accommodated our requests and nothing was too much trouble for her. She even gave us discount when paying as we were last customers for breakfast today. This staff member is a great asset to your team. Thanks again.
J. T.
Great priced and tasty food, lovely staff. It has a good children's play area with a large indoor climbing frame, and always has plenty of space.
R. Z.
Had the Sunday carvery on Sunday 23rd Feb. Our waitress was Grace and she was fabulous. Attentive and had a great sense of humour which made our visit all the more enjoyable. These was a bit of a mix up with our discount card but it was sorted in a flash. Will visit again and make sure Grace is our waitress.
M. T. E. -. E. S. W. M.
An amazing food on mother's day. Thank you for giving the mums such a beautiful treat! Had a good time
C. F.
Lovely restaurant, tables laid out well, not too close together. Food selection was great. Our 12oz ribeye steaks were cooked perfect to our instruction and the staff were very friendly and efficient. Will certainly return.
L. H.
Ordered the Christmas Dinner it was delicious 😋
B. W.
All brewers are terrible for service in my opinion, there is a children's play area we went with a group of 15 spending a lot of money but still have to pay £3 per child for the play area which closed at 8 and we were ordering food at 7. You have to go up to the bar to order the food and drinks for the table which wasn't easy for 15 people! Food took ages to come out and the only saving grace for this place is that everyone thought the food tasted great honestly couldn't fault the taste but the service has put me off any brewers for good!
T.
Bit run-down and by end of day was desperately needing a good clean.
M. B.
Food was hugely disappointing. Chips were undercooked, burgers missing ingredients. Clearly understaffed as the till staff kept asking for people out the kitchen to come and help. The shift manager was absolutely great though, listened to our complaints and offered us free desserts plus a discount on the meal. Will likely go back again, and hopefully have a better meal next time.
M. D.
It was quite busy but service was fast and came with a smile. We chose from the festive menu. So we had turkey for the main course and trifle and chocolate brownie with ice cream for dessert. It was good value for money.
M. E.
Christmas 🎄 work lunch catered well
M. O.
Not the best experience this time. I must admit it was a busy Saturday afternoon but there is NO excuse for dirty cutlery and I mean old food still on it. Also there was a large dollop of mayonnaise on the table leg right where my husband leg was going to be. The server did deal with it quickly but he didn't look happy when it was brought to his attention. The food was good and didn't take a overly long to arrive. But I wish they had taken an extra few minutes as my burger had several elements missing! I would have liked to have tasted the sloppy joe burger with the cheese sauce and cheddar cheese. The onion rings when the 2 arrived with a slice of cheese were starting to go cold so were greasy. It looked as if there were several people experiencing similar problems as there were lots of white bowls with the odd item in them.
J. D.
Booked which was good as of free spaces for people in the queue. Few food items not available on the menu. Good food at good prices and good dr pepper on draught. Nice staff and allover nice meal out.
M. B.
The standard Brewers Fayre pub-restaurant, identical to all their other ones. Child friendly, reasonably priced for reasonable quality food & a reasonable selection of drinks.
You won't be amazed & you won't be disappointed either.
Edited to add:
Now visited post Covid19 reopening. Staff are friendly, helpful and really making the effort with customers.
Worthy to f praise & now 5 stars.
J. S.
Good food and play area for the kids
C. G.
Had dinner here last night and it was lovely. We all opted for the Sunday roast - my boys got the last of the gammon but there was still turkey and beef for my Husband and I! Staff were really friendly and the place was very clean! Thank You
T. M.
An enjoyable and affordable lunch. My server, Grace, was very attentive and the food was pleasant as always.
I had the ribs with a side of mac n cheese. Nice mac! Well seasoned.
C. F.
Went out for my son birthday meal service was amazing welcoming and relaxing fantastic food and atmosphere will be back again soon
H. M.
Not been to this chain of brewers fayre before but will definitely be going again! Fantastic menu, with plenty options (catered for clean eating mother) friendly staff who are good at their job. Quick service and amazing food. Deserts where great! My family love that you can refill certain drinks as much as you like for one price. Great play area for when we have the kids with us too. We are making this our 'go to' regular restaurant.
L. P.
We had a great time in the soft play for our son's birthday party. The staff were very friendly. The kids loved getting their faces painted and the food went down well too.
S. M.
This is a great place to go. It's clean, the staff are friendly and there's a great choice on the menu to suit everyone. I'll definitely be back 👍
B.
This was a very busy place when we visited, there were a fair few kids running around getting in both the servers and customers way. It was mid week around tea time, so glad we had booked a table. All 4 of us felt the food was standard "pub chain" grub, nothing startling about it. The female toilets in the reasturant part were in need of a clean and freshen up. The staff were both friendly and pleasant, and altho it wasnt a total unpleasant visit, I dont think we will be visiting again anytime soon.
M. H.
Food was OK had better here. I had the mixed grill this time and was looking for the steak found a little square shaped but was mostly fat so left it on the plate. Mixed grill was not worth the price or the waiting time. Remember when you got mixed grill on long plates now small plates & not a lot on it.
c. s.
Food okay nothing great wouldn't go back
R. R.
Started off with not having our booked table in the system but managed to seat 9 of us.
Grace was lovely and great with my kids.
R. L.
The food was hot and well presented. Enjoyed my meal. Staff are friendly. The toilets are well looked after
A. C. O.
I had fish and chips and it was the best i have had in a long time. The staff were lovelt and helpful.
l. g.
Everytime we go on holiday we usually go for our buffet breakfast to fill us up for the day as you dont know when your gonna get a chance to eat again till you reach your destination. Today was different though, we went in paid our money and then told it's not a buffet breakfast, you give an order to the waitress and she brings it to you, after your finished if you want more she will get you more, it's still all you can eat but it's not the same. The food is still good, theres a good selection but again it's not the same. We dont normally go over the score with the food and only take what we will eat but we have seen people and their kids really go overboard so for that I can understand or if its quiet but it was still a bit of a let down today. I dont know if this is seasonal or permanent but I hope the bring it back.
m. p.
Good for Child. They Can play. food is not the Best. .... But is ok!
R. W.
The food was OK and the service was good
D. M.
First time here for breakfast with my daughter and Grandson and was not disappointed. Definitely go again
B. L.
Very friendly service, also food was prompt and tasty
A. S.
Ok, at £9 it's not cheap for a walk in breakfast, but you can help yourself to as much as you like, including all the hot items (three platefuls of full Scottish anyone?). If you're hungry, it's worth it, and the staff seem helpful and attentive too.
N. B.
The place was ok that's all, not enough staff behind bar.
The children's play area was filthy the gents toilets were filthy, the wall in the toilet had poo on the wall, been there two days that I knew of probs a lot longer, cleaners need to look a lot closer at the whole place, the more we looked the worse it became
C. O.
The food was great. Staff are very helpful and friendly.
R. T.
Three of us went for breakfast and all orders were wrong quickly sorted tho and service was good as was the food good value for money 💰
E. M.
If I had read the reviews before visiting I wouldn't have bothered. However, cannot fault the food, service and cleanliness at all. To me and my partner, everything was lovely.
W. N.
We were in at 6pm. Toilets guys needed cleaning. I did inform the staff. They should be checked hourly. One of our meals didn't arrive. We love the CG but it's needing some TLC.
C. S.
NEW brie bites for £4.99 are definitely not worth it. You get 3 triangles of brie with some very mediocre chutney (Branston pickle would have been better than this!) Really poor for £5 when you consider they offer 6 tempura prawns for same price. Very long wait to have order taken and even longer wait to be served. However main course made up for it as the quality after the starter was far superior. Kids meals were ample and they had a great time in soft play despite us arriving without socks and having to pop to nearest shop to buy some because they did not have any to buy on premises. Another wait for service to order kids puddings.
C. C.
Had a nice enough meal. Ordered a chicken tikka which was lovely but not much chicken in it. Was told the macaroni was lovely which my friend had. Lasagne was tasteless which my other friend had. So depends what u order.
K. P.
Great place with the kids soft play. Food is good and service is prompt.
L. T.
I have a milk allergy and usually have to miss out on pudding but the server behind the bar looked through the ingredients list and came up with coconut ice-cream with dairy free hot chocolate sauce. Thought I had died and gone to heaven. So grateful for the extra effort.
M. N.
The staff here are very friendly and competent. Restrouant very clean and ample space to move around. Food here is excellent. Probably the best Brewers Fayre in Scotland. An example for the rest to follow.
E. M.
Good food and a brilliant soft play area for my grandaughter.
M. B.
Friendly staff. Food was good, what you expect for the price. Not sure the prawn cocktail was worth £5.49, I only got 5 prawns! Other than that was as expected
I. T.
Food is very good with an extensive choice. The place is well kept and the staff are efficient, excellent service. Even get doggie bags for desert if you're full up.
M. R.
Food was lovely, service and staff very good too. Thanks.
D. b. (.
Had lovely Christmas day here with family kids loved play area. Lovely food and nice atmosphere 😊
k. j.
Good place for kids to have a play and meal, the foods ok not 5star but still nice.
Over 9s aren't usually allowed into the play area, for 9 and under its good for an hrs play or for adults a meal or pint.
S. S.
Visited here as i was staying in the premier inn next door, this place was really exceptional, the breakfast had a great variety and all was beautifully prepared. All the staff were happy and helpful which didnt go unnoticed. Ibwould definitely visit again and recommend this place :)
I. B.
The staff are friendly and welcoming.. Nothing is too much trouble.. Would highly recommend this place.. The food was amazing and we didn't have to wait to long for it to arrive
A. N.
Lovely restaurant, very pleasant staff and great value.
R. S.
Food realy good, value for money, but as they say laid back, service was shocking to say the least, first time this week Waited over 20min for starters, and today the same for main meal, had to ask, or would still be sitting, and its not busy, shame servers needing guidance to ensure good flows
p. g.

It was a great experience today at The Crooked Glen, very friendly staff and the food we had was excellent will definitely be back again soon.
J. M.
The food is good but the furniture can do with replacing. The arm of the couch my Granddaughter was sitting on was wore right down to the wood. The chair I was on was so sunken it hurt the back of my legs.
N.
I have been going there since it was opened but at the time I didn't have a account and just visited there fora family meal, still a good place to have dinner with family and friends. The atmosphere of the place is good, you can just have a chat with your pals and stuff.
O. T.
Been a couple of times for breakfast and have to say it's delicious, came out hot and quick, staff are very efficient and professional and friendly 👍👍
C. M.

K. A. S.
Food was okay. Fish came out raw first time. Took it back and waited ages on a second piece being recooked. Came out just as the rest of the table finished their meals, so I was eating alone.
C. H.
Waited while granddaughter enjoyed a party. Asked for coffee which was £2.50 and the plesant and busy waitress offered me a complimentary coissant. Thank you an nice hour spent in quiet pleasant surrounding reading
O. G.
Good breakfast buffet for the price
L. S.
Has a variety of options aswell as the kids soft play. Haven't returned for food in a long time after being given uncooked chicken. This was dealt with promptly, however
R. S.
We both had steak it was very tasty and good value.
M. S.
This was our 1st visit for a while but the experience was the same. Food was adequate and the waiting staff were diligent. Table cleared efficiently.

It's pretty much like all the others.
D. G.
An average Brewers Fayre, though very family-friendly with the large soft-play area. Food and service nothing to grumble about, but nothing to write home about either.
J. s.
Very clean and tidy staff very friendly
M. B.
Lovely place. Not very busy and the food was nice.
N. B.
Good food. Good service especially in the conditions that we are in. The tables are separated with screens and a one way system.

Not the best meal I've had. Pub food but think it could be improved! So much competition out there! Could do to up the ante.

Due to unforeseen circumstances out-with our control l called and spoke to the management at Brewers Fayre, Crooked Glen this morning, they have offered to host THE SINGING CHILDREN OF AFRICA at their establishment for dinner on Wednesday 26th October. On behalf of all the children and their charity EDUCATE THE KIDS we would just like to say a very BIG THANK YOU to them for their kindness and hospitality.
H. D.

Staff we great food as always brill . StrNge the table service but always love stopping on the way to knockhill
C. G.
The food is ok and good selection but very slow service and over-priced for this type of place. The deals they lure you in with are not deals at all as what you pay is over the odds.
G. S.
Nice Tikka Masala but the burgers were dry and the steak so full of fat and grisly that it was mostly inedible
Very pleasant and friendly staff
M. M.
food is average, large place and has soft play for kids (you need to pay extra for it though). Food is generously priced
R. M.
Clean tidy. Restaurant food very limited choices.

L. H.
This place has gone off the boil over the last 12 months or so -- we stay at premier Inn next door on a regular basis but I'm afraid the wife and I eat elsewhere due to the fact that at peak periods on the Saturday and Sunday the place was practically desserted and appears to have more staff than customers, something has gone wrong but not being a local I can't put my finger on the problem
D. V.
I've been to a few of Brewers Fayre pubs. This is one of the good ones. The meal was delicious and staff very attentive and friendly.
