By far the best curry I’ve ever eaten at home. Amazing value for money too and quality of service, temperature of food and all round presentation at home was outstanding. I’ve tried a lot of Indians in Dunfermline but this is by far the best. We got chicken pakora, North Indian garlic chicken, a rice, 2 nans and chips for £23, fantastic. Would absolutely recommend going here.

Was here on the 3rd January 23 for dinner. I have not been here in years and it's still as good if not better than ever. The staff, service and food is amazing and the staff go above and beyond to make it an extra special dining experience. The food was so fresh and delicious. Will definately be back

I ordered a takeaway from here last night after it being recommended to me by a friend. I wasn’t disappointed at all. Everything was full of flavour and very much to my taste. I will definitely order from them again. The only negative was that it took over an hour to be delivered, but that wasn’t their fault, as I live in Inverkeithing. I only mention it so people know to be patient because it’s worth waiting on.

Food and service in the restaurant was excellent. Have had take away few times since and food / collection / delivery has been great.

Choose this whilst looking for an Indian Restaurant in the nearby area of our hotel. It was also recommended by one our English colleague. The food wasn’t very Indian though and the taste was so so. It took more time than expected to be served as well. The dishes were prepared with frozen vegetables. The staffs need to work out more as far as hospitality is concerned.

Great restaurant with lots of vegan and vegan gluten free options. The staff know the dishes like the back of their hand when it comes to allergy advice and that comes over as very professional and reassuring. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Everything is delicious and we recommend highly. No 5 star rating until some vegan gluten free desserts are put on the menu but that's the only fault I can speak of. Lovely establishment!

Got the chicken Jalfrezi extra hot. Pilau rice and garlic nan. Absolutely delicious! Best curry I've had in ages. Been telling my mate Kenbo (who is in Saudi Arabia) its worthy of a SOLID 10/10!!! Absolutely fantastic food, served in a beautiful, relaxed environment by staff who really know their menu well. Brilliant, helpful and knowledgeable staff - happy to answer queries and requests and really understand special dietary requirements/food allergies. Even made me a Gluten free chipati - delish!! Visited yesterday evening, it's a bit off the beaten track. Unfortunately the monk fish was off the menu but never the less I really enjoyed my starter of mushrooms in garlic sauce and the king prawn curry was good. Staff very friendly.

Would highly recomend The Royal Bengal. Fantastic place, we came from Ayrshire for a surprise birthday dinner and the food was the best we have tasted in a while. The staff decorated our table with all the balloons etc and brought in the cake with candles lit. It was all just perfect and not a problem for these guys. Will definitely be back next time we're in Dumfermline.

The staff really know their stuff and can tell you instantly what foods contain allergens and what foods are right for you. In almost all cases they can tailor anything to your needs. Vegans please try out this establishment! We cannot recommend highly enough!! Royal Bengal now proudly advertises on Happy Cow. 10/10!!
