Second time eating here with family. Clean,airy and bustling. Had 15 min wait for fresh food which was simple,hot and tasty. Decent portions and reasonable price. Pleasant atmosphere. A good market and toilets on same floor. What's not to like.

Lovely market cafe, selling a good selection of hot and cold food. Love the home made soup and dumpling during the colder months. The hot pies and battered fish are worthy of mention. Great value for money. Staff are always helpful.

Sat down, asked for a few cold sandwiches for the kids and told there would be over an hour wait... For an cold Sandwich? So we left. Perfectly polite staff, and the place seems to have a good buzz...and I understand it was a busy Saturday, but really the place could work on their prioritisation.

All in all it was a nice experience, could have done without the chipped spout on the teapot, but as we agreed, it's not as if we had to drink out of it, less happy with the dirty tray, not exactly hygienic and easy enough to wipe clean between uses.

Great food, and drinks We had a beef roast dinner that was delicious and nicely cooked to perfection. We'll worth a visit best food at cheap prices, lovely desert to follow, served by la couple of lovely girls. Will be back that's for sure.

Discovered this place for the 1st time today (5/1/18). Found upstaurs at the back of the indoor market. I wasn't sure what to expect at 1st as so many of these cafes serve poor food and drinks. I couldn't be more wring about this place. Wow. The food was amazing. I had fish n chips with mushy peas and bread and butter washed down with a pot of tea. It was delicious and the tea was spot on. 4 of us ate there, 2 fish n chips, 1 minted lamb burger and 1 roast sandwich of the day (turkey). Everyone agreed that the food was great. The cafe is clean and tidy with plenty if seating, although today it was very busy people were still managing to find seats. The food came out quickly considering how busy it was and the staff were very friendly. There are lots of things to have on the menu and daily specials too. I'm looking forward to going back again.
