The traditional stuff was very good, someone got a slightly disappointing pizza (just a bit lacking in flavour maybe not enough sauce base or toppings?), but on the plus side everything in the shop was clean and the food was served piping hot.

Opened for lunch time which is a massive bonus. I ordered a kofta wrap from the lunch menu although what I received was big enough to feed two definitely! It came with chips and and salad. The wrap was absolutely delicious! The chips were covered in a really tasty spice which was a pleasant surprise, and the side salad was quite refreshing. To be fair for the price I'd be quite happy with just the wrap as I didn't manage to finish it all. Overall, extremely delicious food, VERY decently priced :).. I didn't get a single napkin or a plastic fork though, which was problematic as the wrap was quite juicy. There is also a little wait as the meat is cooked fresh, but that's always a positive. Highly recommend, just make sure you ask for a napkin and a fork.

Had our first Lebanese experience on Saturday. Where We ordered two shawarma wraps one chicken, one minces spicy mince. We took them back to the local tap room(the hop knocker) to enjoy with a nice cold one.

Mixed review…on one hand the food tastes fantastic, on the other hand the portion we received today was terrible, very small amount of meat in the mixed grill, not great at their prices. And the tubs of garlic sauce are tiny…and they were all only half full, barely 2 desert spoons in each, at £1 a tub it is ridiculous.

Ordered from here many times over the last few years. Besides one or two deserts that weren't up to the usual standards the food has been consistently excellent. Perhaps they could expand upon the menu a little, since I've had Lebanese food abroad (outside of Lebanon), and feel the menu has been a little westernised... unsure if pigeon is legal in the UK to be fair.

Love the chicken shawarma wraps from here, they're consistently good and the garlic sauce is gorgeous. Salad is always fresh but the seasoned chips sometimes have far too much seasoning on them, making them taste very salty. Try the lunchtime special, two wraps for 12 quid and they're huge!

Had the most wonderful lunch delivered today which consisted of a extra plentiful mixed grill and chicken burger (which was packed full of fresh chicken). The presentation was superb and the flavours subtle and delightful. Thank you. Compliments to all concerned.

Lebaneat Express is a fine takeaway in Gilesgate, County Durham. The cusine served is always fresh, cooked to perfection & delicious. The service provided is excellent & the cost for this cuisine is reasonable in my view.

Tasty Lebanese food offered as takeaway and delivery. There are two "Lebaneat" restaurants in the city centre. The offering is mostly grilled meats/kebabs and pizza.

Excellent takeaway, as an avid fan of Lebanese food I have been going to get a takeaway from here for months. I live 20miles away so my timing was off till Tuesday 2nd June when my journey back down the A1 coincided with the lunch time opening hours! Despite a restricted luncheon menu (totally understandable) and having to reheat (tin foil, warm oven, 15mins) the food (chicken and lamb mains) it was all scrumptious. Took all four starters and they lasted over two meals with the bread (which whilst not true Lebanese bread was still delicious). Definitely looking forward to the next one. The reason I only gave four stars was that they forgot the garlic sauce (which the lamb really kinda needed🥴) that the parking was a nightmare (not really their fault but be aware it's horrendous during the day) and they didn't take cards only cash ........eat and enjoy👍😎😁

Great food, good price. The Chicken Schwarma wrap is the best I've found in the UK. I introduced my partner to the falafel and hollumi and she was instantly hooked. The chips are so tasty and well above what you'd expect for a takeaway and the portions are perfect. Absolutely recommend ordering from here!

I go past this place all the time and it always smells amazing. I finally got round to having one recently. It was really nice, but not quite as nice as I had decided it was going to be before I knew what I was going to get. Hence 4* because I expected it to be mind blowing.

This is an absolutely top quality takeaway. I had the mixed kofta wrap with chips. The chicken kofta was the best I've tasted so far. This place deserves its rating. The chips were not my cup of tea but you can tell this is a very good takeaway the moment you walk in. I will be sampling the other choices as long as I am working away. I Wish it was in my town. This is a hidden gem I wish them every success for making such a great effort. Maybe they can share some receipes with me. 😉

First time at this Lebanese takeaway. Great variety of food which was not expensive and very tasty. Great alternative to Indian and Chinese. Large portions so you don't need to go crazy ordering starters and multiple mains. Recommended.

Pay attention people..... I discovered this takeaway purely by chance and I kid you not the food here is out of this world !!!!! Since we discovered the place 3 weeks ago we've ordered and picked up from here another 4 times even though we live 17 miles from it so that's a 34 mile round trip. The chips and rice (yes even the rice) are amazing and the choice on the menu is great. The Place delivers within an 8 mile radius so if you love your food then this place is a must. The shop is beautifully decorated and is immaculately clean. Honestly it's like having restaurant quality food but at home. A big 10 out of 10 from me.

Thoroughly fed up of cooking for ourselves we reached out for some great food. We’ve eaten at the Durham restaurant a number of times and also got take out from there. Today was the first time of trying take out from the Express branch. The online ordering was simple, the food order was lamb and chicken kebab, both with salad, and some humous with shawarma. The food was estimated to take 55 minutes to arrive. We were pleasantly surprised that it arrived a little early. It was well packaged and looked very appealing. We tucked into our dinner and thoroughly enjoyed it.
