The menu is diverse & very tasty meals are served here. My wife had the Rack of Lamb which were served over ratatouille with mint yogurt. My son had the Beef Wellington & I had a vegetarian Smoked King Oyster Mushroom dish. We were all more than pleased with our meals. The setting is cool too, it’s in a 13th Bakery cellar. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The two/three course lunch deal here is such a good deal! You get effectively the same quality of really delicious, nicely plated food for a lower price. Would definitely recommend for a special occasion

Nice restaurant and decent food, we both had Beef Wellington at £30 each. The service was great, Sophie was very helpful and even gave us recommendations of where to visit on our stay.
We were sat near a till and next to stairs so lots of people passing by which wasn't ideal. Only real gripe was paying £34 for a screw top bottle of red that was cold. I'd say its not too much to expect red wine at room temperature....
Overall would recommend

Popped in Wednesday afternoon to take advantage of the lunch set menu as it looked good value for money. Food was excellent service was good. Id definitely be back.

Friendly efficient service especially considering our group size but food flavours were a little basic. Definitely seemed to have gone for quantity over quality and made the courses sound far more complex than they were

What an amazing restaurant! This is a proper hidden jem which serves fantastic food, one of those places that you wished they were where you live. I had goat cheese and melon for starter and Jerusalem artichokes risotto with black truffle. My husband had scotch eggs for starter and seabass for main. Everything was cooked with a twist but cooked to perfection. The prices are actually very reasonable for those high standards they have. Really our compliments to the chef(s)!

Loved this place. Booked for 2pm lunch and asked if we could push back till later, which was no problem. Hidden gem just off Sadler Street. All the waiting staff were so friendly, welcoming, professional and polite. Took a while to place our order but we weren’t in a hurry. We were asked if we had any allergies or dietary needs which is so refreshing to hear. Both the drinks and food were amazing. Our table overlooked the river and bridge which was beautiful. I was particularly impressed to see have thoroughly the staff washed the tables and chairs after guests. Great value also. We were surprised to see they have a herb and vegetable garden at the back which is great to see.

Lovely place with really great service. The starters were excellent (Turkey Kiev and the Jersey royals). For mains the beef wellington was excellent, the lamb rack dish had a lot of elements that maybe didn't really go well together but tasted great individually. Sadly we didn't have space for dessert!

Delicious sunday roast (lamb) which came with yummy sides. Chocolate fondant was decadent. Very happy with the food.
Service meant it didn't get 5 stars. My dessert came before my main, waited for my real dessert too long, and the bill wasn't correct.
