I really dislike ordering from touch-screens but in this Burger King it was mandatory. Otherwise, the food was OK & came reasonably quickly. We got a table without issue. The staff were not unfriendly. So, yeah... Neither good not bad: OK.

I had a bacon double xl meal which I added an extra patty and halloumi and I also had chilli cheese bites. Service was quick and excellent my only grievance was due to covid there not giving soft drinks in cups but you have to pay 20p extra for a bottle which I think is unreasonable for the price.

I am personally not a bid fan of fast food like macdonald's and KFC. Burger King was better but last year we visited to a chain near our home and I thought it was the last time I would be eati g here. The twist is, this summer while visiting Edinburgh we happen to go to the chain in city centre and wow! The new menu with halloumi and vegi options were wonderful. 👍🏻 Worth a try!

So as BK goes a 3* review is the best to really expect. This is sad for such a new branch. Food is cooked to standard and branch run to procedure (but almost too much). Expect to wait a while for single item and simple orders as orders are prioritised on a 1st gone 1st serve basis rather than clearing their backlogs of orders which would take <30secs to fulfill. A combination of poor management and too many new colleagues. A shame but tasty and average as expected for any BK.

Order was delayed, took the lads 20 mins to push out a whopper menu without much of a backlog of orders. Felt bad for the lad that was taking the orders because he had to keep apologising to people coming up to the till. The burger was lukewarm and the fries were stale, got 2 extra cheeseburgers and they looked like the tilting tower of Pisa. It's the boys in the kitchen that aren't really up to par, nothing wrong with the place other than that.

Food was good. The restaurant is a bit overrun with litter and messy tables. But it is very busy all the time being a city centre branch. No problems for take out as waiting for food is normal whenever you order, arrived as expected and piping hot. Will definitely go back again

It's good to have a BK back on Princes Street. They have self service machines where you can order your meal, it gives you a number, and you can see whether it's 'In Progress' or 'Ready' on a mounted screen. It can get a bit crowded around the tills sometimes, between folk who have already ordered and those still waiting to order at the tills. The self service drink machines are right next to the tills as well which sometimes doesn't help with the crowding. I wish they made your order number more prominent on your food tray so you're sure you've got the right one, and made the screen where it shows the order progress more visible so folk are more aware of when their order is ready.

If you want tasty fast food, Burger King is the right place. The Princes Street restaurant is clean and tidy. A little slow at times and sometimes runs out of drink flavours. BK is a little pricier than it's competitors but I think the extra taste (and burgers you don't have to ask for adjustments to get rid of the sauce and pickles) is worth it.

Staff friendly enough. Quick service screens easy to use. Still had a bit of a wait for food afterwards so I'm guessing only benefit is to reduce staff numbers. Drinks machine great but some options missing on all the machines. One disabled /baby change facility so had a bit of a wait for one gent (not disabled or with a child).. Not bks fault but more of a plea for readers not to be idiots.

Great new layout. Big drinks dispensers like in Five Guys so you can get refills. Nice touch. Bags of small chips seem to have got smaller. No bad thing, I guess. Whopper tastes the same as always.

I was pleasantly surprised here as the precautions were excellent. Sanitiser as soon as you walk in. To sit in you have to give your name and telephone number for test and trace. Very well marked out and staff were very helpful.

I'm very disappointed in the breakfast selection. There were no breakfast style baps at all. No biscuits, muffins, or croissants. Which means no croissanwich for anyone searching for one (me). They only had seedless hamburger baps for all of their breakfast sandwiches. The dinner/lunch menu was fine, though they put way to much mayo on the chicken sandwich (not sure if that's a Uk thing). Mostly clean, but they have some trouble keeping up during crunch times.

They've gotten upgrades since the last time I visited one of their restaurants. I have to say though they look a lot like McDonalds now with their touch screen kiosks and all. And for some reason they were out of all deserts, including icecream. Never have I visited a BK that had deserts... I wonder why they advertise that they sell deserts if they're not going to put in the effort to actually keep them in stock.
