Just had the non vegetarian set meal for two from here and I must say it was outstanding every single thing was so full of flavour and it arrived still nice and hot. The other good thing was that we could change the curry’s on the set menu to the one that we preferred. Well done cinnamon 👍

The food was excellent ! The Dahl and Lamb Katmandou were really good and the veggie rice is very tasty and full of veggies. The naans are huge ! (Even though the garlic naan could have more garlic). The staff is really nice and they can adapt the spicy level to your needs.
We did take away and it was ready in 15mins as expected.
I recommend !

This was our first taster of the menu delivered and it was brilliant! All the dishes tasty and appropriately packaged and hot. And very more-ish. Looking forward to our next dinner with Cinnamon!

I've been recommended this establishment for ages now and decided to give it a visit and have to say I wasn't disappointed. Prices were quite good compared to other takeaways in the area. I ordered the Vindaloo and it was a right 'Toilet Paper In The Freezer' job. It tasted like the classic curry of days gone by which is rarely seen in restaurants today. Curry had a delicious smokey taste which reminded me of smoked Naga chillies and the onion rice was a lovely accomplice to set the meal off. I will try this place again to make sure it wasn't a one off.

We placed an order on the website which said it would take 1 hour to come. It was delivered within the hour, piping hot and absolutely delicious. The portion sizes are great too! Not a bad thing to say, will definitely order again. Very pleased to have found this great takeaway not far from home!

Having been a regular customer since Cinnamon opened. The food on offer is usually very good and I have had no grounds for complaint on that level. Sadly the owner who comes across as a nice man has a different side to him. Having twice over the period of the last year had short delivery ,one of which was only a portion of rice, which must have cost him all of 5p but was an integral part of the meal, he was unhelpful and abusive. The man is obviously strapped for cash even though the business is always busy , perhaps the tax man is taking too much? In any case I will not be giving him any more business , which means I miss out on a decent curry which is a shame , I will also encourage and inform all of my friends and family in Portobello about just how rude and mean he is , I may even start a collection for this rude , money grabbing man. Peter.

Never let us down once. Every meal they make is exceptionally good. Fresh incredibly tasty and never over the top chilli wise. Yet to find anyone to beat them in Edinburgh.
