Chicken pieces were lovely. Delivery time was a little late but not bad for Christmas eve. Korma too spicy could not finish it. Nann bread had some sort of garlic paste on it instead of fresh garlic. It looked and tasted pretty bad.

I’ve recently become a vegan, and Dangal is one of my favourite veg restaurants. Their veg menu is delicious and flavourful. If you want to eat mouthwatering vegan dishes, then dangal is the perfect place to dine.

Food is so good and being Indian specially from North side, I must say that food was so authentic. I visited multiple places in UK and most of the places it was modified version of food with very high prices whereas food here was authentic and price wasn't high as others. I couldn't explore any other Indian restaurant in Edinburgh but if I am sure that one won't disappoint with this restaurant. Happy to be here and thanks for serving such a nice food. It will be great if restaurant could add some details about car parking as I couldn't find one and reached through a bus!

First time customer. Fast delivery, lovely staff on phone and delivering. I am often hosted by Indian friends, so I know what real flavours of the dishes are. The Saag aloo was well flavoured but totally overpowered by salt. The other two vegetarian dishes were disappointing in a similar gravy , which should not have been the case and "heat" masked their flavour. Dangal has a good reputation and perhaps my expectation was too high. There might have been a different chef tonight, I will try again .

I can gladly say that this is the an excellent Indian Restaurant serving only authentic and flavoursome Indian dishes. Every bite, is more satisfying than the last and the customer service is truly impeccable. I was served by Shiva and Nikhil who made me feel welcome and at home as soon as I walked through the door. They provided various recommendations and even gave some complimentary dishes to myself as a gift for staying in Edinburgh temporarily. My wife and I had a lovely meal here this evening. Quality food, cooked with care and obviously not the 'reheated meat in a precooked sauce' you get in many places. Waitress Ashari was very friendly and helpful, as were all staff. Wish we lived closer, we would be regulars!

Benjamin, one of his friends told me to order at Edinburgh because they had the best Kebab. Yes, indeed! Edinburgh had the best meaty, tender kebab! I am happy to know new restaurant I can order to.

I probably give it three to four stars it was a little bit too salty the starter. Vegetable korma and rice was okay - a little bit spicy however I did not mind this. Unfortunately compared to a Birmingham curry it did not make 5 stars. Suggestion would be maybe add less salt to pastry and more flavour. Delivery was prompt.

I realize that treating a person nicely in a simple way is a big help in making them feel like they’re not alone. The crew in Dangal showed compassion and care to me. I was having a hard time during the day I visited the place. The crew, I think, saw me and felt the baggage I am carrying inside me. The person comforted me and even made me smile. I gave her a tip and she refused. She said that it is part of her job to make every customer smile. That is why I am happy that this restaurant trained their staff well and thank you to that person. Sadly, I forgot to ask the name. Hopefully, we’ll meet again when I visit Dangal.

Customers are like a ticking bomb that needs to be taken care of. I am one of the customers who once disappointed to a service offered will never be going back to that place again. Dangal, however, never disappoints me. This restaurant knows what I want and need. They always treat not just me but ALL of their customers rightly. An absolute gem of a place. We have eaten here several times since it first opened and the welcome and food have always been first class. We have tried several different curries and they have all been really delicious. Impossible to pick a favourite ( although a special mention for the onion bhajis ). AMAZING! Honestly the best Indian food I’ve had in Edinburgh. I had the Tikka Masala (yes I know… how very basic of me 😂) but was absolutely blown away! Best I’ve ever had. Have enjoyed 2 meals from Dangal now, no complaints about the food,, the dishes I've tried from Dangal are chicken korma and the lamb Mahkini. Being a good distance I expect delivery to have to negotiate traffic hence the late deliveries. Not to fussed as I'm sure if I was closer the delivery would be timely as estimated. Both times I called and spoke to someone, they where very pleasant and and reassuring. Thanks Dangal for delivering to to the area where I live when is clearly more hassle than normal deliveries.
