Great meal here! They are operating a queuing system outside to limit people mingling inside while waiting to order. The queue moved very quickly - we placed an order and then we're sat eating in 10 mins! Love that all extra toppings are free. Worth noting that the large fries were more than a two person portion! Burger was juicy and not overcooked. Delicious.

Great food! Very tasty with generous portions and the staff were pleasant and helpful. I recommend you sit up stairs if you don't want the background music to be as loud as it is downstairs. It's noticeably quieter if you sit upstairs near the windows. Free pop refills are great and buying one portion of large fries gave all three of us enough fries with our burgers. The milkshakes are delicious.

Five Guys is very filling, you can choose your burger toppings and milkshake flavours. Has great indoor seating with a good view of the city. Would recommed going with family. The staff are very friendly too.

What a nice place.I like the whole American vibe it has.I liked the fact that you know where your potatoes for your fries come from,it was a nice addition.What makes this place different is that your food gets served in a brown paper bag with your order on the front.Although I like a burger I tried the hotdog, it was a "proper" dog not your cheap version.However I would steer clear of the grilled cheese sandwich,its not a sandwich and the cheese is processed.But apart from that it's still a nice place to eat

This is one of those places that just pleasantly surprises, the efficiency of a large fast food chain with the care and attention to detail of a local takeaway shop. Ingredients are locally sourced, chips hand cut in store and staff are friendly and helpful. One of the best burger experiences I've ever had.

I don't think I've ever eaten such tasty hamburger in my life! If they would branch out to Finland they'd be my favourite place to go to eat a burger. Their fries are made from proper potatoes with skin still on and i received definitely way more fries than it was fitting in the cup they serve them. 😅 If I could give more than five stars, I definitely would.

I tried the one in Edinburgh because I like the one here in the Trafford Centre. The food is good always more chips than any other fast food company give you. The hot dogs are good and lots of extras to make it your own. As with Manchester the staff are well trained and very pleasant probably part the the training which is nice to see. You will wonder why I gave it 4 stars after a glowing review. One big issue is price many people have said they like it but the cost is higher than other fast food. As you know Big mac chips drink about £7 -£8 Hotdog (plain) chips bottle water £10.10 and multiple the extra by 4 people you are paying for an extra person. Don't be put off the spiced chips are excellent the drinks like coke orange etc are refillable as much as you like. Try it and see you will enjoy it maybe a treat now and then because the food is excellent.

Good burger, but didnt matter you eat there or take away, you get it in the bag which made it inconvinient, maybe the person at the register misstook it as take away but I prefer a trey if I sit it in and the fries where thrown in the bag which made it hard to dig it all out. Large, tasty (and very messy) burgers. Very simple menu (burger with or without cheese and/or bacon then add your choice of toppings). The fries are also very good. Much better (but a bit more expensive) than the common burger chains, easily as good as (and a bit cheaper than) the upmarket ones.

Awesome burger. Just been with my girlfriend to eat something. We bought two bacon burgers, one regular drink (feel free to refill), one water bottle and one medium fries. We spent £26.50, that is not too much considering the quality of the burger. Unfortunately we were starving, so we couldn’t take a picture of the burger. it wasn’t too big, but it was A W E S O M E. I would suggest to buy fries as well. They come in a paper glass and they seem endless. Definitely a place I will go back to.

Used the click and collect option and it worked seamlessly. Certainly a wee bit more expensive than a normal takeaway burger and fries, but definitely feel it was worth the extra premium. Burger was really tasty as were the fries (pretty sure I got an accidental double portion - there were loads). Probably not somewhere I would eat all that often, but I am really glad I tried it out. Well worth a look if you want something like McD's, but fresher and tastier.

Good quality as you would expect from Five Guys. This is a city centre location, with limited seating downstairs and a steep staircase to more seating upstairs. Very cramped area for waiting for food collection. The drinks machines and ketchup dispenser are also in this area, which can be awkward when it is busy (as it often is). Could do with more staff on the floor cleaning and refilling the dispensers - seems less organized than the other Five Guys restaurants that I have been in. Convenient location, though. Update: the organisation of staff for food preparation, cleaning and clearing seems to have improved, so tables are regularly cleaned and the queues seen to be served quicker. Service is always polite and friendly.

Almost 9 pounds for a squished and some how dry burger is a no for me. The place was clean. The employees were polite and helpful. I wouldn't visit it again for burger.

Yesterday was the exception as the order for my was wrong and the replacement burger patty seemed to be only half the size it should have been. The service at Fountain Park Five Guys so far is the best and we'll be going back there in future.

Great burger and the fries were fantastic! One thing to watch though, is that the burger will have practically nothing on it if you don't ask for the extras! They are "free" and come on a separate menu, which I almost missed. Thankfully the girl behind the counter was very friendly and helpful and pointed this out to me so I could design the burger to my own tastes. The only reason I haven't given five stars is the price... seems rather expensive for what you get, but still... was a great burger!

Yea burgers are rad. Except I have an allergy to beef so I have to get the vegetarian burger a lot. Thankfully the veggie burger here is great. The bread's great, the cheese is great, the mushrooms and capsicums are great. It's all great. Also great are the fries, milkshakes, and customer service. They know they make good burgers so they like working there. Even the venue is great. The view from the window booths is my favourite and the toilets are always clean. Five stars for five guys :)

One of the best burgers I ever have had. The milkshake was really good. I had cheeseburger with bacon on and a strawberry milkshake. The chips portion standard are big size, more than enough for two or three people. The chips are hand-cut and really good as well. The only thing I can complain about is the sound level. Really noisy. It was hard to have a conversation. Eat without talking the food is worth your attention.

Oh gosh the burgers are incredible! I really recommend to first get a small burger (one patty) and the next time get a regular one, if your stomach fits :) same thing for the chips the small one are enough for a nice side for two, they always gets you more in the bag! The patties are cooked to perfection and the fact that you can completely change the garnishment as you prefer makes the combination virtually infinite

Burgers are decent but could be a little bit bigger. Ingredients were fresh and i liked being able to select my burger fillings. Also, double patties by default is nice. Fries tasted better than they looked. Selection of bottomless soda was great including a variety of flavours of Coke and Sprite I never knew existed. Staff were friendly and helpful. They do this thing where they dump a large amount of fries into the bag. I know why they do this and I'm not stupid but honestly it's so wasteful - by the time one is finished with their burger and the already generously sized cup of fries, the bag fries are cold and there is just so much. It feels like a terrible waste and not worth the "effect". Rather just use a bigger cup if you want to give us the feeling of good value. That being said, a recommended experience. They lose a star for price because it is certainly not cheap, and for tossing two (subsequently cold and uneaten) portions of chips in the bag.

The food here is immense. For so long I thought it was just hype, this country wants to turn in to America so badly. But I finally caved and did not regret it! I would recommend if you're getting fries to order the little burger, portions are huge! Everything is cooked fresh, and tastes like good quality ingredients too. I would recommend getting a milkshake too. They're more expensive than most people want to pay but so worth it! The menu might seem small but you can custom your burger to what you like so there's more options than there initially appears to be. Definitely somewhere you should give a go at least once!

Usually great but last visit to Edinburgh not so. Cold burger, warm soft drink and 3/4 the normal size of fries. Standards dropping. I did feedback but have heard nothing back. Hopefully a temporary glitch but I expect much better from the prices charged here.

Burger was good but you'll need plenty of cash. I had a cheeseburger and small fries, £11.90! You build your own, large list of toppings and same price applies so better value if you fully load your burger, poorer value if you like a basic burger. You're also at risk of making a real mess of it by just adding every topping available. It reminded me a bit of Super Duper burgers in the States, who are superb, good size, tasty and the small fries is a big portion and they are crispy, unlike other limp cold fries you often get elsewhere.

The burgers are pretty expensive for a non table service place. I paid £9 for a burger alone which is a bit too expensive. I won't be going back again because of this as you can get the same quality for better value at other places with table service.

It's a great real world example of the emperors new clothes! Burgers are fine, cooked to order with a choice of toppings, and the size of portions is huge (a large fries is enormous!) but it's the best part of £20 for large fries, burger and a drink! I could go to a proper restaurant, sit at a table and be served by a waiter, have my food brought to me on actual plates, and drink from a glass instead of a paper cup for less. It has its place - if you want a quick bite then it's OK, but there are cheaper and faster establishments, and if you want a tasty burger then there are much better places out there that offer a proper dining experience for the same money. They have managed somehow to convince everyone that it's worth twice the price of macdonalds, but, in my opinion, its marginally better, not twice as good.

The most delicious burgers and fries you can eat. You need to try Five Guys out. You can have as many different toppings you want on your burger all very tasty. I find that downloading the app and ordering online is good so you're not rushed at the till when ordering. My personal favourite, bacon cheese burger with, light hot sauce, double jalapenos, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, ketchup, mayonnaise and tomatoes. Lost my five guys virginity today. Shared a burger, chips & juice. £15 which is a great price in a restaurant but it's a fast food place. We got some sort of cajun spice on th chips. It's was far to much. I reccomend asking for it separately & adding the amount you want. The burger was dry as we didn't get a sauce on it. The staff member who served us was really nice & friendly. One thing I will note is there is a in & exit at either side of the store. The problem is the entrance has no step & a ramp to the ordering point. Once server there is two steps to the seating area & two steps to get out. So it's difficult to leave in a wheelchair or with a buggy. Not that it's against the law to go out the in door but they obviously do this for a reason ie when it's busy which could be difficult for some people.

Five Guys is not a common fast food place. I call it Holy Temple of Burgers. It's a bit expensive but...guys come on it's Five Guys. Best double cheeseburger in the world. I am not that much of a burger fan however sit me in a Five Guys and I would eat like 5 burgers. They are literally the best burgers I’ve ever had in my life and you are able to customise them any way you like! I've heard a lot of people rave about Five Guys. It didn't quite live up to hype. Yes, it's nice being able to specify all the details of your burger. Yes, the fries and the meat patties are quite good. However, it's pricey for what you get, the cheese is still processed cheese and the bins are standard hamburger buns. You can get a very similar burger in most low-end gastro-pubs for about the same price and enjoy a pint.

I go to Five Guys but I’m not sure why. It is really expensive - the burgers are alright but nothing more. The USP seems to be far too many choices of topping and a vast range of soft drink options from Coca-cola machine. That such a machine can produce so many different drinks just confirms that it is a bunch of artificial flavourings mixed together. It’s also really quite slow - a good 10 minutes from ordering to food. You can get a much nicer burger from Burger King for half the price or pay about the same for a better product in Byron - it’ll be no slower and you’ll sit somewhere nice. I just do not get it.

Having never been to Five Guys before, two thing stood out. Firstly, the atmosphere is more akin to a McDonalds then a relaxed burger restaurant - which I guess is fine as that's what the chain is marketed as. However the prices are in keeping with a meal at a nice restaurant and when you're in (not the cleanest) McDonalds style surroundings then you start to wonder what you're paying for. Having said that, the food was delicious. Burgers were clearly made with high-quality beef and ingredients and the range of toppings and sauces was impressive. The portion of fries we shared easily fed two. And the service was speedy. But coming in at £24 for two little bacon cheeseburgers, a portion of fries to share and two cokes just seems a bit much, especially when there are other places in Edinburgh offering delectable burgers for less or comparable prices in nicer surroundings - like SmokeStack, the Boozy Cow and even some of the burger joints on Lothian Road. Great concept, shame about the over-inflated prices!

So after seeing Dayum Drops review on this, I had to try it and boy it was good. The selection of ingredients for the burgers is great as is the selection of soft drinks. The burgers are extremely tasty and the fries are delicious, especially with the cajun seasoning. My wife is a coeliac and got the lettuce wrap and loved it. Even my 4 year old daughter loved her meal. As we dont have this in Australia, we kept coming back and it never disappointed. One day hopefully Australia gets it!

It's Five Guys. It's the same as every other Five Guys: good, reasonably fast burgers, fries and shakes. Extremely close recreation to the American original, except fewer nuts.
