Very quickly becoming my favourite lunch spot. The food is always freshly made - and the staff always so lovely and chatty, even when it’s very busy. It does get busy during the lunch rush, but that’s just a testament to the fact that the food is universally good! Try the soup, perfect cold-weather food.

Fox and Co recently catered for breakfast for the bride and bridesmaids on the morning of the wedding.It was delicious and fresh. The variety provided kept everyone full until the reception in the afternoon.The following day Fox and Co also catered for the garden party.There was plenty of choice and once again the food was delicious and fresh. The portions were very generous and all the guests remarked how amazing the food was. The delivery service was perfect with the food delivered on time and well presented. Brilliant and an excellent contribution to a happy time.

Their scones are so delectable, I could eat two of them in one sitting! They are moist inside and still flaky on the outside and are each a substantial size. Highly recommend with jam!

Absolute gem of a wee cafe in the West End. Such a good selection of sandwich fillings and salads and all reasonably priced. Everything is freshly made using good quality ingredients, meats etc. Wouldn’t go anywhere else for a soup and a sandwich. Rocky road is illegally tasty too.

Absolutely outstanding food and service! I love this place - their burgers are the best I’ve ever had, soups to die for and currently tucking into a veggie curry that is so good I had to sign in to google to write a review. Also try their veggie haggis and fried egg roll fro breakfast - delicious! 10/10 keep up the good work!

Great homemade food with competitive prices. Been going for a few weeks now and never been disappointed. Thursdays is now a staple for the steak pie, beans and chips along with Friday for their famous Fish and Chips with tartare sauce 🤤 I personally feel you would struggle to find a better place for lunches in the West End of Edinburgh, in fact the whole of Edinburgh.

If I had to choose a single place to go for lunch each day this would be my choice. I am yet to be disappointed with anything I have gotten from fox and co. Each and every item I've had from the menu at lunch has been excellent. The hot meals and hot rolls are particularly nice and are always prepared to an exceptional standard. The prices are also very reasonable and competitive with other lunch places in the area.

Andrew and the staff have supplied our catering for meetings and events at the Chartered Banker Institute for over a year and a half. We are always pleased with the delicious food and the fabulous service. Big thank you to them. Even when we aren't catering, I can't resist the coffee and scones each time I pass. Lovely food, great atmosphere - well worth checking out.

Absolutely top notch pies had at the weekend - can't recommend the chicken and haggis highly enough! Had veg too which had a delicious garlicy dressing over it. Superb stuff!

Great hot lunch options. Served quickly and with a minimum of fuss. Try the steak pie on a Thursday you won't regret it (until a about 3pm when your nodding off in a meeting). Totally worth it 😄

I worked close to Nikkis for years but moved abroad a couple of years ago. While back in Edinburgh I decided to go for lunch because the food was always delicious. I love the change of name and update to decor. Only 3 stars because of the service. Quite brisk, told us twice they would be closing in 45 minutes. I get it, it's been a long day. Then forgot to add salad to one of the 2 meals ordered. When I pointed it out I was argued with that it hadn't been requested. It was. Don't argue with your customers, just correct the mistake!! Felt rushed and uncomfortable.

Nikki's did our club's function on Saturday night and it was outstanding. Everything was booked via email, we picked our menu and Nikki's did the rest. The food was superb and piping hot too. I'd have no hesitation in choosing Nikki's again.

if you work anywhere near william st there's no doubt you'll have been here for a hot meal! everything is freshly made on the day and the selection is great. as well as breakfast rolls they have a choice of a different soup/quiche/flatbread/scone and about 5 hot dishes everyday at lunch so there's always something new to try - sandwiches and baked tatties with a vast choice of filling as well obviously! the staff are all lovely and despite the queues it's usually like clockwork. it's a must try (especially if you're lucky enough to go on chilli wedges day)
