Amazing fish and chips! The sweetest couple run this place. Fish is cooked fresh to order and was truly delicious. Flakey and perfect. Great chips too. Lovely lovely people who deserve local support! The shop is like it’s out of the 80s and my partner and I loved grabbing the fish suppers and eating on the beach.

Great fish&chips, had to be tasty coming out of so friendly kitchen! Family atmosphere from the owner and his daughter made it a great experience and the fish was spot on. Highly recommend for grabbing (quite large) portion for lunch and strolling down to the promenade. Freebie haggis from the owner was also a great touch. And it was delicious! Come in, have a nice chat with the owners and enjoy your very delicious Fish & Chips at the beach (5 minute walk, max). We ate it with vinegar and brown sauce. It was so good! Loved it. Hopefully again soon :)

If you go to Portobello Beach, walk two minutes from the promenade and have the BEST fish and chips. Sweet couple run it. Beautiful tender large portion of fish. Made fresh to order. Reasonable price. Other items look good too, pizza, sausage, Grab it and go back to the beach. Don't miss it.

By far the best chippy in Porty! I would recommend their spicy haggis supper as it's the best I've had anywhere. The owners are a lovely couple and are always very welcoming. It really does make a massive difference when you get cheery service and a friendly chat. 10/10

A great chip shop that can be found in the Main Street in Portobello. Run by Italian husband and wife team serving freshly prepared pizzas, jacket potatoes, I even spotted a battered ribeye steak in the hot display cabinet as well as the famous fish and chips that are cooked to order, for me that is a really good sign of a well run chip shop where the food is fresh and not sitting in a hot box for ages. Crispy batter and cooked just right. I did notice that a plastic sheet A5 size was placed on top of the fish to stop it from sticking to the paper what a great idea, this shop is a must for anyone passing by
