Out of all the vegan restaurants I went to in many different countries, this is by far the best vegan restaurant! The taste of the dishes is amazing and so fresh. The waiters are also very friendly. Can highly recommend! Book your table in advance though

Incredible place. The quality of food is outstanding and the staff honestly incredible, fast service, they recommend you different dishes and are interested in your opinion. The local is not noisy, good level of light not too intense nor dark, peaceful place overall. Long list of dishes so good that it is even difficult to believe they are vegan. I will repeat without any doubts and will recommend it to everybody.

Delicious vegan twist on Italian recipes: the result is a tasty menu of well presented food. Quite a few gluten free options available despite most dishes being pasta and pizza based. Wide selection of Italian liqueurs. Friendly service, there was only one chef in the kitchen (Sunday lunchtime) but overall food got to the table resonably quickly, also considering we were a party of seven. Booking recommened as it's a small restaurant. Prices: around £11-15 a portion, we ended up spending £20 each for a shared roman focaccia, a main and a digestif. Would recommend to vegan and non vegan friends alike!

An absolute must if you’re vegan/veggie and crave an extensive menu full of delicious options. We would come back every night if we could. I had the spaghetti carbonara and my partner had the seitan pizza and we were blown away by the portion sizes and the quality. It’s such a cosy little place so booking is a must! Our waiter was really friendly and the whole atmosphere was perfect. One of the best meals out we’ve had for ages!

Very excited to try this fully vegan restaurant that even the omnivores will like. Would recommend booking. Lots of menu choices, but we ended up going for a creamy cheesy gnocchi and a seitan steak, both full of flavour and large portions. Unsure why the pasta had to be served in a pan, but maybe that's just a personal preference for a plate or bowl. The homemade tiramisu for dessert was perfect. Sadly, we were let down by the creme brulé, which similarly to other reviewers, we found to be gloopy and watery. By that point though, we were too full to mind! All in all, a lovely venue and atmosphere, and the service was immepicable. Keen to go again.

Wow, the food here is amazing! I'm sure even carnivores will love it here. We had the carbonara pasta (which I couldn't even tell was actually vegan if you didn't ask me) and one of the pizzas (not sure which one but it was great). I would recommend this place if you're vegan or vegetarian but also if you're on any other diet. Everything you'll eat here will be super tasty. The portions are really big too. Try to book in advance because the restaurant is popular and quite small.

As a lover of real cheese and an enthusiastic devourer of all sorts of fish I went with my vegan daughter to Novapizza for her birthday dragging my heels a bit. I have to say I had a great meal. The 4 "cheese" and mushroom bruchetta was delicious as was the truffle tagliatelle. The lemon "cheese" cake also was great, not suffering from lack of cheese. Great friendly staff and a nice vibe.

The best cacio e pepe I’ve ever had. The penne a la vodka was also delicious. My mom said it was the best aubergine Parmesan she’s ever had. The carbonara was also really tasty. It is a bit pricey though. Friendly staff.

It is so great to have a place like this. As an Italian, it was so exciting to see all those vegan options of dishes I am fond of. The food is good quality and I am amazed by how well the recipes are recreated. For instance, the Gorgonzola actually tasted like Gorgonzola--miraculous! Finally, the service was the best! Food was delicious, different types of vegan cheeses, great variety of pizzas and pastas, the girl serving us was very friendly and food was served promptly. Such an excellent place for vegan food, but with the authenticity of Italy. I had the pasta alla salmone and, as someone who primarily enjoys vegan food now but has enjoyed salmon in the past, I was not disappointed with the flavour or texture of this dish. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Definitely need to book in advance as the place fills up fast.

Absolutely delicious food, I even second guessed the pasta sauce was really vegan, so creamy and cheesy-like it was. We had tiramisu for dessert, again scrumptious and heaven-like, with a perfect biscuit-cream ratio and generous chocolate topping. Cosy place and kind staff, we were only not able to try the cocktails due to lockdown measures. Highly recommend and will definitely come back!

Having had authentic Italian carbonara before going vegan I’ve always been picky when it comes to carbonara, but this was absolutely amazing, and will have me returning to Edinburgh over and over! I had the tomato soup to start, my lady had the vegan salmon on toasted bread, then I had a pizza for main (quatro stagioni?) which was a vegetarian "meat feast", was bloody lovely!! The lady had vegan pesto gnocchi, which she was was fantastic! Then we shared a peanut butter and jam vegan cheese cake! A lovely ambiance to the place, and our waitress was thoroughly tentative and lovely! Not a massive place and imagine it could get very busy, so booking is recommended. Will definitely come back on our next visit!

If you visit Edinburgh, you have to eat there! Make a reservation in advance tough as the place has very limited seating. If you get a table, come very hungry as you want to eat everything they serve you. It's very delicious!

✓ All Vegetarian with Vegan Options I was here for a late lunch on a Friday. I had the Vegan Penne Al Salmone [£13.90] – Penne cooked in a creamy sauce with garlic, cherry tomatoes, soy cream and vegan salmon topped with fresh parsley and vegan parmesan, because I was curious about the vegan Salmone. I really enjoyed it – the sauce was creamy, savoury and fragant (with the olive oil). It was balanced with some sweet and fresh tomatoes. I have no idea what the vegan salmon is made of but the flaky and delicate texture was very reminiscent of salmon, and added a nice texture to the dish. However, there was only a sprinkling of it. It was a huge plate and tasty dish with a decent topping of vegan parmesan, but for the price I thought it would’ve been nice if it had more of the vegan salmon. I was excited to try the Vegan Crème Brule [£5.50]… only to be disappointed by what I actually got. It was watery and gloopy. It was pretty much watery rice pudding with burnt sugar on top – not good at all. They have a huge menu of pizza and pastas, all vegetarian and with a similar number of vegan options. The service was a bit slow (considering I was there was only another table of 4 aside from me). The restaurant has an odd mix of décor that might throw you off when you enter. Still, it has a warm and cosy vibe. It is a narrow space so there isn’t many tables, so probably a good idea to make a reservation if you’re planning to come here for dinner. From what I had, they show promise – the pasta was delicious with some room for improvement. Good pasta and lovely notion of Vegetarian-Vegan Italian food, but definitely left have room for improvement. All in all, I would return should I find myself in Edinburgh again as I would like to try their other pastas and also pizzas.

I booked a meal for my honeymoon and could not have been happier with the whole experience. The food was exquisite and the service excellent. Right from first stepping in the door, we were made to feel special and welcome. I have to give a special mention to the Oreo Cheesecake. I am a huge Oreo fan and I have never had an Oreo based dessert like this. It was exceptional and delicious.

This place is AMAZING. Seriously can't recommend it enough. I stumbled upon this restaurant while I was walking around and found this place on google maps. Decided to go for it since we were already around the area and wouldn't want to walk all the way again. GLAD we did. There wasn't much written about it but I was still very excited. A vegetarian and vegan restaurant. Serving italian food oh my lord. I scanned through the menu. I knew that I should always have low expectations to avoid disappointments but boy, I was shivering with excitement from learning about all of the choices I had. My mom wasn't so fond of vegan food so she wasn't interested in ordering.. I ordered the Cesare Pizza and Lasagne. Both VEGAN. We had to wait a little but when the dishes came... oh my, they looked BEAUTIFUL. Even my mom was pleasantly surprised. The pizza was a generous portion size and huge for someone coming from SE Asia. I was expecting a small lasagna but nope, it was a good size as well! Pizza was 9£ and lasagna 8 if I'm not mistaken. They were honestly so SO GOOD!!! Even my mom ended up enjoying sharing the meal with me. This is coming from someone who is used to mocking me about how vegan food look and taste like lol. The pizza and lasagna taste real authentic and the pizza had a crisp rustic crust. They were both very filling. You could tell that they made their food with care and love. We decided to leave some leftovers for my sister who couldn't make it. So they gladly packed them into a box for us. They had specials during that day. Vegan cheesecakes for 4/5£ depending on the flavour. And also raw Tiramisu which also sounded delicious. And a chocolate calzone. Honestly i wish i could eat everything haha. Ordered the Coconut Cheesecake. The server told me that they had toppings and recommended that the caramel sauce would go well with it. It came on the side which was perfect as I was afraid it might have been too sweet (every dessert I had in Edinburgh has been extremely too sweet for my and family's liking). I sprinkled some of the caramel and took my first bite. *drumroll* It was -- HEAVEN. No words to describe how delicious it was! Angels were singing at the back of my head. It was not too sweet, creamy, the perfect amount of coconut.. Just a perfect creation. My mother tried it and she herself was shocked, again! Coming from someone who always complained about missing cheeses, and loves cheesecake. She LOVED this! We enjoyed sharing and slowly savoring each bite. This restaurant definitely deserves more people and recognition. Not because it is vegetarian and vegan friendly but because they truly serve good food even for the non-vegetarians. Prices were reasonable and much cheaper than eating at the centre. Food is delicious. Friendly staff. With all of the money spent on the previous restaurants, I would have LOVED to spend all of it here instead. In fact, we are so pleased that we will be coming back again the next day! Food you can seriously enjoy without any guilt. Comfortable environment. Smiling faces. Won't burn holes in your wallet. Nothing could make this experience any better! This place is cosy and warm. The staff os welcoming and friendly but don't expect a professional service or high attention to details. The pizza taste good but the dough is soft and you can't eat it without fork and knife. Also the pizza doesn't have any crust, so it could be positive or negative. For an exclusive Vegeterian menu Planty of choice. Overall is ok and if u want to have a different pizza or you are vegetarian this is the place for you, but if u are looking for a proper italian pizza like sicilian style roman or napolitan, go somewhere else.

Went by myself, on a Monday evening after just arriving in Edinburgh, best thing I could have done. Omnivore visiting with my vegan partner. The service was very friendly, felt like a homely italian restaurant. Menu was everything you'd expect of a classic Italian restaurant but fully vegan-ised. I forgot what it's like to go to a place with so many options all of which I could eat! I struggled slightly because I wanted everything but it just means there's more reason for me to visit in the future. We had a special for starters which was essentially a carpaccio with cheese and rocket which was amazing. We both had pizzas with really good toppings and the cheese wasn't the sticky kind you get elsewhere - absolutely amazing. And I had the most divine lemon cheesecake as well. I did eyeball the pasta being served at other tables and it genuinely looked amazing as well. The server was also lovely and asked us about the rest of our evening and even recommend some places we can go to. Had a wonderful time and will definitely return.

Absolutely fantastic food! I forgot to take a picture of our starters, the vegan bruschetta with 4 cheese sauce and the melanzane di parmigiana, because the food was so good! For my main I had the vegan parmigiana pizza, and honestly, I can't say anything else, except that it was excellent, by omnivore, vegetarian and vegan standards. Crazy good vegan pizza! I will definitely come back and will have to start making my way through the entire menu.

Here is what I had to eat Penne arrabiatta and vegan choclolate cake. Both were really amazing. 3 friends and I had visited Edinburgh over the weekend and after trying to contact three other restaurants they were extremely rude. The place is lovely and the stuff belongs to the friendliest I ever met. Their pizza is super crispy and very well done. The only thing that made me deleting one of the stars is the vegan cheeze they use. Everyone in Edinburgh recommends this place to me so kept this little gem for my last evening during my stay. But the cheeze was horrible and I tried a lot of different brands. It was more like kinda dry gravy with small crumbly pieces and felt very greasy in the mouth, not tasty. If you change the vegan cheeze for the next time I am there you'll get the five stars ❤️🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

After searching various restaurants for gluten free and vegan menus we found this online. Easy to book and just a short 10min walk away from princes st tram stop. Small restaurant with around for around 20 people staff were very helpful and talked us through the menuabout what was available for my wife to eat that was gluten free. We settled on our starter's and mains which were great. We had pizza and a calzone for our mains with the veg being fresh and tasty. We were honestly to full to eat dessert but ordered some blood orange sorbet to go and ate it on the way back to the hotel. Well worth another visit.

The food in this place is soooooooo good. I visited Scotland for 2 weeks and this was the best meal we had for sure! I've been vegan for over 4 years now and this was the best vegan Italian place I've ever been to. The oreo cheesecake was insane!! Service was good, ambiance lacking. Food wise, it was alright but I would say there was nothing particularly stellar about it. Garlic focaccia was the standout for us. Bar had apparently ran out of beers (at 19:30) and could only serve one or two specialty ales. For the price it's a bit absurd not to have Heineken or what have you stocked for an evenings service. Overall it must be said it was a very average experience.

great vegan pizza takeaway. they do have tables to sit on for meals. Only down side is when ordering a takeaway at till point you are standing over people who are seated trying to eat meal. but you are hanging over them. As you can see in photo.

I’m giving 5 stars even though the tiramisu was not good in my opinion, which was served with a shot of espresso that I didn’t have as it was 9pm. The food here is delicious, almost everything we've tried off the menu has been amazing. The waitresses are lovely and it's often busy, but they're still very attentive. I can't fault the food, speed of service or cleanliness. There are two factors dragging it down, in my opinion. Firstly, the prices are too high, for such a relaxed atmosphere and food that is more home cooked vibes than gourmet, I wouldn't expect to spend £60 on a meal for two. Secondly, the way the (people whom I presume are) owners talk to the staff is atrocious; our waitress was wonderful and the atmosphere was great, the owners came in looking like they'd been sucking lemons and had a problem with absolutely everything our waitress was doing and kept telling her off. They were also accompanied by a child, who for the entire duration of our meal was clearly bored beyond belief and sat in silence as the owners did social media. Give the kid some crayons or something, seriously. Honestly I can't imagine we'll go again, even though the food was amazing, as I can't bear to watch the waitresses be berated, it makes it impossible to enjoy your food.

Please disregard the only 2 star review regarding unjustified prices. Their portions are very generous so I’d suggest ordering as you go and sharing items between 2 people. Service is excellent and food takes no more than 15 mins to arrive, and we were there on a very busy evening. Now with regards to the food, 100% the best vegan/vegetarian restaurant I’ve ever been to. Most vegans over do it with healthy options and taste suffers. Not here it doesn’t! If I’m ever in Edinburgh again, I’m coming here every other day!

It's rare enough to find a dedicated vegetarian restaurant but one that does exclusively pizzas is a pleasant find. They cater for both vegetarians and vegans with a decent sized menu that includes pizzas and a selection of calzones, cannelloni and pasta dishes. The prices reflect the fact that this is a small business operating in Edinburgh's new town but remain affordable nonetheless. The service is quick and friendly and I will be coming back.
