The owner was very friendly and made us feel welcome. As you can see from the photos the portions are big but they were also very tasty and good value for money. I would highly recommend Mums Great Comfort food if you're looking for good food with no frills. Sara

First delivery from Pizza Connection. Never realised that we had this one right in the village. We used JustEat. Very very quick delivery (15 minutes from order 😍). Both pizzas were very tasty and generous. Very good price as well - less than £13 for two 12-inch pizzas. Very happily surprised. We’ll order again soon for sure. Thank you 🍕

I’m a visitor in UK and was looking for a good pizza place everyday (literally) for last couple of weeks all over London and Edinburgh. Found this place and this is THE best pizza I was craving for all my stay here. To tell how good the pizza was, here’s an image of a 12 inch pizza we (two people) picked up 30 secs ago (yes even when it was damn hot!!) 😍😍

Absolutely Brilliant! No hesitations about making this our main pizza place. Pizzas are well cooked, there's a great variety of options and the Meat Feast (with extra meatballs) is just perfect. It actually manages to taste just as delicious after a night in the fridge. Yess! Lovely staff and a nice place to visit. This has new management and superb standards.

Best place I’ve ever been for a pizza in my whole life. Order from here and it will not disappoint!

Happy to say it's a lot better now with new owners! Old review: More like "bread connection". Not even one salami slice for each piece. Hardly any cheese, uncooked thick dough. Rather have a frozen pizza from Tesco.

If you can't be bothered reading a full review: The new owner has really turned things around, the pizza is excellent and very cheap! Disregard reviews from before August 2019 as they are from an old owner. If you can be bothered reading a full review: It's a shame to see this get so little business: the staff are friendly and a pleasure to talk to, the pizza was very tasty, there was an abundance of quality toppings, the bread was fluffy and perfectly cooked, and everything in the shop was very clean and well kept. If I really scrutinise for little details, I can make small complaints about: slightly too much sauce (I have only had one pizza so far so this may have been a one-off), a couple of the pepperonis were a little burnt, and the pizza could've done with turning around half-way through cooking (although it still turned out delicious!). That's all I can think of when it comes to bad things! Overall, it's worth more than the £7 it cost me to get a 12" pepperoni pizza and you should absolutely give it a try if you haven't already. I will certainly be having more pizzas from here in the future!

NEW OWNERSHIP NOW! [Since August 2019] We used to order pizza from the previous owner and towards the end he really went downhill. If you ever saw the state the shop was in before, you'll know it's a shock that anyone cooked food there. It's so much cleaner now under the new owner and his pizzas are incredible. Very happy to have a much better Pizza Connection back up and running. We definitely needed one here in Colinton.

Brilliant pizzas and fantastic staff. I'm fortunate enough to live in Colinton Village and I get to use this place regularly. The pizzas are always really well made and even the chips are to die for. The staff are a real asset - friendly, good chat and thoroughly nice people. I would (and do) continue to get food from this establishment and I recommend you do too!

Just found out that Pizza Connection is opening this coming weekend 23.08.19 after being closed for a very long time, cannot wait. Met the new owner today, lots of catering experience, so should be a good addition to Colinton eateries!

Pizza connection is the best pizza place in the world! It is my favourite place to get pizza. It is incredibly tasty and such a reasonable price. Its half the price of other pizza places and tastes lovely so fresh!
