S. J.Reasonable review only way this place won 3 stars from me was the falafel wrap with peppers and haloumi was decent. The decaff latte was good. Like a quality coffee should taste. All in all quite good until I come to the cleanliness. I get it can be busy but in covid times.....if you are busy....hire more staff. Cleanliness is very important.

W. T.Good food, okay prices, fast service with a smile and a lovely atmosphere here at Pret A Manger! Definitely the place to go for a quick lunch or coffee in Edinburgh center. Not so Scottish, but damn good anyway. I would suggest a hot chocolat for this time of the year (November).
P. E.Fairly inexpensive and tasty food, in a warm and friendly cafe. Snag a table before you order as the cafe fills up quickly at lunch time- then pick your meal from the cabinet and go up and pay! During the lunch rush it seems there is a pretty high volume sold, so no need to worry about freshness.
Main, big, problem: packaging waste. Every item sold comes in an unrecyclable wrapper, and every hot drink sold, even those drunk in-store, comes in an unrecyclable cup. I want to go back to Pret, as I like their food and am happy they cater to many dietary groups, but this overpackaging is a major issue.
A. G.Plenty of seats, lots of space. Great choice of sandwich types, fruit, soup etc. Good service, pretty quick really. Clean toilets, clean premises.
Better than Costa, Nero's, Starbucks...possibly!
