G. L.I judge a Chinese restaurant by its hot & sour soup, first (!) and this one was perfect. All the food was solid - traditional dishes you expect from a westernized Chinese restaurant - customer service was excellent, and the place is clean and well set up.

As for Main dishes,I will recommend Kung Po chicken if you like bland food.

T. T.Having missed my favourite Chinese restaurant near the shore, which shut some years ago, I was surprised on visiting Edinburgh, to find this one does my rare to find favourite dishes: ‘Crispy greens’ but whole leaf greens, not tiny shreds and paper wrapped prawns. Both delicious.
R. B.Rendezvous serve the best Chinese curry in the city. It is full-bodied, flavourful, aromatic and the meat (I've tried special curry and beef curry) is high quality and tender. The onions are just right and have that wok hey.

J. C.Excellent takeaway and the only place where you can buy takeaway cheaper than if you sit in. We had chicken sweet a d sour, and chiken mushroom both with egg fried rice all for £14. Will return.
T. M.We got a takeaway from here. It was ok but nothing spectacular and some of it was a little greasy. For the price compared to some other locations it cannot be faulted as it is very reasonable but the quality is just ok. I wouldn't rush here but if I wanted a Chinese meal and nothing else was available it's OK.
