Visited here a few days ago for my 24th birthday meal. Our waitress was extremely friendly and helped us with some cocktail recommendations which we promptly ordered. We got the pot stickers and prawns for starters and I got the chicken fajitas for dinner which were AMAZING - highly recommend! After dinner the staff very kindly all came over and handed me a lovely portion of cake Witt candles and they all sung me ‘Happy Birthday’ which made me feel very special! Had a lovely evening overall.

Delicious food from this place specifically, though the chain tends to do decent fare throughout the UK. Friendly waitstaff, and prompt food delivery. Standard TGI's decor and menu. As always, a little expensive but that's what you expect with rib joints.

We had the mock chicken fingers and vegan fajitas. The chicken fingers were more like nuggets but the taste was great. The fajitas were a bit tasteless and the sides were teeny tiny, def not enough for 4 tortillas. We ordered a non alcoholic cocktail and it was delicious. The staff was absolutely wonderful.

I enjoyed my dining experience here. The Negroni cocktail was really good. The place is cool and i loved the vibe inside. The food was good, but i found the sesame chicken a bit too sweet. The portion was massive though, so come here with an appetite! ;) they take American Express which is always a bonus. However when I made the reservation online I chose to dine at the bar, and instead i was seated at a table - I didn’t see anyone sitting at the bar so I’m not sure if it’s something to do with corona or whatever silly reason, so if it’s not available i don’t see why they let me book it on the website. Oh well.

Food was really nice. Despite not having my favourite dish on the menu the amazing service deserves 5 stars. We were probably not the easiest customers with 2 toddlers that spilt their drinks on more than one occasion but still received a great service. One of our group has an allergy so the manager took our order personally and remembered the whole order for 7 of us perfectly without writing a thing! Would definitely return if in the area again. Oh and the garlic fries were delicious!

Really enjoyed our meal here this evening. The staff were all super friendly and accommodating to my dietary requirements. The food was delicious. We had chicken and flat bread for starters, salad, steak & ribs and a chocolate cake for dessert. I was a little disappointed that the birthday dessert wirh candle that was promised when I signed in for our 8.30pm reservation was never brought to the table even though I added notes to online reservation and told the person showing us table. So I guess if this is something you really want you will need to be sure to tell your personal waiter. They tables were cleaned down properly after use. The lady's lavatory was clean & there were a few + cubicles. To get to them you have to go up the spiral staircase (there is a wheelchair access loo downstairs though) The interior was fabulous, lots of famous photos etc (see photos for a few) For me the downside was the music was a little loud for my taste. I am slowly loosing my hearing so hard floors with loud ambiance doesn't help with communication etc. The place is in a lovely area, you can see Edinburgh castle on your left as you enter.

Was here on Friday night and it was a great experience as soon as we stepped in the door. The host was very warm and welcoming. Our server Catherine couldn't have been nicer! Very helpful and kind. Great sense of humour too which goes a long way! Food was also fantastic as usual but the staff just made the night!

Very nice interior as per other TGI's. We were seen and greeted quickly at the door and given a table shortly after. Once we were seated we were given menus and informed staff about a member of our table having allergies. We were advised they would have to get their manager to serve us and would be back shortly with our drinks. However, some time later we still had not been brought our drinks and no sign of a manager coming over. A few tables came in after us and were even being served their food before we had our drinks. Eventually we spot our server just hanging around talking with other servers at their till point to which our patience started to wilt. Maybe 20-25 minutes after ordering 4 soft drinks, in a half empty restaurant, they eventually arrived to us served by the manager. No apology for the wait, to which I assume that they had only just been notified of our need for them to be the one to serve us. Finally our order was in and thankfully the food was served up promptly and was great. Manager was great at offering us an allergy menu and was quick with everything after they had attended to us. Would visit again, but will not have the patience of last time if 4 drinks could be served faster by post on a Sunday.

I've been to a few TGIs, currently visiting Edinburgh for a getaway. Opted to eat here because we recognise the brand. 1/ we tried the wings for the first time. Insane. Very tasty. 2/ the service, I forgot to get his name, in small talk, I think he said he was from the west coast(?), anyway - he is arguable the most polite server I've ever had in any dining experience. Attentive, well mannered and on point. This guy is a credit to your venue.

Went in just for drinks with a few friends whilst visiting the city. The barman was great, very accommodating and knowledgeable with cocktail making. Never leaving our glasses empty unless we wanted it. Had a great night and reasonably priced for what we drank!

Amazing amazing !! The staff were amazing, and really nice, had a nice conversation with them too. At first we were placed in the corner away from the atmosphere and once we asked if we could move they were really polite and allowed us to sit dead center in the middle which was really lovely, it was my boyfriend's first time here and it was a perfect experience. The food was amazing and very filling, the music was aweosme to sit and enjoy a meal too, the drinks were nice also. But I have to go back to how lovely the staff were, had a talk to our waitor about him recently moving to Edinburgh from London for uni and it was really wholesome and nice 💞💞💞💞💞

Went in for dinner at the weekend and couldn’t be more happy with the drinks, food and staff. Considering it was a busy Saturday night everything arrived promptly and tasted delicious. One of the best places I've been for dining, I absolutely love the TGI Friday's Glaze and I'm yet to have a bad meal from this chain, if you haven't already I would recommend giving the place a try, They offer a large amount on their menus including that of a vegetarian and vegan selection, if you love sweet foods and sauces then you're in for a treat!

I went for my birthday dinner and had the best time! We originally booked a table for 7pm and ended up being around about an hour earlier so we thought we would have to wait awhile. Once we were in, we told them about that and the waitress at the door said it wasn't a problem and they'd get a table for us soon. We waited 5 minutes and a table was ready for us. Our waitress for the night was fantastic. She was so lovely. Our food arrived really quickly and tasted amazing. I mentioned to the waitress it was my birthday and awhile later she came to my table with cake and sang Happy birthday (to my embarrassment but hey, free cake!) I love a TGIs, however I must admit, it's not how it used to be. I had to scan a QR for the menu, which was much shorter than before. Food choice down, drink choice way way down. No Ultimates either, that sucked. Cocktails were not as good as they used to be. Burger was decent, but looking back, I think it was only so good because I hadn't eaten all day. The desert was very sweet, that's down on me but, it did taste good, just wasn't a great choice for me. I would come back, however maybe I'll leave some time between my next visit.

Great food with a wonderful menu. Chicken strips were just great, and the potato skins tasted perfect. It is worth a visit, just for the Jack Daniels dipping sauce. Amazing staff that will do anything for you. Very friendly, helpful and professional. Shame they have to deal with some total idiots, who have a way too high opinion of themselves, and think its ok to be abusive and rude. Definitely worth a visit.

Came here for Lunch while in Edinburgh, while on a day walking round the city. The service and food was excellent. The employees were very polite and were very quick to make sure that we were happy. we got the sesame fried chicken and Fridays special burger, these were both perfect. However, I did notice that when we walked up to and left our table the floor was very sticky. not sure whether it was from cleaning chemicals or spilled drinks.

Went here on a Tuesday night and it was pretty busy but our server Beth handled it extremely well, and kept making sure that we had everything we needed. Very good covid 19 safety precautions. We ordered mozzarella dippers to start and then my boyfriend ordered a steak, and I had ribs... both cooked really well. They did accidentally cook the wrong steak for my boyfriend, but it was quickly remedied and gave us the one he ordered for free.

Came here today whilst visiting Edinburgh for my 18th. The inside had a great vibe and was quite a cool place. The food was great - had the Fajitas and they were sooo delicious! Booked a table for four (only 3 people eventually made it) and arrived early. I was not greeted at the door I wandered into the bar area and questioned by staff as to what my requirements were. After explaining that I had made a reservation, I was sat at a dirty booth. Staff were attentive and friendly despite my friend having to return her drink and her partner complaining of his food being cold. I have visited this restaurant before and had a similar experience, that cause of which seems to be a lack of staff covering areas (for table service and in the kitchen) and the skeleton staff worked to capacity. I would expect better from an international chain.

This is the second time we have been here and the second time we have left very happy and full. The food mainly consists of American type cuisine ( So that's burgers, fries, bbq ribs and steaks) and is reasonably priced. They also sell a range of drinks were you can have both alcoholic or soft variants. The waiting staff are excellent and are very hospitable. We had a guy with a cool hair style and beard who engaged in conversation and made our stay very pleasant.

It was a busy night when we visited, but we weren't complaining. After all, we were in good company and were well looked after! The atmosphere is great, it's nicely decorated with an American theme and I definitely couldn't fault the portion sizes or the taste of the food! We were given a menu where we were given exclusive previews to the new burger offerings on their menu and I decided to go for the one that wouldn't fill me up too quickly and I was most definitely happy with my choice: the French Dip burger with caramelized onions, melted Swiss cheese and garlic mayo served with a rich beef sauce to pour over or dip your burger in. Just wow.

They also charge for very small portions of sauce for dipping the small portions of fries in. Not the kind of service from the US version either. Not awful, not great. A nice atmosphere and a great place for a quick bite to eat before heading off to meet friends. There's a massive cocktail range. I like the look of the American styled walls and the portions are pretty good for your money. They do some lovely burgers and the kids selection is good for even those that are a bit picky with their food. Their desserts are fun and yummy. I'd pretty much picked what I wanted before I got there as their menus are on their website.

The food came quickly once ordered with the waitress and everything was piping hot. The mozzarella sticks are always a highlight for me and the pesto mayo they now serve with them is divine. We both had the Louisiana hot stack which was dripping in hot sauce (yumyum). The cocktails were also delicious. I do always think thay TGIs are quite expensive for what you get foodwise though so can only rate 4* max.

Booked as a table of 12 I thought maybe there would be a delay between courses or getting to different stages in our meal but none at all! All the food brought out looked and tasted amazing between all three courses we had! I cannot express how satisfied we as a group were with the service experienced on our visit, between us all we have been to quite a few TGIs and as much as they have all been fantastic, the Edinburgh team need to teach the rest of them how its done! You know what you are getting with a TGI's, there is generally something to suit everyone and the overall quality is ok. Some dishes are in my opinion a little overpriced. I had a burger at about £10 which is about right, but my partner had fajitas and at about £16 was a little pricey but they were tasty. Far from the best meal and far from the worst, but the service was friendly and a good atmosphere.
