M. R.Absolutely amazing service. There was a wait at the door and I can see why. Only took 15 mins before being seated. The hostess came out several times to check on us before attending to a table. The food came out almost immediately and tasted AMAZING. Definitely well worth the experience and bad service we had from other Chinese restaurants in the area. Could not fault a thing. Staff were tentative especially as my Mother is disabled.

J. P.It was OK. We both had different meals but both were swimming in what looked like gravy. Served on a dinner plate which was very different to the two Chinese families in the restaurant. They were given small bowls and their food smelled delicious and no weird gravy sauce. When we eat Chinese we like the whole experience including chop sticks. They seemed surprised when we said we wanted to eat with ours the waitress was ready to remove them. The staff were lovely, very friendly.

D. M.I went here with 9 work colleagues for a midweek set menu banquet after work. The food and service was excellent, so much so it was all we could talk about the following morning! The shredded chilli beef is star of the show but the chicken, prawn and vegetable dishes were also really tasty and the shredded duck starter was delicious. The portion sizes were huge, and we all left stuffed! We had a vegetarian in the group who was well catered for and was really pleased with the tofu main dish she had.
I would thoroughly recommend the Golden Dragon for dinner; go with a group so you can have the set menu!

D. S.I would say it's the best Chinese Restaurant in Edinburgh. Must try the signature fried rice. Lobster or king prawn noodle is another excellent choice, you have to pre-order when you make a booking. There is not too much selection of dim sum but quality is very good. Highly recommend, must make booking since it's always full. Location is best as it's just a minute's walk from Princes Street.
S. D.Lovely restaurant, friendly staff who couldn’t do anymore to help! Portions were decent sizes with reasonable prices considering the capital! Have visited this restaurant every year for the past 5 years while visiting the city and it has always been of high quality ! Unfortunately this year the experience was spoilt by some very rude customers who thought it was acceptable to belittle the staff even after they received several apologies from staff for a simple mistake made over a glass of water!

a. b.Very welcoming experience from great staff,large selection on menu and with careful choice we had one of the best Cantonese meals for a very long time,the soup was hot and delicious and the chicken satay was very good with plain rice.It is a long established business just off Rose Street in centre of town and would not be in business if it was not good.Decor is a little dated and the toilets have been refurbished recently and were spotless, I would highly recommend it.

Nous étions 4 adultes, nous sommes venus sans réserver et nous avons été très bien accueillis.
Le lieu est chaleureux et propre. Le service était impeccable.
Nous avons pris 4 entrées différentes et 4 plats différents, tout était très bon et suffisant.
Nous n'avons pris 3 portions de riz pour 4 et nous n'avons pas réussi à finir.
Le triple beignets à l'ananas était excellent et largement suffisant pour 2 personnes.
Nous recommandons ce restaurant à ceux qui aiment manger chinois traditionnellement.

Sehr lecker war es hier - aber für eine Portion Reis pro Person 3 Pfund zu nehmen finde ich bei den Preisen etwas unverschämt, konnte man der Karte auch nicht entnehmen - bestellt ich bei uns etwas beim Chinesen ist Reis automatisch dabei, also Vorsicht bei der Bestellung.
