Great place for a burger, all cooked fresh. I tried the haloumi burger and fries-well tasty. Fairly new place, I'm sure the atmosphere will improve as it gets busier

The burgers are sizeable and you could get away with just having one on its own as a meal. Chips are the best I’ve had in a while, crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy inside. My partner said he liked them which is high praise coming from him. Really enjoyed the food, it’s well packaged for takeout and contains little to no plastic. Even the cutlery is wooden. It is a very small place and the only seating is in the window on tall stools.

Good points first..... Delivered in 20 minutes from point of order - ordered via just eat and delivery driver was very pleasant. Food arrived warm and very fresh - well packaged and decent portion sizes. The food ordered, Ranch burger and chips was 8/10, bacon jam was the only thing that let it down, not sure how to describe it, but it was neither jam or bacon! Bad points..... Asked for a VAT receipt, this wasn't provided. Upon calling The Ranch, the girl on the phone informed me they don't do VAT receipts. First of all, this is important to me as I am traveling on business and need a VAT receipt to claim this back as an expense. 99% of businesses provide these as standard these days, so to not provide one does send alarm bells ringing, and for this inconvenience I will not be ordering from them again. I can only imagine I am not the first to experience this. Note to The Ranch - Food, delivery and customer service was almost perfect, so well done guys/girls! Please sort the VAT situation out, or at least inform customers who request a VAT receipt before taking the order, as this causes a huge headache for people ordering food when away on business. Ordered many times from here via uber eats. Great burgers with lots of variety. I even got a very cute message on my chicken burger's box hand written on via one of the staff! They offer a wide range of fries from normal to sweet potato to Cajun seasoned. All are tasty and I must say pair excellently with each burger. I really recommend the chicken burgers too!

We've been a few times and the burgers are ok. I find them a bit on the dry side but still a better alternative than McDonald's . The chips are decent though. Last one my daughter got was raw inside. When i phoned to complain they were very apologetic and offered to refund the price. Can't ask for more really but on checking the bank, they didn't refund the full amount of the burger in question. We'll give it a miss for a while just now but i'm all about second chances so will go back eventually.

Recommend the burgers, chips & onion rings! Everything comes delivered in sturdy cardboard burger boxes so no soggy or squished burgers delivered! Absolutely delicious food. Our order came quite late and they threw in some complimentary churros with caramel sauce with a handwritten note apologising for the delay. Really nice touch!

Tried for first time tonight. Absolutely delicious. Card machine was not working so we picked up instead of delivery (as needed to get cash out). Food was ready when they said it would be, lovely and hot even after journey home and delicious. Also love that they use all recyclable packaging for the food. We'll be going back! We had a Wyatt burger each, 1 cajun fries and 1 regular fries and a pot of slaw. Only complaint is the Wyatt is advertised as coming with onion rings and both burgers only had 1 onion ring each.

Hit or miss! not enough salad/sauce with burgers ever,the beef is nice they use and the chips are nice crispy. Chicken wings not nice soggy and flavourless.did not eat them,was hoping for crispy chicken. Overall experience OK

This review is for the new branch on Barclay Place. Burgers are very tasty, not too heavily seasoned, and they’re cooked to perfection. Welcome addition to Bruntsfield eateries.

I had the pit master the first time I visited, which was delicious (the brisket fell apart and the ribs seasoning was really tasty). On my second visit I had the Bubba Burger, which was a bit disappointing unfortunately, as it was advertised as a messy burger (and it wasn't), as there was hardly any pulled beef on top of the burger. I will be back though and I feel The Ranch is a really great addition to St John's Rd.

If you are on a diet i would fast for a couple of days as the burgers etc are huge and very filling and also tastier than the other 2 Burger brands, and the BBQ ribs Mmm the meat just fell of the bone.🍔🥩 and first class servise.
