Unforgettable experience with Michelin quality dish after dish upping the anti in quality with every course. Imaginative wine pairing which elevated the experience would recommend spending a little more for the premium option which offered aged Chenin blanc and a surprising Bulgarian Bordeaux blend. We came to Scotland for vacation and this was our first dinner reservation. It was one of the most amazing dining experiences my husband and I have ever been to - so fun and intimate. The chefs are kind and so welcoming - a great start to the trip and the food was as lovely as the company! will go back when we venture back!

This was such a unique tasting menu experience, one of the best my husband and I have experienced, and we have had quite a few around the world! We opted for the wine pairing, which was well worth it. The chef is an owner and you can see everything being cooked right in front of you. He then explains each course before you start. The waitress was extremely knowledgeable on the wine, each wine paired perfectly with each course. It is expensive, but worth every penny if you appreciate good food and wine. Lovely atmosphere, a perfect evening.

Don't often do fine dining, but this was amazing! The experience of a single table in the kitchen with the chef preparing then explaining the food in front of you really increases the enjoyment eating it. 7 courses of Italian influenced dishes made with seasonally locally sourced produce. My new favorite restaurant; I'll definitely go back!

Fantastic tasting menu with accompanying wines with each course. Food is surprising & beautiful without being gimmicky or fussy. All served at a counter to a single sitting of up to 10 guests. Open kitchen with the sous chef playing a fun selection of music. The place is tiny for a restaurant but comfortable & unstuffy. If you have special dietary needs or preferences you *really* need to ask in advance - not the kind of kitchen where there is any room to improvise something off menu!

Delicious food, and a cool experience; really varied and delicious. Cool to be sitting in the open kitchen and watching the chef's work. However I think it falls into the little trap of fancy food-tiny portions and even over the many courses I was left feeling unsatisfied at the end.

The Table is one of the best restaurants in Edinburgh. The food is simply spectacular. No menu, the chef prepares everything right in front of you. Each dish is a taste explosion, they look and taste great. Really complicated dishes executed perfectly. Excellent wine list. You have to book a month in advance and we were lucky to get a table. You have to do this. I'm going back next time I'm in Edinburgh

This is absolutely amazing - you need to go if you're in Edinburgh. The atmosphere is lovely and we got to meet new people - the food is excellent and an adventure plus the concept is wonderful- you can see how it's all made in front of you. We had matching wines which I would recommend :)

Went with my wife in late June. The Table is one of those places you really need to try and go to if you are in Edinburgh. Keep in mind, there aren't many places available- 10 seats only- and you have to sign up at the beginning of the month; though I was told that single seats are sometimes available. But the food and the ambience are worth the effort. Sean, Keith and Dylan- the chefs and hosts of the place- are incredibly personable, full of stories and fantastically talented. Goes on our very small lists of favorite restaurants in the world.

When we booked this in January 2016 the first available date was July!.....however it was definitely worth the wait. Amazing food prepared right in front of you by the two chefs who own and run this restaurant. This has to be one of the best places to eat in Edinburgh and worth every penny. You are treated really well from the minute you walk through the door. Loved the decor of the whole place. Really plush. Food was great too. The Xmas decorations were fantastic. Worth a visit but you need to book well in advance especially at Xmas

This is possibly the best dining experience in Scotland. The food is comparable with any michelin star restaurant in the country. The interaction with the kitchen gives you a real appreciation for the effort and skill involved.

I've been to the table on two occasions and both times the food and overall experience were outstanding. A restaurant experience that's a bit out of the ordinary. There is one table that sits 10. The are two chefs who thoroughly explain the sourcing and preparation of the food. It's foodie heaven!

Great experience and amazing and beautifully presented food. Set menu only, so you need to be happy to eat anything. And it's BYOB, but you can check ahead for recommendations of what to bring. You need to book around 3 months in advance to get in, but it's so worth the wait.

Fantastic tasting menu (don't let this put you off - it's not like some others with no more than a morsel on each plate) and no corkage-charge BYO. It's a single counter, 10-seater, facing the kitchen resto which makes for a great atmosphere. Chef Sean is a great host who will talk you through the no-choice menu and you'll leave after up to 4 hours feeling like you've had your best night out of the year. NB it's booked at weekends for many weeks ahead so plan well in advance, or go mid-week.
