Pizza was outstanding. They were generous with the toppings and it’s made fresh. Only drawback is the waiting times are a tad long (maybe 15 20 minutes when moderately busy), but it’s so goo because of this. Lasagna went down well and the ribs were good. Very tasty. Then dessert was to die for, the sticky toffee was outstanding, moist and just melted. The brownies were class, turmosoil (the coffee cake one) was amazing and ice cream really good. Overall 9/10

What a pleasant surprise! I rushed into Wildwood in a hurry, I was in a film festival at the cinema across the road, had very little time between shows and was starving. Sounds bad, right? I ended up in Wildwood because it was not as busy as its neighbours. Not a good start. At least, not by the wisdom of the crowd. But this is Lothian Road, and the crowd isn't always the sharpest around here. Wildwood was very quick and understanding of my situation. They were calm and my food arrived as quickly I could have expected. And it was tasty! Spaghetti with vegan meatballs. Not those cheap wads of gunk but textured, coloured balls that held the flavour of the sauce. A lovely spicy sauce. All for a reasonable price too. Sadly, due to the time pressure, I didn't get to David sample pudding.

Went a few weeks ago on a weeknight after the cinema. Philly steak sandwich was nice but the chips... The chips are one of the best I've had. Cooked the way I like it. Most restaurants seem to go for a soft approach. These chips were properly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The manager and waiter were lovely people to speak to.

Delicious food and speedy service! The pizzas were a lot bigger than what we expected! And the prawn starter I got was so so tasty, the sauce was amazing! Both me and my partner throughly enjoyed both starters and pizzas!

Good range of comfort food, check. Calm atmosphere, check. Allergy check, check. 5 stars, check. It was a brilliant dinner and ribs were amazing. They have a large range on offer from pizza to pasta and yes burgers as well as ribs. They looked really good and tasty. I always commend good allergy checks and the manager came over to ensure everything we ordered was safe. The service and the staff were efficient. The background music wasn't too loud and thanks to social distancing, the restaurant was calm. The Covid measures were good and we felt safe while eating. Overall, great restaurant with delicious food. We will definitely revisit.

A good place for a dining out. The atmosphere is great and the service is good. Staff were welcoming and good sense of humour. The food is delicious and good choice of spices. I have ordered greta tiger prawns as a starter which was quite good I will give at 6/10. As a main i ordered peri-peri penne and sirloin steak which comes with chips, both was very delicious especially the penne. Prices is quite good.

Centrally located, serving a good range of Italian food that are both of good quality and price. My friend ordered the stake pizza, and the steak was very juicy and tender; I had the seafood risotto and it was equally tasty. Would recommend the place.

Have been three times (all for lunch) and had a lovely food. The serving staff always seem a bit disappointed we only have one course and water, but that's all I ever want for lunch. It's a very big restaurant for Lothian road. Great choices on the menu, all cooked fresh. Reasonably priced. Recommend for a nice lunch when you feel like a treat.

Genuinely the best vegan burger I have ever had in my entire life. It was better then life itself. It tasted like someone put heaven in burger form. On a scale of 1 to 10 it is one million. Truly an indescribable experience. I felt like I was teleported to another dimension. Garlic sauce was equally emasculate. Would include a picture...but I already ate it.

I visited Wildwood restaurant in Edinburgh, Scotland, for the first time. As a student, i was of course drawn by the 50% discount available for students 😉. Decided to check it out, and I was knocked off my feet! Very friendly staff, clean with good sanitising and safety measures for current covid situation. Menu was good, wide variety of foods-pizza, pasta, grill, desserts. The meal i ordered was a pasta dish, came freshly prepared, tasted great and portion was more than generous, could have been eaten by 2 people or had it for 2 meals! Needless to say i got the 50% discount and ordered dessert as well, had a whole meal plus dessert for under £10. I would really recommend Wildwood restaurant and will definitely be going back! Keep up the excellent service and generosity.👏👏

The food was really nice and the vegan Pizza was filling. We had a 50% discount for students however once we mentioned it the service seemed less welcoming and confruntational rather than sympathetic about the limitations of the discount. Being nearly the only people in the restaurant we seemed unwelcome and in the way. However for a decent meal and quick service it's a decent place to eat

Decent place to eat that’s good for groups that need to satisfy a lot of different tastes/diets. The charcuterie board was good but even as an app definitely only enough for two people (potentially more if everyone was really restrained). Our group had a pizza, a cobb salad and a beet salad. Everything was good, with the beet salad being the most impressive. The pizza was good as far as gluten free pizzas go and really the only reason I’d return. Service was fine but not amazing.

We came here as it was the only place that seemed to have a place available - we visited during the Fringe/Tattoo. This place is quite expensive which was not surprising considering. Amazing place. We went there a little bit randomly, but we found here fine employment. Some of them were from Czech Republic or Slovakia too. They satisfy us with great service and for other day in Edinburgh we return here to enjoy our day. Food was fully of taste and the desert was a dream. Price is ok for Scotland. Was very happy to see a vegan menu on the window of this place when we walked past the other day so thought we would frop in after our meal at wagamamas as we were still quite hungry.
