Dog friendly. The old Baird’s Bar reopens as 226 Gallowgate after a full interior refit. Cool bar, handy for the Barrowlands next door. San Miguel, Carlsberg, Guinness, Brooklyn Lager & IPA on draught.

Been before gigs at the barras & on the passing! Always good service & reasonably priced for Glasgow! Outside seating aswell for the warmer days & cosey inside for the colder ones!

I love this bar. As a woman going to this bar on my own, I feel 100% safe. The bar staff are absolutely fabulous, can do no more for you. Feel very welcome at all times and the beer selection is fab. Keep going guys!!

Came across this unique place while waiting for a show at the Barrowlands. Found the staff to be very helpful & friendly. The food was delicious, (had to have the haggis pie to celebrate our great Bard). I would recommend a visit here anytime you're in the area.

This place is a must in the East End Quarter. Even for the decor alone. The staff are friendly and on point. The food and drinks menu are fresh and interesting and there is bound to be something you have not tried before. If you are heading into or leaving city centre for the East end this is a great stop off to get the night started or for the final just one more 😏. Such a great chilled trendy vibe which allows kids and dogs. Could not recommend more. Even the trip to the toilets is interesting. 👍🏽

Popped in for lunch after a nostalgic trip to the Barras. Loved the food and drinks and most of all the excellent service, particularly from the lovely Joanne. One of us likes our meat a little less rare. No problem. Joanne immediately sorted that with a replacement burger and what's more gave all three of us a complimentary glass of wine. What's not to like! Honestly, get to 226 and check it out. You won't be disappointed.

We were in Scotland for two weeks and our dinner here was by far the best experience we had. Beautiful food, staff, decoration, drinks... I would recommend it with no doubt and wish I could repeat soon!

Decent pub, prices a bit on the upper end, service a bit on the lower end. Guy serving was a bit short on words particularly the pleasantries. Could be a cracking pub with some effort.

Went in to this bar as the rain suddenly started to pour down and happened to be outside it at the time. Very happy we went in and ended up spending the rest of the night in it. Very cosy and interesting bar with a good selection of drinks.

This place is jolly well spiffing. Great japes were had by all.
