Visited this restaurant / venue for dinner yesterday. The atmosphere and service was stunning. All members of staff were dressed immaculately, and food arrived to the table very promptly. Would love to visit again to hire out one of the rooms downstairs or just to have dinner again. Food and beverages were full of flavour and very well presented.. Would highly recommend

I got married at Arta and it was the best decision ever! The venue itself is stunning. Very rustic and warm Spanish setting and gives a feeling of being on holiday. The staff were all amazing. They bent over backwards to accommodate everything. Rachel Grant, Sonny, Shona and all the staff did such an incredible job. We went for the Tapas menu and the quality was outstanding. All my guests were blown away by how amazing the food and venue was. We also used DJ Steve, through Arta. He's a brilliant DJ. I gave him a list of music which he played and he very kindly hosted a quiz for me. He knew exactly what music worked for the guests and kept everyone on the dance floor. Highly recommend the petal drop. Overall both my wife and I, as well as all my guests had an incredible experience and couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding. This place provided the best experience by far. We had a fantastic dinner and drinks with my friends and were greeted by the general manager who accommodated a table upstairs after another restaurant has ruined our afternoon and refused our booking. We were looked after by a fantastic team who went over and beyond throughout the night. We were later given a table at the bar area which not only had a fantastic atmosphere and music but also a great drinks selection at reasonable prices. We will most definitely be coming back again! First off, the food was incredibly fabulous and very well worth stopping in. They also were able to seat us quickly even though we didn't have a reservation. However, the waiter forgot we were there after serving our main course, and even though we had ordered dessert didn't come back to our table even when we tried to get their attention multiple times across 30 minutes. When someone finally came over, they were great and helpful, but it wasn't the waiter who initially served us. So while the food was great, the ambiance perfect, the service was sub par at best.

I truly cannot recommend Arta enough and the team whom helped organise and work our wonderful wedding. Both George and Sonny, their waiting staff, chefs and bartenders were professional, friendly and helpful, nothing was too much for them. Everyone involved helped make our day truly memorable. The food was far superior to any wedding meal I have eaten before, their sangria delicious, and the venues atmosphere relaxed, yet grand and unusual. Started upstairs which had a good atmosphere but getting served at the bar was a nightmare with how long it took. Moved downstairs to the club which was quicker. On night we visited there was a band downstairs before the DJ and they were great. Overall really enjoyed other than time taken to get served

A very, very busy place in December at the weekend. A well decorated venue, all set up like a Mediterranean courtyard and taverna. Service was fast and efficient and drinks were good. Toilets were clean. We were unable to eat this time, but I would return to give it a try - the restaurant is upstairs.

This place has it's own pulse. A no rush dining experience that has to be experienced. The waitress Nancy needs to run the place with her attitude and attentiveness Food wise its tapas and all is good, especially the almond pork! If you can go with Nancys recommendations 2 for lunch with a bottle of wine for 6 tapas breads and olives comes out to 35 quid. Well worth it

What an awesome place...its full of character decorated to perfection. The food is absolutely superb and the staff are some of the nicest people you'll meet. Nancy looked after us and I can honestly say we received some of the best service from her ever experienced. The next day we returned to photograph a wedding and once again the staff went above and beyond to help not only the bride and groom but every guest and even ourselves. If you're in Glasgow you must visit this gem of a place

I booked a last minute afternoon tea through 5pm for mothers day, the online booking process was very handy. The food and service was fantastic, can't fault it. Had my 30th in Arta at the weekend and couldn’t recommend the place and staff highly enough. The events staff when booking were friendly, responsive on email and very progressional. On the night the manager helped out with a small sound issue and his colleagues behind the bar were brilliant. Loads of attendees said the venue was perfect and I thought the same. Looks really modern and plenty of space and rooms to choose from. Thanks all and I will be back.

Had a private dining event here last month in the Commodore room, it was lovely and overall staff were helpful especially the event team in answering questions beforehand. The food (chosen from a set menu 2 weeks prior), was not the best, very bland. The kids meal was very disappointing, the garlic bread and mozzarella was basically just cut up bread with garlic sprinkled over, no cheese also I had to ask where it was. The pizza was like a frozen supermarket one and burnt again being the last to be served. The desserts overall were nice. The glass of cava on arrival was also forgotten about until I mentioned it mid meal which was them promptly brought out over dessert. A seating section was made available for a short time downstairs after the finish time which was good.

My son and daughter in law had their wedding reception on the 14th of October. From the minute we arrived the staff looked after us. All the feedback from family and friends has been positive. Everyone had a fantastic time. Arta is a beautiful venue and I highly recommend it.

Depending what you want for an evening will depend on whether you rate here. The venue is beautiful, the staff are attentive but my gosh it's busy and loud! I found the food mediocre and no way near worth what they charge.

"This is Sparta!" Yes, if you're into excessive indulgence in pleasure or luxury then this Roman themed club/bar/eatery is it. The place is like a labyrinth, each room themed slightly differently to suit your mood. The furnishings, materials and colours used transport you to a different time and place, where you can indulge your imagination about being a hedonistic Roman citizen. Only fly in the ointment the wash basins in the ladies toilets are too high to wash your hands comfortably.

Beautiful and stunning. We were at wedding which was lovely. After ceremony we sat upstairs for food. Upstairs was absolutely boiling, food wasn't great but that could just have been us as tastes are obviously different. Prices are ridiculous for alcohol. Staff are lovely and very helpful.

Wonderful venue. Good food and beverage. Nice service. Décor takes you to the Mediterranean. One of the best places to see and be seen in Glasgow. Drinks can be a bit expensive, but your worth it. Music can on some nights be a bit load. Better to check the website before going so you know what to expect and if there are any special nights of functions on.

It's a nice place, nice ambience, was there for a hen party. Done the cocktail masterclass and 3 course meal. Masterclass was fun though I would have thought the bride would have had a choice of what cocktails she could make. Dinner was nice, was supposed to have bloomer bread for my soup but it was just pitite pain at the table when we arrived. Rubber heels are advised as the floor is marble.

Love this venue. The hotel is modelled on the original Spanish hancienda with live petal drops at midnight from the balcony overlooking the main dance floor. The decor is beautiful with what looks like garden statues and ornate Marble flooring throughout the main bar area. There are also several large events spaces in the basement which can be hired for corporate and private bookings. The drinks are a bit pricey but you get what you pay for! Overall it's a great night out and very popular with hen parties and the 35+ crowd.

A last minute booking with guestlist found a group of about 20 of us here last night. The cocktails were good, the atmosphere was chilled upstairs and the band was great downstairs. There's a decent cocktail list and the prices are reasonable (at least in comparison to what I'm used to). I didn't try any of the food, though, so can't report on that.

Popped into Arta a few weeks ago for some tapas, they even let us go down to the cabaret night they were holding in the basement level. The tapas menu has changed since I last visited but it was amazing! The chorizo lasagne is amazing and our waitress was telling me all about how they have a new menu coming out at the end of this month. The cabaret performers were great, especially the singer. We can’t wait to come back very soon! Thanks again :)

Great venue for cocktails and a catch up - you can often find a seat here as I imagine many people walk past the entrance and don''t realise what is beyond the corridor they first see (walk in and take a look - it is worth seeing). I have to apologise again for breaking a wine glass that I caught with the sleeve of my jacket as we left the other night. It shattered everywhere and I didn't know where to begin picking it up but the staff were very gracious and took care of everything immediately.

It's quite good multi purpose popular venue (in a great/trendy location-Merchant City), with lots of different rooms, bars & a restaurant, spread over 3 floors! They also hold different dance classes and events there!

Was here for a Christmas night out. Food was OK - portions a bit small though. Pate came with two tiny triangles of toast and the cheeseboard had only 3 mini oat cakes, for example. Staff on the night were very helpful as the event coordinator messed up our pre-ordered drinks. After dinner we were rushed off our tables so they could reset for another sitting of dinner which would have been fine if our booths were ready in Canvas, their night club. The bar staff had to clear them of other people and put out the drinks package we had arranges, so could have been better organised with the restaurant to make sure the booths were ready. All in we still had a good night, but I wouldn't rush back for another Christmas night.

Went to Arta on a night out. After several laps of the downstairs bar we found the rest of our group in s room off to the side of the main bar upstairs. The décor of the room we were in was interesting and reminded me of the courtyard of a Moroccan riad. Alcoholic drinks were reasonably priced but soft drinks were comparatively expensive which I find annoying as i generally tend to be driving. The upstairs bar closed and we had to move to the club downstairs. There was a live band playing and there was a good buzz and a decent crowd. I went to the bar to get another cocktail for my wife having used all my cash at the upstairs bar I tried to pay on a credit card. Despite having my card in my hand when i ordered the drink the woman behind the bar didn't tell em there was a £10 minimum on cards, higher than the £5 minimum upstairs and also refused to round the £7 drink up to £10 and give me change like many other bars would.

I was in Arta today for afternoon tea a Christmas gift from my daughter, I have mobility problems at the moment needing a hip replacement and the girl on the bar could not have been more helpful she brought our tea to us downstairs even though it should have been upstairs and told me where the disabled toilet was so I didn't need to climb the stairs very helpful and made us feel welcome please pass my thanks yo the member of staff I should have asked her name but didn't she is a credit yo your establishment .
