Went for lunch at the Atlantic Bar and Brasserie on a monday lunchtime. Had the half rotisserie chicken with sides of roasties, honey glazed vegetables and a portion of fries. Very nice, hearty meal. Service attentive and all set in pleasant surroundings with a nod to Glasgows Empire Exhibition.

We had a table booked for 18:30 on a Tuesday, but even on an off peak day/time the place was immaculate. The waiting staff were very pleasant and helpful, even asking about any allergies which may require changes to our food. 1st course was an amuse-bouche of Coronation Chicken on Crostini, which was a nice tasty little treat. Starter, we ordered the Artichoke Salad and the Terrine. The Terrine was really meaty and tasty, as was the onion chutney that accompanied it. The salad was 'amazing' and really flavourful. Mains, we both ordered the same which was the Pork Belly with black pudding and date stuffing, rosemary & thyme mash and a sausage and bean cassoulet. This was absolutely delicious. We rounded off the 4 courses with a sharing platter of Cheesecake with candied lemon peel & vanilla ice cream and a lemon posset with raspberry coulis & mixed berries. This was phenomenal. All in all a really enjoyable evening with excellent food and service. We will definitely return.

My first time eating here and we will be back. It's lovely inside. Great atmosphere, great food and really lovely staff. Considering everything everyone has had to go through with Covid and the strain it must have put on the restaurant and the staff it was a really relaxed and wonderful evening. I would highly recommend and I would definitely be back. It's not a cheap night but the food really was outstanding. Great and broad bar menu too which made a nice change.

We were out for dinner here on Saturday and it was lovely. Started off with Prawns, Olives and Gluten Free bread. Mains were delicious. Steaks cooked perfect. Both chickens moist and tender. Desert was Creme Brulee which was still on fire. Very cool and also tasty. Restuarant had a nice feel and ambience, great gluten free selection and great service all night. A couple of downsides, but nothing bad enough to stop me going back. The bar staff seemed intent on making as much noise as possible when slamming empty bottles into the bottle bin. The smoked hickory sauce was a tad underwhelming, tasted like tomato sauce with bbq/paprika mixed though it, not very authentic but still ok. Service was great.

Catch-up with a friend for her birthday, got a voucher deal through itison - very reasonably priced at £39 for the two of us for 4 courses and a cocktail. Set menu had plenty choice ( for us anyway) everything was beautifully cooked. Waiting staff were very attentive, one minor gripe was that they seemed keen to clear every course very quickly, even when we were still eating while chatting. Venue was busy and is clearly very popular, range of couples, friend groups, work groups and wide range of ages. If you haven't given this place a try it's definitely worth a look.

In terms of quality and taste - The Atlantic Bar and Brassiere is amazing. I really enjoyed my meal. However, I am coeliac. I told them before via email and phoned prior to our visit. And reminded them when ordering. All good we thought. Nope, I was ill for a whole weekend. Their was definitely cross contamination or something there. If you aren't coeliac I 100% recommend them. The food is AMAZING. But if you have any issues with food. I recommend you avoid.

Well presented food, I would say large for a fine dining style, it was certainly the right size for me, but may be on a small side if you're looking for a feast. Very well matched tastes . selection of several non-alco beers, ciders and drinks, something we had difficulty finding in other restaurants recently. Staff very attentive and checking in after serving food to make sure all's fine. Nice decor. Definitely worth it.

Food was fantastic, however the waiting staff were too eager to clear away between courses, our three course meal took us 70 minutes in total so felt rushed instead of relaxed. The interior is lovely and welcoming and looks like a great place for a meal, some really nice tables but ours was a table for two in between two other tables set very close together, we could hear the conversations from tables on either side which we felt was intrusive We would not visit again due to the whole experience which is a shame because the food was good.

My wife and I had dinner at this restaurant last night and it was a highlight of our travels so far. This restaurant is French in influence both in appearance and atmosphere and food and wine on the menu. My wife was full of praise for her main course which was a simple but very tasty chicken dish. I chose the duck and it was full of rich flavour with a thick sauce of cherries, sliced potato, onions and carrots. The staff were extremely friendly and cheerful and the service was excellent. The wine list is limited in range but of quality. The prices are very reasonable and it is positioned within 10 minutes walk of central station. So, we would give this place a 10 out of 10 as it ticked all the boxes.

Catch up meal in town with friends. Thus place has great ambience and despite being nearly full, not overly noisy. Food was simply delicious and great value too. The very clever waitress who was a delight throughout our service overheard us chatting about going elsewhere for a drink as our time allowed at the table had ended. She quickly reserved an empty booth for us without our knowledge then guided us there! The result? They kept our custom for another three rounds of drinks before our train home. We will be back in the new year!!

Wee special 5pm voucher. £39 for 4 courses for 2 people with fizz cocktails. Worth every penny. Cocktails were refreshing. I had the rotisserie chicken which was succulent and tasty. Dessert posset was lovely as well. And it was a bit quieter than normal which was in it's favour as it can be pretty noisy.

Loved this restaurant!! Had great margaritas and great atmosphere. I am vegetarian and the gnocchi was great if a bit expensive but it makes up for it with the surroundings. Overall a great place for a coffee or cocktail with a margarita coming in at £7.50. Rest of table had chicken and sides with a sharing desert which all looked delish and from the empty plates seemed an all round success. Would definately recommend!

Nice enough place to eat but city centre prices for quite basic food from the 'menu du jour.' Staff a little overattentive constantly topping up water and pouring wine which eventually became interuptive. Was trying to talk to family whom I hadn't seen for quite a while but always had serving staff getting between us. Food was not anything that I couldn't rustle up myself in 15 minutes for a couple of quid. Wine prices were a little steep too. Servings were certainly not 'over generous' and had to have a snack when I got home!
