Went to Bacchus yesterday for afternoon tea and thoroughly enjoyed it. All of the items in the afternoon tea were delicious and well presented, and the staff were so friendly. Would definitely recommend it and go back.

Ahhh sadly this once well liked bar has been the victim of covid. They no longer offer decent vegan dishes for lunch and now only offer Veggie burger or salad, how disappointing. I did advise them that with COP26 coming to Glasgow they should look at offering many more vegan dishes which helps offset climate change.

Very friendly service, they genuinely care. Saw a spell of live music here tonight - the Big Groove - they were bloody great. Very good voice on the leadman and the band didn't miss a beat.

Lovely, unassuming little gem of a pub. The bartender was really welcoming and made me a very good Mojito. When I visited at the end of July 2018, there was a live guitar player and singer performing. Nice atmosphere, relaxed audience.

To be honest we only came here to escape the relentless rain. A fairly straightforward bar catering for couples and older people, the service and staff were fine, no complaints from me, the beer range was my only problem, nothing really I liked, but no problem I switched to cider

I recently visited this space during a development day with the team. This cafe put on a small buffet for us and it brilliant. Staff and service was good and the overall space was nicely laid out. Definitely would recommend.

Nice cosy place. We had an Xmas dinner party and the food was brilliant, everything was delicious, well presented and hot, a lot of places can't manage that for a party of 16. Music was very random but tended to be 80s.

I have been going in to Bacchus for a number of years and myself and family have had our birthdays and meeting up next day after weddings the bar staff are so friendly and now it's under new management I'm sure it will be still as good

The Bacchus is the best place to go to at the end of each month, when Elvis Presley is remembered by the many fans who attend The Elvis Touch, their Glasgow branch of the Elvis Presley fan club. Who meet up with other family members and friends at The Bacchus, Glassford Street at the end of every month. Young fans can discover what their grandparents and parents like about Elvis and hopefully they will become fans themselves, telling their own children and grandchildren about Elvis just like they've been told about when they were growing up! While the Older fans can enjoy the continued experience the music of Elvis Presley has given them over the years!
