One of best fish suppers about! Fish always cooked fresh, chips are lovely and the staff are friendly. Usually very busy at dinner time but worth the wait.

Don't bother pre ordering by phone, thats the 3rd time the staff at counter gave my order away to someone else, right in front of me tonight even though the person collecting it was getting a slightly different order and I protested but they couldn't even sort it there and then,dont order by phone its a waste of time.

Always a good choice for dinner. Staff are friendly and the fryer sure knows how to fry! Never had a bad meal from here in all the years we have been going. 1st class chippy with 1st class food. Ask for a split haggis or a split black pudding.......amazing!

Friendly shop and they offer 2 sizes of fish supper which means you can pay a little less for just one fish. Fish cooked to order so you will never have a fish that's been laying for ages. I've never had a bad meal from this place :-)

Was in search of fried Mars bars but they didnt sell them. That was okay because they have a Charlie! Charlie had a warm welcoming greeting and we made great small talk. I learned about his journey to the UK from India at the age of 5 and love the story because it is similar to my parents and grandparents immagrating to America, opening a restaurant, and making it through hard work. I travel around the world to eat and meet people in the hard-working class. Charlie is no exception, he works the front equal with all his employees. I find that these are the friendliest and kindest people you will ever meet while traveling beause they are proud of who they are and what they've accomplished. We had just eaten so I wasn't looking for food but just seconds after we started talking I knew I wanted to support Charlie's business so I ordered haggis to check off my list. Charlie didn't charge me and Im forever grateful for his gesture. I told him I'll be back the next time I visit Scotland and I stand by my words.
