A. V.Very clean bathrooms, very attentive staff, however the food variety isn't necessarily enough for a buffet. no seafood choices, no duck, no "weird things" a Chinese cuisine usually includes.( Like frog legs, or other things like that).
I will recommend for people who like to taste safe foods. Mainly made of chicken
C. P. B.It's okay if you want a quick fix of asian food, but price v choice is poor. We went specifically for the evening menu, most places like this tend to have a better option of food like threaded duck, good variety of sea food options etc but there was nothing like that. I'd love to see what was different to the evening and day time menu. Standard option of currys, sweat and sour dishes, sundry's but no stand out dishes that is say justify the extra you pay.
Hygiene was good however and staff were friendly. I recommend the place but not for an evening meal.

S. D.I’ve been to a few different Chinese buffets but this is by far my favourite. I was so excited to come back here after lockdown. The quality of the food is great, the staff are lovely and it’s good value for money.

C. S.Great restaurant with plenty of choices in the buffet. The staff are very friendly and attentive. There's every Chinese dish you could think of. There's two choices of soup. I had the chicken and sweet corn. There's an array of starters. Prawn crackers, ribs ect. There's a choices of sauces satay, curry, sweet and sour. There's a great selection of mains with noodles or rice. The sweet selection is vast and there is also ice cream. In the evening there is a chocolate fountain with skewers of profiterols or marshallows. There's fruit and cake. There is also a small Indian section. The restaurant is on a main road so it can be harder to park. We will definitely be coming back when next in Glasgow
C. O.Great service and very nice staff. Selection is okay but I expected more. The least amount of selection I've seen in a China buffet. Food was flavorful. Pay in advanced system. Good covid measures. Need to wear gloves I found odd but the more PPE the better I guess. I would recommend
S. B.Food here is lovely, staff have got it working great for covid, your issued gloves, one way in/out food area. Would prefer more noodles in portion of soup. Choice of food is great, always eat too much even if you say your not going to. Like the pay before you eat so not looking for staff to bring bill at end of meal. Look forward to next visit.

E.I really enjoyed the food, the safety measures (during COVID), the staff, and the £7.99 TUE-FRI lunchtime price. Honestly, this place may look small, but it has general and casual varieties of foods and desserts, I personally prefer this over some large businesses like cosmos. Even as I'm writing this a few hours later, I feel full and happy. Beautiful job.

S.Absolutely astounding food! Couldn't say a bad word about the place at all. Staff are friendly and very helpful and informative. Highly recommend if you want a really decent prices buffet for the family that has amazing Chinese food!
P. L.Food is always top quality. The staff are very organised and friendly. Premises is clean and masks are enforced here which is good to see. Sanitisers everywhere and you are also given gloves when going for a plate of food. Will be back again.
m.Great tasting food 😋 Friendly staff. The plates are not the biggest. The covid measures are fine. You pay for your food and drinks as you enter, and get given gloves for buffet, which is one way. You get guided to where you're going, and can ask for extra gloves if required. Good to be back 😊
S.This place is great....they are super friendly people and are very strict about covid practices...hand sanitizer and NHS track and trace and when you go for your food you must wear face mask and disposable gloves....I was suitable impressed.
The food was delicious...I didn't have everything... obviously...but what I did have was hot and full of flavour and because it was a buffet...you could have as much as you liked...always good. For £12....I certainly was not complaining and the best bit is if your a bit fussy about Chinese food they also served pizza and British style desserts, plenty of vegetarian options too...not a huge alternative to Chinese food but hey....you did go into a Chinese restaurant after all.

Great selection of food and great atmosphere.
All they ask is that you be kind to others and obey the the restrictions and rules, which is, wear single use gloves when collecting food, and only take your mask of at your own table.

It need only one thing:Prawns cooked in different ways.
They only serve them for dinner.
I can't go in a chinese place and not have pranws especially for lunch.
I recommend it thou as it is.
The staff is super fast and really attentive.

H.Waited half an hour to get in and seated which was fine,but when we got in I was shocked by the size of the dinner Plates!!!I like these places but these are the smallest plates ever.some of the Ribs where about more than double the plate size.so until they change I won't be going back...Everything else was fine..food ,service,atmosphere,price.

D. S.Time seems to have caught up with China Buffet King. The lack of choice when it comes to the mains and just about everything saturated in overly salted, greasy sauces is overbearing. Now that all the other buffet restaurants have opened and with grander premises plus vast choices of more tempting food. I feel that CBK has run out of ideas.
And now they have removed the 10% discount for seniors, students etc. A small matter in the grand scheme of things. But in my mind it says a lot.
When I visited at lunch time seatings there seemed sparse.
Having visited CBK for many years at the current Bath Street premises. As well as the West Nile Street and Sauchiehall Street. Both now long gone it is a real shame that I write this. Perhaps things can turn around.
N.Strict covid restrictions and compared to the amount of dishes they served pre covid there was a vast reduction but overall a nice lunch food wasn't anything to shout about but it wasn't bad either. My only complaint would be that it doesn't have a good atmosphere everyone feels very on edge

T.I called the day before I went (Friday) to book a table and was told I didn't need to book so on Saturday went there at 1730 and it was packed I said I called yesterday to make a booking and was told I should have booked. The selection of food was good but some was really dry I would have thought with the large turn round food would be fresh all in all it was ok

Although what I will say is they are slightly hypocritical; so they told me that ibneeded a facemask and i explained that Ibam asthmatic and can't wear one, they insisted at the food area i wear one. I didn't have a problem with this (although my asthma did) butvthen they sit everyone atvtables close together, it was quite empty so they really could split people up to be further away but i was literally one step away from somewhere beside me or behind me.

P. B.First time here and what a fantastic find very welcoming on arrival and the food was amazing plus with their Covid system in place it felt very safe well done to all the staff.
b.Great buffet at a reasonable price. Great location if you are out and about the centre, nice selection of good food. The only reason why it's not 5 stars is that the waiting staff were a bit overwhelming with their attention towards empty plates. We would get a look at our plates every minute which feels like they're trying to rush you into eating faster. Apart from that, we had good experience and definitely will go there again.

It was a very quiet Monday night when i visited so no queues for food.
The duck spring rolls were a bit disappointing as the meat wasnt so much shredded...but minced.
Dessert options were good with the banana fritters being the pick of the bunch.

Although do walk around ALOT and scan your plate to see if your finished. This does mean your plate is cleared promptly but they do seem a little too eager to take your plate.

Came here for lunch with my friends having been here few years ago. The food was lovely plenty of choices. There was also non chinese food like pancakes pakora pizzas so plenty of choice everything fresh and very glod prices 1.40 for reg cola 7.99 each for buffet which is cheaper than in hamimton area where i usually go. Only thing i would say was deserts wernt upto much but wouldn't have been able to fit one in anyway but did have a look on way past loomed like sponge with squirty cream and sprinkles kind of things no cheese cake or gateaus this is why rating a 4 stars instead of 5 but worth a visit. Leave a like.

A. S.The buffet is good. If you go downstairs there is lots of space and alot less people as that is the hot pot place. You choose what fresh food you want and cook it yourself on your table. Defo worth the visit! I come here every other month or so when I'm in glasgow for work. Can't wait to bring my husband here!
