Absolutely loved my first visit here. The food was fantastic and the service top notch! Can't fault it at all! Noted on my booking it was a birthday dinner so they took one of the cocktails off the bill. Decor is really quirky, rustic and atmospheric. Our server Kerri was brilliant! Olives and warm bread were brilliant, steak was cooked to perfection!

Great intimate restaurant on Uddingston main Street. Great food and cocktails as the name indicates. Food was unfussy and well executed. Steak was really medium rare and the staff coped well with dietary requirements. Dinner for 4 with starters , main and a few cocktails came to 50gbp per head not bad all in all. Staff were super friendly but the service was a little on the slow side- however the food, friendlyness and atmosphere more than compensated

I try to always avoid the soulless ex bank sited or new build carvery eateries, I guess you'll see that in my profile. This establishment is truly what the name states, mind you I Never (b4 this weekend had a cocktail, but I had a liquid dessert...V..sneaky it was a cocktail and WOW strong AF ) Let's get down to the gritty Three adults...three courses... a V nice bottle of red (£29) two glasses of red three soft drinks and two mental liquid desserts ..Creme Brulee. 😜. Wait for it. Starters Scallops X 2 , Chicken parfait X1. Main steaks X3 with 5 sides Pudding. Sticky toffy , 2X ice creams Then two liquid desserts I mixed some vanilla ice cream into my one coz the alcohol made my eyes water when I had a sip....proper mental measures. £200 , that's all and the staff will call you a cab FOC ta boot. I've only marked the service down to 4*'s as the two serving staff were run ragged and covered all the tables. Orders Drinks .bar. welcoming. Clear down snd table setting. This restaurant would be 5.5.5. If a dedicated bar person could be costed in obs they could also help with the front of house also. Wota find.

I opted for the ribeye it was slightly over the medium I asked for but not by much. It was well seasoned and full of flavour. However it was a bit on the tough side. Staff and restaurant were both lovely and I’d say it’s worth a try. Sadly it’s not somewhere I’d frequent as a steak lover.

Food was delicious, but felt we were rushed at the end. As reservations are 2 hour slots, we had to leave our table to sit at another table by the window, for our dessert cocktails. We didn't dither at all over our courses, so it wasn't a case of us holding back service. Makes one feel slightly undervalued as a customer, when they are rushing you from your table. An extra 30 mins would have been ideal

Great restaurant and not just steaks on the menu. service was excellent as was my meal. cocktails are also pretty good. One really important aspect was the fact that we didn't have a table time limit pressuring us. We were having dinner with friends and were able to enjoy our meal whilst catching up. thank you

Ordered online and collected takeaway at a time slot that suited me tonight at Cocktails and Steaks. Food was freshly made to order and was very tasty. Friendly and professional staff when I went in to collect my order, was good to see they are following the current social distancing guidelines. Fantastic meal, fantastic service, I will be ordering from here again and looking forward to dining in when they are allowed to fully reopen.

Been here many times and this was the first time we have been disappointed, long wait for meal, part of starter was missed and had to ask for it,after asking about times after 90 mins got a cheeky response about being a chef down, would have been better if this was explained earlier?food didn’t feel as fresh as usual, standards definitely not as high.

Food was ok. Staff were nice but after waiting 40 minutes on a main course to arrive service not great. The fact that tables who came in way after use had all 3 courses delivered before we got mains. Think our order was forgot about, did get free round of soft drinks. When you have 2 toddlers in tow waiting a long time is difficult. This was the first time we had been here dont think I would go back.

Been going here with my wife from when they first started. Never had a bad experience, never been disappointed by their pick-up service. Steaks are AMAZING and always cooked perfectly. Could not recommend highly enough!

Went on Sunday night and went for the Sunday Special, for the quality of the food and portion size the 2 course meal was great value. The food was fantastic, beef cooked to perfection and as requested. Pudding was good and the coffee was as good as I've tasted. Didn't get chance to sample cocktails but drinks menu looked impressive. Intimate surroundings very nicely decorated, I would recommend Cocktails & Steaks to everyone

Really nice food, really attentive service and good atmosphere. Really enjoyed visiting this little place and will be back. Would advise to make a booking we'll in advance though as it is small with a limited amount of space particularly for groups. Steaks we're cooked perfectly and stardard was on the level you would expect in a good quality steak house in the city. Great little find. :)

Friday night our waiter was absolutely fantastic at his job. The food is normally outstanding. However this was our first average experience as the bread are normal hot when served, it was cold. The steaks are normal cooked to perfection, it was over cooked and dry (medium to well done). This was our 5th visit therefore I will definitely give it another chance and hope that the kitchen staff was having a bad day. I would highly recommend this restaurant 👍🏽

Food and drinks is lovely here. Great wee steak house in Uddingston. Had Camembert to start, Chateaubriand steak for mains with chips, onion rings and pepper corn sauce and a sticky toffee pudding for desert. Great size portions and very helpful staff.

Amazing! Scallop starter was so tasty, fillet steak to die for! Wine was a bit pricy though 8.40 a glass of Malbec? Overall really great experience, will definitely be back. Had to mark the score down based on yesterday Nothing wrong with the food as it is always delicious. I just had to leave feedback about the service we received yesterday. We were celebrating a birthday and had the table booked for 5pm. We ordered our food as soon as we got in with no deserts apart from my daughters ice cream. There were severe delays on the starters and mains turning up so this must have put pressure on the time the table needed to be back (7pm). My wife was finishing off her main and the plate was taken away while she was still eating. My daughter was expecting ice cream when we were told we would need to leave. There were also 2 full glasses of wine to be drunk. We were trying to finish these off when the manager comes to the table and motions us up with his hands. So we left with no pudding for my daughter and my wife and mum had to guzzle the wine back. I have to reiterate we ordered as soon as we got in, no puddings and due to the kitchen being exceptionally slow we were ushered out of the restaurant. This has left a sour taste in our mouth and based on this we will not be returning. It's a shame as we have been several times before and have always thoroughly enjoyed our visits.

Overpriced and over-hyped, had the £29 Sirloin and honestly have had better from my local German Supermarket. Beer choice is poor, only San Miguel on draught. The only saving grace was we went on a Tuesday so the Eat Out To Help Out brought the bill down to something more reflective of what we were served. Disappointing given it was recommended to us.

Have never had a bad meal here. Food is tremendous and staff are friendly and attentive. At busier times service can be slow but it’s not a problem. Decor is terrific and they should consider selling their background music as an album.

Went for a boozy lunch & tried this place after hearing so much about it! Food was gorgeous & market menu is great value for money...jerk chicken starter wasn't spicy at all & didn't really taste of Jerk but was delicious none the less. The main was outstanding...featherblade of beef so tender, mash creamy & smooth & red wine jus was fab. Drank cocktails from their list which changes regularly...bit pricey at £8/9 a drink but good sized glass & they all tasted amazing! Will definitely be back, friendly staff, great service, relaxed atmosphere & food and drinks were top notch.

Be prepared to sit and enjoy a glass of wine before your dinner arrives, this isn't the place to go if you're in a rush. Trust me, It's worth waiting for! The food is excellent, beautifully presented and amongst the best I've ever eaten. Great service, lovely decor, amazing food and wine...without a doubt, I'll be back.

A hidden Gem next to the train station, this restaurant's prices might put you off, but don't let it. Here you get what you pay for, and you get it well. All cuts of steak are juicy, cooked to perfection and melt in the mouth. The starters are a mix of classic and delicate, but if you love cheese, the whole baked round of camembert will widen your eyes as the giant plate approaches. The staff are friendly and mix excellent cocktails, whilst the intimate size of the place means that you are always attended to. If you love steak, cocktails and a friendly atmosphere, there is no better place to be.

Had dinner @ cocktails & steak with friends last night and i can honestly say it was the nicest rib eye i've ever tasted my husband had the T-bone which did not disappoint .. the truffle mac&cheese was just amazing! hats off to the chefs.. all washed down with a bottle of there chilled pinot grigio rose . for deserts we had home made sticky toffee pudding which i'm still thinking about today it was that nice ! this is a very trendy on point restaurant with very attentive bar staff trained to make the most fantastic cocktails . my new fave espresso martini. we will most differently be back soon thanks for a great night
