Received a recommendation to visit for lunch. It was definitely worth the recommendation. The interior design is lovely and has an authentic Scottish theme. Lauren looked after my friend and I very well. The food was delicious and priced well. Definitely would return and recommend.

Restaurant interior is nice inside and had a good cosy atmosphere. Food was tasty and everyone seem happy with their meal. Popped next door to their bar for some after dinner drinks and live music. Great time.

Had lunch today at the Coorie in, Cumbernauld village. It was very quiet with only one other table occupied but this meant we had the full attention of the member of staff who served us. He seemed to time it just right when we needed anything. We had Louisiana chicken fried which was quite nice, but the desserts of sticky toffee pudding and berry sundae were delicious. The Coorie in is such a cosy, comfortable place to eat and wheelchair friendly.

Coorie-in Cumbernauld village is modern Scottish decor, wide and varied menu I highly recommend the Cullen skink and King Prawn Inferno both delicious.. excellent drinks menu with cocktails and the famous Larios Gin.. should you want some music sometimes the sister pub Black Bull may have music on and they also have accommodation so your well catered for.

Well what an experience. Myself and my husband have eaten at some top locations but surprisingly this is one of the best places I have eaten in, the mussel mullinere was absolutely amazing. The mussels tasted fresh and quality sauce served with just enough sauce and the ever wanted cleaning cloth. The burger.... where do I start.... It had a fantastic bite not overcooked and just enough cheese and salad to satisfy my healthy side. The brioche was grilled which is the first time outside my own home that I've had this and I definitely recommend it. The staff were were really nice and accommodating and especially since we was visiting from the south they went out of there way to make us feel comfortable. You could tell I liked it, I'm a Yorkshire man and I left a tip..... The only reason I have to give a score of 4 was given solely based on the bad language from one of the customers at the bar, I realise it's a pub and you have to accept this in certain situ, but if I had children with me I would have more than likely been arrested rather than enjoying my meal, surely every conversation does not have to begin with an F and end with an F. A very very well done to staff for finding a middle ground and for providing a great meal.

So 6 months ago we had a bad experience in The Black Bull/Coorie Inn. WOW SO MUCH BETTER 👏👏👏 Today we went back to give them another go. Greeted and seated in a lovely booth. The surroundings in this restaurant are lovely with a Scottish Theme. Ordered drinks right away. Then ordered meals. I had Prawn Cocktail with gluten free toasted bread, absolutely delicious and lots of prawns on a bed of lettuce with cherry tomatoes and Cucumber pieces. My hubby had tempura chicken and was delicious and looked freshly made served with sweet chilli dip and small salad. We then asked for break till next course. No problem at all. Mains were hubby had King Prawn with garlic and chilli, however he has seafood allergy so chef made it with chicken, served with toasted bloomer bread, fries and side salad. Was absolutely yummy. I had cajun chicken breasts with mash, mushroom, tomato, fresh made onion rings and red wine jus. Absolutely tasty. Both meals were we presented and piping hot and super tasty. More drinks had then we got our left overs as so much food to take away as too good to leave it. Dessert was gluten free hot brownie served with Berries and hubby had the recommended waffle and ice cream. WOW what a turn around. Coorie Inn WE WILL BE BACK. Server was Charlene who was very attentive and cheery and helpful. Our faith in your restaurant has been restored. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back. Thank you to Kristal and Linda.

Had a great meal here last weekend. The menu is quite pricey for Cumbernauld but sometimes you really do get what you pay for. The restaurant is tastefully decorated, staff pleasant, attentive service and the menu has a great variety of dishes to tempt you back time and time again. Staff friendly, food lovely. Had the Inferno Prawn starter. Comes with garlic bread, but ordered more to mop up the mouth watering sauce! The smoking area is right beside the no smoking area outside, which was off putting when eating, but space is tight and they have made the best of it. Would recommend. The Coorie Inn food wise is always mega. Really nice and very reasonably priced. The restaurant has always been clean and welcoming any time we have been in. The only thing that can (and not always) let the place down is the time it takes for your food to arrive. We were nearly an hour before our meal came however when it did it was lovely and it was worth the wait. I wouldn't recommend this place if you are time poor.

First thing you notice when you walk in is that it is toasty warm. Food and service both excellent. I had the prawn cocktail, which was extremely generous on the prawns, followed by the grilled sea bass in a prawn and butter sauce which was so so tasty. House Rioja is of high quality.

It was almost 10pm we left after a 6.30pm booking. The waiting time from seating to service was length. We enquired and was given the reason. This seemed acceptable however we weren't informed. Although the delays were direct with the kitchen, service was extremely slow and as customers in waiting weren't looked after. On the plus side when the food came it was lush, dessert was a bit of a let down, but in the main was lovely. One waitress made no eye contact with tables and passed by without acknowledging our attempts to speak with her or to order more drinks while waiting. I will give it another go, due to the food and service from one waitress in particular.

Fantastic pub. Excellent service. Proper barmaid. She had great rapport with the customers. Knew her drinks. Good was beautiful. I had slow cooked lamb rump. Food came quickly. I absolutely love their fillet steak! Served with hand cut chunky chips tomato and mushrooms with peppercorn sauce. Other cuts of steak and sauces available too. They also do fish and a very good steak pie and chips. Cosy wee pub great food nice staff, family friendly. More on the menu than I've mentioned but I haven't tried. Well worth a visit.

Stayed for 2 nights in the small double room. It was small but bedroom and bathroom immaculately clean and very comfortable. Soap and shower gel provided, plenty of towels, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities. Very good value for the price. Lovely bar area and restaurant as well. Stayed in the accomodation nearby, run by the pub. The room was ok although somewhat noisy when the pub turned out. We had people arguing outside our window. Apparently the room is triple glazed but as there was no aircon and a very warm summers night, we had no choice but to leave a top window open.
