Came to this beautiful place due to its amazing reviews and it did not disappoint at all! Service was fantastic, so attentive & you really couldn't ask for more, such lovely people. The food was amazing, I'm a vegan and there was plenty of choices! I had the onion bhajias to start and a Cauliflower & Potato curry with rice and a vegan bread 😍 the best Indian food i've had! Thank you so much! definitely reccomend.

Ordered takeaway for Christmas Day as I could not face all the hassle that goes with Christmas dinner, I use the Delhi Darbar regularly and the food is always great however there was a 2 hour order time on Christmas Day so I though the quality might not be up to the usual standard given the volume being produced. I was wrong, the team at the Delhi smashed it, what a fantastic meal myself and the family had, I just love you guys, service with a smile and quality food every time. Thank you thank you thank you see you all soon have a fantastic New Year.

Without doubt the best curry in Scotland! Simply flawless and surprisingly very cheap. Everything we have ever ordered has been fantastic and we have been going here 10 years but my wife has been going their since she was a kid and she’s never had a bad thing to say about this place. We recommend this restaurant to absolutely everyone and never hear anything other than 10 out of 10. This restaurant is more addictive than smoking!! Try their South Indian curry and trust me, you’ll never want another curry or restaurant ever again!!

This restaurant has been here for decades and the food is as tasty as always! Lamb biryani to die for, best ever, naans are amazing and the curries are so authentic with properly grilled melt-in-mouth chicken. Excellent service, generous portions and so much value for money. Free parking too!

I have been to the Delhi a few of times but we got a huge order and just had to leave a review for the fabulous service we received. We had a group of 9 and ordered for a specific collection time, which was no problem for the restaurant to fulfill. When I arrived to collect it they offered to help me out with the boxes as it was a lot to carry myself. Not only that, it was freezing and slippy so I was very grateful for the help. We all had am amazing meal with plenty left over for the next day. Theres no other indian food like it. We stay 30 mins away and its always worth the drive! You won't be disappointed!

Ambiance is very good and staff is very nice, few dishes are really good like chat, but if you are looking for live Indian food then this is not the one as they serve all frozen food, I have ordered Naan and sahi paneer and they given frozen heated one that’s not what I expected from a Indian restaurant. So choices are yours if you want to go with few drinks and some chats it’s good but if you want typical Indian food it’s not the one you look for

Went to the deli darba in Bishopbriggs on Christmas day it was fabulous we were in for the 6pm serving the place was full and the atmosphere was great the staff were excellent so patient fast at serving our dinners there was a good choice to choose from and they even made me something that wasn't on the xmas menue the restaurant had father Xmas going round with a present for all the kids I would say we all enjoyed the whole experience food was great and I cannot recommend this place highly enough going back next year hopefully thanks everyone at the deli darbar

First time here, the staff were really nice and friendly and so I feel a bit bad to say that the food was ok but the boona wasn't so great my friends had, and my korma was a bit tasteless and watery in flavour, even though it was thick... the nan bread I had was lovely and soft and fresh, but did lack the flavour, it was a sweet nan but I felt it wasn't as flavoursome as others elsewhere, thier social distancing layout does need altered as we were very close to the table behind us although we were all temperature checked when we got in. I don't usually eat spicy onions with my poppadoms but I did try them and I must say they were very tasty. Overall it certainly was not the worst we have had, however it does need some improvement, although I will admit I don't eat Indian very often, but my friends are always eating them so I do put more weight on thier opinion than my own. Pricing was reasonable at £107 for 6 people having 2 courses and 8 pints of juice, so that's also a plus as we felt it was overall good value for money with decent portion sizes.

We've been going to the Delhi as a family for the past 6 years - usually a table for 10 or more when the extended family visit. It was my young brother and his wife who put us onto it as they had discovered it 2 years before. He knows the one of the guys in there. I've never had a poor service, there's a fantastic atmosphere, lights not too bright. The service we recieve has always been how I'd expect to be served. The waiting times can sometimes be lengthy - especially at the take away area but what do you expect from a local place so popular. My first impression was one of quality because when we entered it was waiting room only - and this was a Monday early evening. On one visit I opted for the steak because that's what I felt like at the time and I was not disappointed, as I know my steaks. We found the value for money, service and overall experience worth it each time and always left happy - with our doggy bags for left overs, which they will happily place in airtight tubs for you to take away. Thank you, Delhi Darbar - we'll see you again soon..!

Love this place. The staff are at the top of their game, and have been for years. The house lamb curry is excellent. I love when you order naan bread, you get a full size naan (uncut) like you would with a takeaway - not every Indian restaurant does this. Very good menu, with a good line in tikka / tandoori. They have managed really well to resist 'modernising' the decor, and it feels very authentic inside. The takeaway service is always very efficient. If you are driving, make sure you book early, as the carpark fills up quickly. Only slight drawback is they don't have a website, so if you don't have a menu and want to place a takeaway order, you need to call them and ask what they have and the prices.

Honestly, I have tried to think about something bad to say about The Delhi Darbar, and the only thing I can come up with is " It closes". All the staff are brilliant, the food is terrific, and Linda does a great Irish Coffee for to finish your meal. Kaj?
