Absolutely banging. Great size of portions. I got the chicken burger and my partner got the Columbia burger. We both enjoyed our burgers, but slight issue with mine was that I found a bone. This is understandable, but I was glad to not break my teeth 😁. The fries were lush too. Very generous portions of fries.

What a meal. We went at lunch time on a Saturday and even thought it's not a big place we managed to get a table straight away. I had the smoke stack burger which was massive. The burger was thick and juicy, and cooked well. Got some BBQ Brisket as a side and it was immense. The cajun fries were piled high on my plate and very well seasoned. I had no chance of finishing the meal given the size of the portions. For the size and quality of the food the prices were very reasonable. Can't recommend this place enough. If you like BBQ I'm not sure there's a better place to go in Glasgow.

I got the Jack burger which was the simplest one I could find on their menu. Thinking...if they do a cheeseburger well the chances are they can do other things well. I wasn't disappointed. The burger was brilliant and the spicy fries were great too. The ribs were decent but not as good as their burgers.

Tried here today as it came up as a recommendation in my feed. I ordered the columbian burger, pit beef brisket bun, a full rack of ribs and seasoned fries and a root beer and can of Sprite to wash it down food was freshly made and portions are good the pulled pork was dry I thought but the best was the brisket bun it was to die for it was nicely seasoned and full of flavour and I will be back for more of these. The seasoned fries were ok with a nice kick of spice, and the bottle of root beer was very good

Quality of the food and size of portions are epic! One of, if not, the best burgers I’ve had, certainly in Glasgow. I got the Smoke Stack and seasoned fries, absolutely glorious. However, not impressed that you have to pay for ketchup/mayo etc, a bbq grill should always have these available complimentary. Who eats a burger and fries without sauce? Cashing in 👎🏼

Probably the best place in Glasgow to get anything anywhere close to real deal American BBQ. The ribs were excellent and the smoke flavours was there in spades, the brisket was tender and the fat melts in your mouth, the campfire chilli and all the other sides we had were excellent too, just really good BBQ

Excellent burgers, BIG portions, tasty sides.... You better come hungry! This was The Columbia and it is definitely one of the best burgers I've had. Staff are lovely and friendly too. Only downside is that they charge extra for sauces on the side (even ketchup/mayo).

If you are a burger lover then i'd highly recommended coming here. Several different burgers to choose from whether it be meat or even vegan options. The burgers are big and juicy, with the option to add extra burgers and toppings to make them even bigger. Even the side portion of fries is generous which is good to see, makes a change from other places. Definitely worth a visit.

A joint I have visited multiple times. They have undoubtedly great burgers at this joint. The food tastes great and it is a lively place. I would like to see things like milkshakes on the menu. The biggest drawback is slow and inefficient service. Frankly, the staff is in disorganised, especially during busy times. It's clear there is no real structure to cope with the peak hours. With long wait times and orders being messed up. It's just down to generally poor management. However, if you want the best burgers in Dennistoun, there is something for low and high budgets here.

Came with my partner to celebrate our anniversary, we were both looking forward to trying this place as we'd heard great things about it and we were not let in the slightest, the portion sizes are generous and you could see what you were eating..The Pulled pork is phenomenal, my partner had the chicken burger, which looked amazing aswell, the seasoned fries live up to to the "seasoned"...overall cant fault this place, fast, polite service and well worth a return, if I can leave after this meal.

Took my family for my son's birthday due to his love of ribs. We all loved it with both the mains and the sides being excellent. Between us we had ribs, 2 different burgers, a brisket bun and sides of chilli mac and cheese and beans as well as a couple of different fries. I can't fault any of it and had the joy of tasting all of it as family filled up and I enjoyed a bbq smorgasbord. Great times, we will be back!

So happy they are open for sit-in again, such a good atmosphere, great casual place to sit and have a solo dinner. I had a brisket bun that was melt in the mouth and the best slaw I've ever tried. Not food you'll get anywhere else!! Also the staff are lovely, relaxed and all incredibly sexy for some reason. Can't wait to go back!

Was really looking forward to trying this place and tbh was left a bit disappointed. 😞 The food was OK but nothing to shout about. Burger was OK but for £9 I expect something really delicious the picture of the double cheese burger looks like it is full of melted cheddar cheese but reality is a couple of srandard cheese slices. Pulled pork was tasty enough but very very dry. Chilli was mediocre at best, brisket was decent as was the slaw and fries. Wasn't a bad meal, but had hoped for better as I love this type of food, I won't be rushing back sadly.

I came in on a wet and windy Monday to find the place busy if not quite heaving. Plenty of take outs as well as eat ins. The facilities are basic but fine and the staff friendly. You find a table but order your food at the counter, they call your name when it's done & you go collect it from the counter. They have a limited range of bottled beers which seem a bit over priced even against town centre places but they're different and good so no complaints there. The table next to me had four people with quite a selection of food which all looked very tempting. I was in the mood for a burger so I went for the Jack, a traditional cheeseburger and added bacon for a quid along with plain fries. It didn't take too long for the food to be prepared and it looked great. Even better it tasted good and they're generous with the fries unlike Bread Meats Bread. On both counts. It was a very fine burger indeed, the meat is well cooked and obviously high quality meat home made patty. Well worth the money, the fries were hot and crispy the salad super fresh and pert and I'd definitely come back again.

Vegetarians-avoid! Amazing for meat lovers! We got a take out and even though we live 5mins walk from d.bbq everything was cold, so we had to reheat it in the oven. The chips are amazing, great portion too. My boyfriend was super happy with his Kinley and said it was delicious, I got a meat free jack with bacon and the patty was awful :/, the bacon was okay but in overall 'poor'. Maybe worth considering making mushrooms patties instead..

Really unexpected experience. This place deserve 5 🌟. Order smoked burger. Meat was fresh and well seasoned. sticky fries excellent idea. Just would advise to not be afraid to give the meat more taste in form of some more spices. Also the burger bun would be master peace If you would be able to mix your own "Mexican" seasoning with dough before baking.

This is such a cool joint. Almost sticks out like a sore thumb in the 'scruffier' end of the Duke Street. I was recommended this place by a coworker who also advised to call ahead. I went with my wife, her sister & partner. Her sister was a vegetarian and her fiance is a vegan and both found plenty on the menu they could eat whilst we could still have out meaty goodness. Good mix of people. Selections of drinks was brilliant. Staff did everything to make sure we were comfortable.

One of the best burgers i've ever tried. It's a very small place and they don't have a good ventilation so prepare to get a smokey smell during your lunch/dinner. They do not accept cards so come prepared with cash. There is an atm opposite the store. Their burger was cooked perfectly and the chips were nice.

Their menu is limited but that means that they can give the food they do serve their full attention, meaning it arrives nothing short of perfect. Go there; and go there now! Gluten free available with very knowledgeable and friendly staff happy to explain your menu options (and there's lots of them!). Gluten free buns were nice and soft, a far cry from the usual dry crumbly offerings I've had from other places. Fries are cooked in a separate fryer to prevent cross contamination. Just awesome. Found this place in 2014 and have been going ever since. Sadly I don’t live in Glasgow anymore but whenever I’m back I will come here. Just amazing bbq food. Perhaps some of the best you’ll get in the UK. You’ll probably wait a wee bit for the food but it’s worth it. They also have various imported soft drinks and serve alcohol too. The portion sizes are good for the price so all in all good value. I always eat in but you can order to collect etc too. Well recommended for bbq lovers.

Greasy, glutinous, ridiculous portions. This place has the feel of a burger joint on some Deep South Mississippi street corner and you'll love it. I cam recommend the 'Columbia' which was a burger, bacon, cheese, pickle and slaw pulled pork tower which a jaw dislocating bulldog would struggle to even nibble at. I tackled it in parts and boy was she good. Washed down with an imported American root beer gave an all round authentic diner experience. Best burger in Glasgow and a credit to the Eastend.

Good informal BBQ joint, very good burgers and a surprising array of American and Mexican drinks. Fast service and tasty food not much else to complain about apart from the fact they don't take card but this is easily remedied by jumping across the street to the nearest cash machine, however it can be a little bit annoying. Not the best American BBQ in Glasgow. Never good news when the fries are the best part of the meal. We had two burgers with fries and pulled brisket as sides. The brisket wasnt seasoned and had little flavour and the burgers where dry but tasted ok. I'd maybe go back if passing but wouldn't go out of my way to go back when there are better BBQ's nearby. They have the most delicious burgers and they stack them really high with all sorts of delicious treats e.g homemade slaw, gherkins, pulled pork etc and their homemade spicy fries would definitely win awards!

Easily rivals Bar-B-Que in Texas. Had various meats and sides such as Pulled Pork, Brisket, Coleslaw, Seasoned Fries etc. rather than the humongous Burgers which are a real sight to behold. Meats were wonderfully moist and as soft as butter. Terrific flavour. I have visited many BBQ restaurants in various States in America and this definitely rivals the best.

Used to be the ultimate destination when it first opened. Prices were good & used to do an anytime meal deal which kept the cost respectable. Now it's just a bit too expensive to justify for a burger (very nice burger) and side. Staff always spot on.

As a transplant from Texas, it's vital to find a source for BBQ to help stave off homesickness. Dennistoun BBQ is the one place I've found in Glasgow that helps satiate that need. Their ribs especially are so tender that you can practically pull the bones right out of the meat. I think the only thing that would make this place better would be if the offered a proper Texas style BBQ sauce.
